Gossip Candy

Gossip Candy is an extended play by Japanese recording artist and songwriter Kumi Koda. It was released on July 7, 2010, by Koda's record label, Rhythm Zone. Koda's fifth extended play, Gossip Candy consists of five recordings; Lollipop, Inside Fishbowl, Outside Fishbowl, For You, and a cover of Got to Be Real, originally performed by Cheryl Lynn. It was released in three different formats: Digital EP, CD and CD+DVD. The CD only version was re-released as the "Dream Music Park" edition with a bonus baseball cap. The Dream Music Park concert was later released on the CD+2DVD edition of Dejavu.

Gossip Candy contains predominantly pop-rock and dance music. Kumi contributed by writing the lyrics to all songs except Got to Be Real. Several composers were hired to help with the EP's content. Gossip Candy received favorable reviews from music critics who commended the EP's production and commercial appeal. It reached #4 on the Oricon Singles Chart and was certified gold by the RIAJ for shipments of 100,000 units.Lollipop, Inside Fishbowl, and Outside Fishbowl served as the promotional singles. Lollipop was certified platinum for 250,000 digital shipments.

Lollipop (film)

LolliPop is a Malayalam film released in 2008. The film is directed by Shafi. It stars Kunchacko Boban in an extended special appearance with Prithviraj, Bhavana, Roma, and Jayasurya . The film started filming on 17 August 2008. The main locations are Kochi and Bangkok. It opened to mixed reviews on 21 December 2008.

Plot

The movie commences with Pranchi (Jayasurya) revealing his feelings for Jenny (Roma) to a writer (Jagathy Sreekumar). Pranchi met Franco (Prithviraj) and Franko influenced his life and changed him to be better person.

Franko (Prithviraj) is a young man who runs an automobile workshop by the beach. His sister Jenny (Roma) is a college student. Franco's friend Eby (Kunchacko Boban) likes Jenny. Franko, who employs two people at his workshop, has some dreams about life.

One day Jenny comes to Franco with a problem. Jenny has an enemy in college called Rose (Bhavana). Rose and Jenny argue with each other every time they meet. While playing basketball, they started an argument and the issue escalated into a huge row. Franko comes to Jenny's college, but he is unable to sort out the issue between Jenny and Rose, as he knows both of them very well.

Lollipop F

Lollipop F (Mandarin name 棒棒堂, Japanese name ロリポップF, Korean name 롤리팝 F) is a Taiwanese Mandopop boy band gaining popularity throughout Asia. The group started off with six members, all chosen from Channel [V] Taiwan's show 模范棒棒堂 (Bang Bang Tang, or BBT), a show which sought to create new male artistes in the entertainment business of Taiwan.

Towards the end of 2009, it was announced that the group has split up, with members Liljay and Wang Zi leaving the group. In October 2010, the rest of the members, Owodog, A-Wei, Fabien and William, were regrouped to form Lollipop F, with 'F' representing "four", the number of members in their group, as well as their belief in continuing the Lollipop spirit "forever".

Lollipop signed with EMI Music Taiwan on December 2, 2006 and released their first EP in January 2007. With Gold Label Records' acquisition of EMI Music Taiwan, Lollipop was signed under the label Gold Typhoon until 2013 when the group had a contractual dispute with the label. They then went on and signed with A Entertainment and Seed Music.

Android Lollipop

Android Lollipop is a version of the Android mobile operating system developed by Google, spanning versions between 5.0 and 5.1.1. Unveiled on June 25, 2014, during the Google I/O conference, it became available through official over-the-air (OTA) updates on November 12, 2014, for select devices that run distributions of Android serviced by Google (such as Nexus and Google Play edition devices). Its source code was made available on November 3, 2014.

One of the most prominent changes in the Lollipop release is a redesigned user interface built around a design language known as "Material design". Other changes include improvements to the notifications, which can be accessed from the lockscreen and displayed within applications as top-of-the-screen banners. Google also made internal changes to the platform, with the Android Runtime (ART) officially replacing Dalvik for improved application performance, and with changes intended to improve and optimize battery usage.

As of June 2015, statistics issued by Google indicate that 12.4% of all Android devices accessing Google Play run Lollipop.

Lollipop (1958 song)

"Lollipop" is a pop song written by Julius Dixson and Beverly Ross in 1958. It was first recorded by the duo Ronald & Ruby — Ross herself was "Ruby" — and then covered more successfully by The Chordettes. Dixson's name is sometimes spelled "Dixon".

The song is a firm favorite amongst many performing barbershop music.

Origins

The song originated when Julius Dixson was late for a songwriting session with Beverly Ross. He explained that his daughter had gotten a lollipop stuck in her hair, and that had caused him to be late. Ross was so inspired by the word "lollipop" that she sat down at the piano and produced a version of the song on the spot. Beverly Ross recorded a demo of the song with Ronald Gumm, a 13-year-old neighbor of Dixson, under the name Ronald & Ruby. Ross' mother insisted that she use a pseudonym for safety reasons, because they were an interracial duo.

RCA got hold of it and Dixson, who owned the master and had produced the demo, agreed to let them release it. Ronald and Ruby's version rose up the chart reaching #20.

Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)

"Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)" is a song by Romanian recording artist Alexandra Stan from her debut studio album Saxobeats, which was released as her debut single in 2009. The song charted in her native county, and failed to reach peak positions elsewhere. After the worldwide success of "Mr. Saxobeat", the song was re-released for digital retailers in Belgium, France and the United States. The song samples "Fergalicious" by Fergie, and it was meet with bad reviews but with open doors for later songs. The French DJ David Guetta released on YouTube a mash-up of Stan's Lollipop (Param Pam Pam) and Akon's Sexy Bitch, called Sexy Lollipop. "Lollipop" contains digitally adapted saxophone samples, when Stan sings the song's phrase "...Param Pam Pam"

Music video

An accompanying music video was shot in March 2010 at the MediaPro Studios near to Bucharest, Romania. It gathered over 13.6 million of views on YouTube. It shows Stan together with two female dancers. They're all moving provocant in the video clip and licking lollipops. The music video was criticised, for being to "simply" and for having a "too small" budget. The video in the length of three minutes and fifty-five seconds was released as a limited edition- DVD in the United States in early 2010. The record contains the HD quality Lollipop-video.
