A look at many of the new Hybrid IWB holsters that provide "big leather" and sufficient separation with the belt clips to give incredible comfort. As you can see in various videos over the last year or so, these are my "go-to" holsters most of the time.
Feel free to let us know about anybody else who makes this type holster; however, please do not use this video to promote your favorite random holster or your holster company unless it's this type of holster. Obviously there are probably thousands of IWB holsters out there of all sorts, but this video is targeting these "Big Leather" type Hybrid holsters that Crossbreed originally made famous.

A handgun holster is a device used to hold or restrict the undesired movement of a handgun, most commonly in a location where it can be easily withdrawn for immediate use.
Holsters are generally designed to offer protection to the handgun, secure its retention, and provide ready access to it. The need for ready access is often at odds with the need for security and protection, so the user must consider the individual's needs. Choosing the right balance can be very important, especially in the case of a defensive weapon holster, where failure to access the weapon quickly or damage or loss of the weapon due to insufficient retention or protection could result in serious injury or death to the user.
Holsters are generally designed to be used with one hand, allowing the handgun to be removed and/or replaced with the same hand. To be able to return the handgun to its holster one-handed, the holster must be made from stiff material that holds its shape so that the holster won't collapse when the object is no longer inside to give it support.

Stealth Gear AIWB Holster Review
After I came across Stealth Gear's Onyx holster, I was eager to check out some of their other offerings. Appendix carry has always fasinated me however, I could never find a super comfortable way to implement this carry method. If I'm being honest, this holster is no exeption. This does not take away from the quality that this holster clearly has, it just simply means that appendix carry is not for me. I do my best to review the holster based on it's own merits, rather than my biasts on the comfort of this particular carry method. If AIWB carry is your prefered method, I feel this holster will suit most very well, as it is the most comfortable AIWB holster I have worn to date. -

Appendix carry has always fasinated me however, I could never find a super comfortable way to implement this carry method. If I'm being honest, this holster is no exeption. This does not take away from the quality that this holster clearly has, it just simply means that appendix carry is not for me. I do my best to review the holster based on it's own merits, rather than my biasts on the comfort of this particular carry method. After I came across Stealth Gear's Onyx holster, I was eager to check out some of their other offerings. Appendix carry has always fasinated me however, I could never find a super comfortable way to implement this carry method. If I'm being honest, this holster is no exeption. This does not take away from the quality that this holster clearly has, it just simply means that appendix carry is not for me. I do my best to review the holster based on it's own merits, rather than my biasts on the comfort of this particular carry method. If AIWB carry is your prefered method, I feel this holster will suit most very well, as it is the most comfortable AIWB holster I have worn to date.
