SUMMARY
=======
In mathematics, the word null (from German: null meaning "zero", which is from Latin: nullus meaning "none") means of or related to having zero members in a set or a value of zero. Sometimes the symbol ∅ is used to distinguish "null" from 0.
In a normed vector space the null vector is the zero vector; in a seminormed vector space such as Minkowski space, null vectors are, in general, non-zero. In set theory, the null set is the set with zero elements; and in measure theory, a null set is a set with zero measure.
A null space of a mapping is the part of the domain that is mapped into the null element of the image (the inverse image of the null element).
In statistics, a null hypothesis is a proposition presumed true unless statistical evidence indicates otherwise.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======

As the old saying goes--what is an ocean but a multitude of drops--and yet, terrifyingly for us, several of those drops in question seem to be spectral vessels that have since haunted the Seven Seas, steering their way toward ghostly plunder and eternal servitude to the murky depths. Well, I mean--that was David Mitchell--but still, it sounds pretty cool, right? The point is, over several parts of this list--we’ve scoured the ships manifest and detailed some of the most haunting and horrifying historical entries of shanties and watery tales--and luckily for us, there’s still plent...

Diving Robot Finds $22 Billion In Sunken Gold
The biggest sunken treasure in history has finally been discovered off the coast of California. A diving team was using an unmanned deep sea sumbersible, when they uncovered over $22 billion US dollars worth of gold!
The 300-year-old mystery of the San Jose sunken treasure has finally been solved. The famous ship was sunk by the British Navy in 1708, but now we know the whole story. The San Jose Spanish galleon was thought to be lost forever, but the shipwreck was discovered off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia in 2015 thanks to a state-of-the-art robotic submarine. The Remus 6000 autonomous underwater vehicle, or AUV, discovered the shipwreck and the $22 billion sunken treasure about 1,000 feet underwater. The AUV managed to spot the shipwreck thanks to a high-tech sonar location system...

What If You Fell off a Cruise Ship
In August 2018, a UK woman was sailing on the Adriatic Sea. Seems like nothing out of the ordinary, just the perfect summer vacation out on the open water! The Norwegian Star cruise liner was heading to Venice, Italy after departing from Vargarola, Croatia. The woman was on the 7th deck, when, right before midnight, she fell off the back of the ship! It happened about 60 miles off the coast of a city called Pula. Too far away to call for help…
As soon as the crew found out about the incident, they launched a major search-and-rescue. They checked onboard CCTV cameras to find out exactly when the fall happened. That way, they could pinpoint the ship’s precise location at that time. The liner also contacted the authorities, and they dispatched a patrol ship, a plane, and 2 rescue boats to lo...

Welcome back, Richest fans! For centuries, ships have helped carry some of the most valuable cargo to all parts of the world. Yet every so often, those ships could meet a terrible fate. Either through attack, poor weather, or another factor, those amazing boats may just sink to the bottom of the water. Their exact location could even be unknown to this day. But sometimes, the shipwrecks are found. Yet the cargo is still missing. Today, we’re going to look at some of the missing treasure that’s still waiting to be found. As well as see just how much money is potentially sitting on the seabed.
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we’ll look at the Treasure Fleet from 1715. Only a portion of its riches has been discovered so far. There’s the Sarcophagus of Menkaure that disappeared into the murky waters back in the 1830’s. We have the SS City of Cairo that still has some of its sunken treasure unaccounted for. We’ll examine Lake Guatavita and its connection to the tale of El Dorado. There’s the ship, the SS Gairsoppa, and a part of its precious cargo that hasn’t been found by treasure hunters yet. We have Lake Toplitz that has water with unusual properties. As well as a legend about sunken gold. We have the tale of the RMS Republic, who like The Titanic, was described as “unsinkable”. Finally, we have the Merchant Royal. A ship whose anchor was recently found. Yet the boat and its billion-dollar haul is still in hiding.

Regardless of your age, you probably at least once dreamed of finding a hidden treasure. Just like in adventure books and movies, of course! Alas, there aren't many opportunities to find a pirates' hoard in real life, especially if you live in the city and if you aren't an archaeologist.
But don't worry, there's always a chance to stumble upon a time capsule! Sometimes, even scientists do not know about their existence, and their location remains a mystery until the end. For today's video, we have collected stories about time capsules from the past discovered accidentally by ordinary people.

The AUV managed to spot the shipwreck thanks to a high-tech sonar location system and detailed underwater pictures. Researchers knew they had made a once in a lifetime discovery when the Remus 6000 snapped pictures of bronze cannons adorned with dolphins. These cannons were a signature of the San Jose galleon. The San Jose sunken treasure is the most valuable underwater find of all time, but there is a great debate raging behind the scenes. Who gets to keep all that loot? The treasure still remains underwater, and there is still a lot of red tape to cut through before it can be salvaged. Does the treasure belong to Colombia, Spain, or the USA. The treasure was reportedly discovered once before by a group of American explorers, but the Colombian government says the original find in 1981 was not actually the San Jose shipwreck at all. Keep watching to find out how the San Jose sank over 300 years and how this famous ship was finally discovered.

The liner also contacted the authorities, and they dispatched a patrol ship, a plane, and 2 rescue boats to look for the woman.

SUMMARY:
- The search went on all night. The sun came up, and she was still nowhere to be found. But then, at about 9:30 a.m., they saw a figure off in the distance.
- When the rescue boat finally got to her, it was clear that the woman was exhausted, cold, and in slight shock.
- They found her about 1 mile from where she’d fallen. The rescue team took her straight to the hospital.
- In one of her interviews, she explained that she tried to stay calm and sang throughout the night to keep herself warm. She was also a pretty fit person, so she was able to keep herself afloat.
- The Cruise Lines International Association says that this kind of thing happens only about once for every 1.3 million passengers.
- The emergency crew members are getting together to find where the person fell. They throw life preservers overboard to make sure the individual has a flotation device while they wait for rescue.
- If the crew knows about the incident from the get-go and the ship hasn’t covered much distance in that time, then they’ll release the lifeboats at once.
- If nobody sees the person fall in and they only notice them missing later on, then the chances of successful rescue are not good – only about 10 to 15%.
- If you fall from a considerable height, you risk fracturing bones when hitting the water.
- The temperature of the water can be a deciding factor as well. When someone falls into cold waters, they automatically go into a Cold Shock Response.
- When the water’s around 40°F, a person only has 60 minutes before their body just gets too cold. If it’s 50, that time doubles.
- Modern cruise ships are the safest they’ve ever been, and they have plenty of ways to keep this from happening in the first place.
- Fill your lungs with air and lie on your back with your arms and legs spread out. Move them slowly to stay afloat. This position also helps rescuers spot you more easily.
- Being in the middle of an ocean, you’re prone to sunburn and heatstroke. So, keep your clothes on – they’ll protect you.
- You’ll get thirsty, for sure. But the high concentration of salt in ocean water is toxic to humans.
- The rescue team will start looking for you in the spot where you fell. Don’t leave that place!
- Easier said than done, but you MUST conserve your energy. Panic does the opposite – it wears you out faster and clouds your thinking.
