Was named All Pro 4 times.

Gregory Townsend (born November 3, 1961 in Los Angeles, California) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Raiders in the fourth round of the 1983 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas Christian.
Townsend also played for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Townsend is currently 16th on the NFL's all-time list for career sacks with 109.5.
His son, Greg Townsend, Jr., is currently a defensive end at USC.
In 2012, Townsend partnered with Celebrity Publishing to release his memoir entitled "All Time."
