En esta clasificación se recogían tres grandes grupos, ocho dialectos, veinticinco subdialectos y hasta cincuenta variedades. It is the only member of the monotypic genus Bubulcus, although some authorities regard its two subspecies as full species, the western cattle egret and the eastern cattle egret. Despite the similarities in plumage to the egrets of the genus Egretta, it is more closely related to the herons of Ardea. They often accompany cattle or other large mammals, catching insect and small vertebrate prey disturbed by these animals. Some populations of the cattle egret are migratory and others show post-breeding dispersal. The adult cattle egret has few predators, but birds or mammals may raid its nests, and chicks may be lost to starvation, calcium deficiency or disturbance from other large birds. This species maintains a special relationship with cattle, which extends to other large grazing mammals; wider human farming is believed to be a major cause of their suddenly expanded range. The cattle egret removes ticks and flies from cattle and consumes them. This benefits both species, but it has been implicated in the spread of tick-borne animal diseases. The cattle egret was first described in 1758 by Linnaeus in his Systema naturae as Ardea ibis,[2] but was moved to its current genus by Charles Lucien Bonaparte in 1855.[3] Its genus name Bubulcus is Latin for herdsman, referring, like the English name, to this species' association with cattle.[4] Ibis is a Latin and Greek word which originally referred to another white wading bird, the sacred ibis.[5] The cattle egret has two geographical races which are sometimes classified as full species, the western cattle egret, B. ibis, and eastern cattle egret, B. coromandus. The two forms were split by McAllan and Bruce,[6] but were regarded as conspecific by almost all other recent authors until the publication of the influential Birds of South Asia.[7] The eastern subspecies B. A regular visitor to the garden, this Cooper's Hawk appeared on both September 11 and 12, 2015. Two clips as the hawk sis, drinks and bathes in the birdbath. From Wikipedia ... Cooper's hawk (Accipiter cooperii) is a medium-sized hawk native to the North American continent and found from Southern Canada to Northern Mexico. As in many birds of prey, the male is smaller than the female. The birds found east of the Mississippi River tend to be larger on average than the birds found to the west. Cooper's hawk was first described by French naturalist Charles Lucien Bonaparte in 1828. It is a member of the goshawk genus Accipiter. This bird was named after the naturalist William Cooper, one of the founders of the New York Lyceum of Natural History (later the New York Academy of Sciences) in New York. La Bibliothèque Municipale d'Ajaccio a été ouverte dans l'aile Nord du Palais Fesch en 1868, réalisée par l'architecte Jean CAZENEUVE en collaboration avec Jérôme MAGLIOLI, elle était à l'origine prévue pour être une galerie destinée à l'exposition de grands tableaux. C'est à Jérôme MAGLIOLI que l'on doit le majestueux escalier d'honneur qui se trouve dans le hall d'entrée gardé par deux lions de plâtre moulés sur les originaux du sculpteur CANOVA au tombeau de Clément XIII à Saint-Pierre de Rome. La majestueuse salle patrimoniale mesure 30 mètres de long, 9 mètres de large et 10 mètres de haut. 16 fenêtres ouvrent sur la galerie. Son mobilier en noyer (rayonnages et table de 18 mètres de long) a été réalisé par l'architecte CAZENEUVE. La Bibliothèque Municipale a été classée parmi les monuments historique en 1986 Fondée en Juin 1801 par Lucien BONAPARTE, frère de Napoléon, Ministre de l'Intérieur, qui la dota de 12310 ouvrages, la Bibliothèque existait avant son installation dans les locaux actuels. En 1801, les fonds de livres se trouvaient au séminaire (transformé en Préfecture) puis à la maison Benielli, ensuite à l'ancien couvent des Jésuites et au rez de chaussée de l'hôtel de ville avant d'intégrer l'aile Nord du Palais Fesch.

Boccherini was born in Lucca, Italy, into a musical family. At a young age he was sent by his father, a cellist and double bass player, to study in Rome. In 1757 they both went to Vienna where they were employed by the court as musicians in the Burgtheater. In 1761 Boccherini went to Madrid, where he was employed by Infante Luis Antonio of Spain, younger brother of King Charles III. There he flourished under royal patronage, until one day when the King expressed his disapproval at a passage in a new trio, and ordered Boccherini to change it. The composer, no doubt irritated with this intrusion into his art, doubled the passage instead, leading to his immediate dismissal. Then he accompanied Don Luis to Arenas de San Pedro, a little town at the Gredos mountains; there and in the closest town of Candeleda, Boccherini wrote many of his most brilliant works. Among his late patrons was the French consul Lucien Bonaparte, as well as King Friedrich Wilhelm II of Prussia, himself an amateur cellist, flautist, and avid supporter of the arts. Boccherini fell on hard times following the deaths of his Spanish patron, two wives, and two daughters, and he died almost in poverty in Madrid in 1805, being survived by two sons. His blood line continues to this day in Spain.[citation needed] He was buried in the Pontifical Basilica of St. Michael until 1927, when Benito Mussolini repatriated his remains to the Church of San Francesco of his native Lucca.
