Jonathan Ryan "Jon" Pardi (born May 20, 1985) is an American country music singer/songwriter signed to Capitol Records Nashville. He has released one album, one extended play, and five singles which have charted on Hot Country Songs and/or Country Airplay.
In 2010, Pardi toured as an opening act for labelmate Dierks Bentley.
In March 2012, Pardi released his debut single, "Missin' You Crazy". It debuted at number 58 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the week of April 14, 2012, and peaked at #29. It received three stars from Taste of Country's Billy Dukes. "Up All Night", his second single, was released in that same month in 2013, and became his first Top 10 hit. His third single, "What I Can't Put Down", was also released that month in 2014. The album's fourth single, "When I've Been Drinkin'", was released to country radio on September 22, 2014. Those four songs all appear on Pardi's debut album, Write You a Song, which was released on January 14, 2014 via Capitol Nashville. In May 2015, Pardi released a six-song extended play of songs recorded for but not included on Write You a Song, titled The B Sides, 2011-2014.
"Head Over Boots" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Jon Pardi. It was released to radio on September 14, 2015 as the lead single to his upcoming second studio album. The song was written by Pardi and Luke Laird.
An uncredited review from Taste of Country was favorable, saying that it "immediately separates itself from his previous, mostly party-centric cuts" and that "The swinging feel of 'Head Over Boots' is the song’s signature. Lyrically the singer and co-writer Luke Laird don’t reinvent the love song."
The song has sold 114,000 copies in the United States as of February 2016.
"Wanna Go" is a song by the British rapper Maxsta, featuring vocals from Little Nikki. It was released on 29 September 2013, through Sony Music Entertainment. It entered the UK Singles Chart Update at number 40 and entered the official charts at number 43, managing to enter at number 8 in the R&B chart.
A music video to accompany the release of "Wanna Go" was first released onto YouTube on 6 August 2013 at a total length of four minutes and five seconds.

Literacy, Literacies, and Student Research-Writing Behaviors In his talk, Dr. Purdy proposes that to prepare students for their college career, and civic endeavors, universities must promote an understanding of literacies that builds on students' rich extracurricular, digital lives and make literacies instruction the shared responsibility of the entire campus community. Rhetoric and writing teacher-scholars are in a unique position to lead this effort. After reviewing prevailing definitions of literacy and exigent research about students' research-writing practices, he shares seven foundational ideas for a different approach to literacy. He closes by offering six pedagogical and five programmatic ideas for enacting this approach to literacies.
