The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era. Rooted in skiffle, beat, and 1950s rock and roll, the Beatles later experimented with several genres, ranging from pop ballads and Indian music to psychedelia and hard rock, often incorporating classical elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as the group's music grew in sophistication, led by primary songwriters Lennon and McCartney, they came to be perceived as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the counterculture of the 1960s.
The Beatles built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over a three-year period from 1960, with Stuart Sutcliffe initially serving as bass player. The core of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison went through a succession of drummers, most notably Pete Best, before asking Starr to join them. Manager Brian Epstein moulded them into a professional act and producer George Martin enhanced their musical potential. They gained popularity in the United Kingdom after their first hit, "Love Me Do", in late 1962. They acquired the nickname "the Fab Four" as Beatlemania grew in Britain over the following year, and by early 1964 they had become international stars, leading the "British Invasion" of the United States pop market. From 1965 onwards, the Beatles produced what many consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The Beatles (commonly known as the White Album, 1968) and Abbey Road (1969).

"My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)" is the first single from musical group En Vogue's second album, Funky Divas. It has been certified gold by the RIAA for shipments of over 500,000 units. The song features Maxine Jones and Dawn Robinson on lead vocals. In a 1992 article En Vogue mentioned this was one of the last songs they recorded for Funky Divas, which resulted in it being released as a single so close to the album's release date.
The song appears in the 1995 movie Canaleo and the 2007 Chris Rock film, I Think I Love My Wife, as well as on the soundtrack to video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Also, on the episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch in the episode, "Ping, Ping A Song". The song was covered by Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale, on the 97th episode of popular musical series Glee, which aired on February 25, 2014.
This song contains a sample of the guitar riff from the James Brown song "The Payback". The guitar sample is looped throughout the entire song and forms the basis of the melody.
"All My Loving" is a song by English rock group the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney), from the 1963 album With the Beatles. Though it was not released as a single in the United Kingdom or the United States, it drew considerable radio airplay, prompting EMI to issue it as the title track of an EP. The song was released as a single in Canada, where it became a number one hit. The Canadian single was imported into the US in enough quantities to peak at number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 1964. It was the first song most Americans ever heard the group sing as it was the opening song on their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show on 9 February 1964.
According to journalist Bill Harry, McCartney thought of the lyrics whilst shaving, though McCartney told biographer Barry Miles that he wrote them while on a tour bus. He also said, "It was the first song I'd ever written the words first. I never wrote words first, it was always some kind of accompaniment. I've hardly ever done it since either." The lyrics follow the "letter song" model as used on "P.S. I Love You", the B-side of their first single. After arriving at the location of the gig, he wrote the music on a piano backstage.
American Tour is the third studio album by English rock band The Dave Clark Five. This album is notable for containing the U.S. hit song "Because" as well as "Whenever You're Around", which wasn't a single in the U.S. but was issued as a b-side to "I'm Thinking Of You Baby" in the U.K., and was featured in the film "Get Yourself A College Girl". In Canada, it was released as "On Stage With The Dave Clark Five" on Capitol Records.

It's 9th February 1964. With George's bad throat now, thankfully, better; at 8pm on Sunday 9th February, 1964, the live broadcast of the first Ed Sullivan Show was aired with the full Beatle line-up. The band played five songs (All My Loving, Till There Was You, She Loves You, I Saw Her Standing There and I Want To Hold Your Hand) and made broadcasting history. Paul: "Seventy-three million people were reported to have watched the first show. It is still supposed to be one of the largest viewing audiences ever in the States." Three other British acts completed the show's schedule - 'The British Invasion' was now well under way. By this point, The Beatles were better able to comprehend the phenomenon of their success, in part because Elvis himself had just publicly congratulated them... ...

The Beatles had a break from their Autumn Tour, and spent the afternoon at the Granada television studios in Manchester filming a performance and interview for the Late Scene Extra and Scene At 6.30 programmes. They mimed to two songs: their forthcoming single I Want To Hold Your Hand and its b-side This Boy. The backdrop of the stage set contained enlarged fictitious headlines from the Daily Echo. The interview took place on the same set, and was conducted by presenter Gay Byrne. The Beatles were joined by Liverpudlian comedian Ken Dodd. The footage was used in the 27 November edition of Late Scene Extra, which was broadcast from 11.45pm to midnight, and in the 20 December edition of Scene At 6.30.
