SYRACUSE, NY - Criminals are using Maddox Lawrence's murder to scam people out of their money.

The family of Baby Maddox says they stand behind only one online fundraiser.  According to CNYCentral, the Go Fund Me page is called "Baby Maddox."

So far the page has raised nearly $27,000 dollars. The money will be used for Maddox's mother to cover the cost of being out of work.  According the description on the page, donors have already come forward to cover the child's funeral expenses.

Shawn Forster, Morgan Lawrence's uncle tells CNYCentral that Morgan is aware of the site and the family sanctions it.

There have been a number of other pages claiming to raise money for the Lawrence Family.
