The Coup de Grace

Their first record on the long defunct Red Decible Records.  This one brings to vinyl many of their earliest, most catchy metal masterpieces.   As far as I know, they have only two other releases, a blue vinyl 7" single, and a CD called The art of Survival.  I own both…maybe one day I’ll rip and post them.

3 Live shows!

The Coup were one of my favorite local metal bands.  Really nice guys, and they played some tasty metal. I went to school with the bass player Kurt, and I’m not sure if there is anyone more friendly than Jimmy.  I’m not sure how I managed to not post something by these guys yet.

This post brings out 3 live tapes from the late 80’s in one big bundle of MP3 goodness.   Posted over at Lockjaw by long time Impaler roadie/guitarist Johnny Stradinger.  Right on!
