watch in hd hello, my wonderful subscribers! how are you all? first thing is first, please don't dislike the video because you dislike the character. dislike because you don't like the actual video itself. thank you. so this is for the second round of naomi (xcrumblemuffinx's) contest 'the five stages of grief' and for this round it was anger. it was a toss up between kate beckett and chuck bass but i chose to explore chuck as i know the show better and because i find him an interesting character. sometimes i think chuck has a very subtle anger, as he is quite devious but making this video i see when he's angry, he's not just angry. its like a small mix of emotions, which is one reason i found this video quite hard to do as i couldn't just isolate anger. i think the main sources of his anger is blair, his father, and loss. i don't think he's very good at handling stuff like loss and not being in control; which then brings out the darker side of him. i think chuck is quite a sad and tragic character, he angered himself over his fathers 'death' and always defended his honour, always wanted to go the extra mile to please him and bart never did anything kind in return. he just took and took and took until he damaged his son. i think thats one of the reasons that he found it so hard to accept lily and the van der woodsen's as his family after bart died, because he believed that because his father couldn't love him, or didn't love him that no one else could, even though they said they did. he just seemed to push them away. i chose this song also because i find it quite eerie and dark and even though it didn't scream 'anger' it screamed chuck bass. least to me it did. i apologise for the babble, it's half one in the morning and for that i must stop. i hope you all enjoy this! and i have a few more videos on the go and a little time to work on them, so keep your eyes open! voiceovers; 'you need to be with your family' 'my family? i don't have a family' 'you sat in the car and you said you'd never go; we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. now you can't look at me, you don't even care enough to tell me why?'
