Siumut

Siumut (lit. Forward) is a social-democraticpolitical party in Greenland. The party was formally an observer affiliate of the Socialist International. Siumut is currently led by Kim Kielsen. Until September 2014 it was led by Aleqa Hammond, member of the Greenlandic Parliament, who was the first woman to lead the party.

Originally formed in 1971 as a political movement, Siumut was established as a party in 1977, and following the establishment of home rule for Greenland in January 1979, in the April 1979 general election received thirteen out of 21 seats in the newly formed Landsting, enabling party Chairman Jonathan Motzfeldt to become the first Prime Minister of Greenland. Following the 1991 general election, Motzfeldt stepped down and was replaced by Lars Emil Johansen, also of Siumut, who governed in coalition with Inuit Ataqatigiit. From 1997, and until 2002, Motzfeldt was again Prime Minister, until he was succeeded by Hans Enoksen. From 1979 until 2009 and since 2013, members of Siumut have served as Greenland's Prime Minister. In the 15 November 2005 general election, the party won 30.7% of the popular vote and 10 out of 31 seats in the Landsting. In the 2009 general election, it won 26.5% of the popular vote and 9 seats and in the 2013 election, it won 42.8% of the popular vote and 14 out of 31 seats. At the 2014 elections the party was still the largest party, but it lost three members of the parliament and has now 11 members.

Kadima

Kadima (Hebrew: קדימה‎, lit. Forward) is a centrist and liberalpolitical party in Israel. It was established on 24 November 2005 by moderates from Likud largely to support the issue of Ariel Sharon's unilateral disengagement plan, and was soon joined by like-minded Labor politicians.

With Ehud Olmert as party chairman following Sharon's stroke, it became the largest party in the Knesset after the 2006 elections, winning 29 of the 120 seats, and led a coalition government. Although Kadima also won the most seats in the 2009 elections under Tzipi Livni's leadership, it became an opposition party for the first time after a Likud-led government was formed. Livni was defeated in the 2012 leadership election, losing out to the more conservative Shaul Mofaz. Following Livni's defeat, the party's progressive wing broke away at the end of 2012, to form a new centre-left party, Hatnuah, which Livni led from the outset. In the 2013 elections, Kadima became the smallest party in the Knesset, winning only 2 seats and barely passing the electoral threshold. It did not enter the 2015 elections.

Blake Butler (born 1979) is an American writer and editor. He edited the defunct literature blog HTML Giant, and two journals: Lamination Colony, and concurrently with co-editor Ken Baumann, No Colony. His other writing has appeared in Birkensnake, The Believer, Unsaid, Fence, Willow Springs, The Lifted Brow, Opium Magazine, Gigantic and Black Warrior Review. He also writes a regular column for Vice Magazine.

Butler attended Georgia Tech, where he initially intended to major in computer science before switching to multi-media design. He graduated with a Bachelors and went on to Bennington College for his Master of Fine Arts.

4ever (The Veronicas song)

"4ever" is a song written and produced by Max Martin and Lukasz Gottwald for The Veronicas' debut studio album The Secret Life Of... (2005). It was released as the album's first single in Australia on 15 August 2005 as a CD single. The song reached number two on the ARIA Charts and number seven in New Zealand. In the United States, the single was promoted early in 2006 by Archie Comics through a mention in issue #167 of the group's namesake Veronica's comic, which featured a guest appearance and cover picture of The Veronicas and a card containing a code that could be used to download an MP3 version of the song free. It was also featured on the first episode of the third season of the MTV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The song was released as promo for the 2008 Ashley Tisdale's movie Picture This!. Similarly, it was also used in the film She's the Man.

"4ever" was released as The Veronicas second UK single in late Summer 2009. The track was included on the UK version of the album Hook Me Up which was released shortly afterwards. The song debuted on the UK singles chart at number 197 on 28 September 2009, and moved up one hundred and eighty places to a new peak of 17 the following week. It is being re-released in the US as the third single from Hook Me Up. The band re-recorded the vocals for the re-release of the single in the US and the release of the single in the UK. The new vocals are also used in the 2009 music video for the song.

TMC6

Transmembrane channel-like protein 6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TMC6 gene.In vivo, TMC6 and its homolog TMC8, interact and form a complex with the zinc transporter 1 (SLC30A1) and localize mostly to the endoplasmic reticulum, but also to the nuclear membrane and Golgi apparatus.

Inactivating mutations in TMC6 or TMC8 have been implicated as the genetic cause of the rare skin disorder epidermodysplasia verruciformis, which is characterized by abnormal susceptibility to human papillomaviruses (HPVs) of the skin resulting in the growth of scaly macules and papules, particularly on the hands and feet.

Chuck (season 1)

The first season of Chuck originally aired between September 24, 2007 and January 24, 2008. The season, cut short by the Writers' Strike, contains thirteen episodes. It introduced the series' main characters and established the general plot of the title character, Chuck Bartowski, having to adapt to his new life as a spy after the only remaining copy of the U.S. government's spy secrets are embedded into his brain. He is forced to juggle his responsibilities as a spy and the supervisor of a technical support team, called the "Nerd Herd", at his local Buy More store (a parody of Best Buy). Having become the most important asset of the U.S. government, Chuck is under the constant surveillance of his CIA handler, Sarah Walker, and NSA agent John Casey, who remind him that he cannot reveal his spy life to his sister Ellie, nor his best friend Morgan Grimes.
