Angika - Journeys in Love (Contemporary Kathak Expressions video) Kathak originates from the word Katha, the art of storytelling. In turn, story is an idiom for emotions; the journey of a soul in rapture. Love is at the base of all emotions: in love, the soul transcends form, silence becomes dance, rhythm becomes colour, light sings and the body becomes a memory.
