So a week ago, I dropped out for a few days. Where did
I go? To the 3rd annual
Benghazi Tribute on
September 11.
Why is Benghazi important?
[insert
Hillary: “What
difference does it make?”]
That’s exactly what we are trying to do, Hillary, but for some strange reason, you decided to destroy every single email leading up to the
Benghazi attack exactly 3 years ago – Sept. 11,
2012.
Why is Benghazi important? Because this is where the
Obama/
Clinton team became dominant enough to essentially have the
U.S. switch sides in the war on terror.
The American people need to know what track our government is now on. And that is why the
Iranian Nuke deal is being pushed through
Congress. That is why
ISIS has been so successful. That is what’s behind the latest
Washington scandal where 50
Defense Intelligence Agency analysts say that the
Obama administration deliberately changed their conclusions to portray ISIS as the “
JV team” – not the significant threat to
Middle East stability that they really are. And to some degree -- AT LEAST – empowered by the Clinton/Obama team.
Why did Benghazi happen? The best answers for that lie in
Hillary Clinton’s missing emails. Are they really gone or has Obama himself now classified them as
TOP SECRET in an attempt to cover up the following:
The best working theory among the military/intelligence community is that the attack on the
American embassy in Benghazi was designed to be effective by pulling back all protection from
Ambassador Stevens so that a small militia force of 125-150 could capture the embassy grounds and take him hostage.
Despite repeated pleas over the preceding months for additional security guards, at the time of the attack, only 7
Americans were in the embassy compound.
Why
Bengazi? Bengazi was apparently a major transit
point for
American weapons shipments being clandestinely sent to
Syrian rebels fighting the
Assad regime. Some of these US-armed rebels may have morphed into the group now known as ISIS.
Clandestine weapons’ shipments was Stevens’ area of expertise. That’s probably why he was posted in Benghazi.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Stevens had become expendable.
Interestingly,
Goal #1 for the terrorists that first breached the
Embassy gates in the evening of Sept. 11, was Ambassador Stevens’ safe. They knew exactly where it was and went right to it.
Unbelievably, the terrorists initially met with no armed resistance. The small guard force had been ordered by
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier in the day to store their weapons, helmets and body armor in another building, leaving them defenseless for the attack.
This would be a good reason for these emails from Clinton be the first to disappear.
However, the small guard contingent got Stevens and information management officer,
Sean Smith into the embassy safe room, before running to retrieve their weapons. When they tried to return to the main embassy building they were met with heavy gunfire. Vastly outnumbered, they were forced to retreat.
The best working theory is that goal #2 for the terrorists was to find Stevens and to hold him for ransom. What would be the ransom price? An exchange for
America’s first very successful
Muslim terrorist, the
Blind Sheik,
Omar Abdel-Rahman. He masterminded the
1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Although most people don’t know it, but during
Rahman’s trial it came out that his plot was not only to blow up the
World Trade Center, but set off 5 large bombs within 10 minutes of each other that would destroy the
United Nations, the
Lincoln and
Holland Tunnels, the
George Washington Bridge, and a federal building housing the
FBI in
New York City.
Only the
Trade Center bomb went off in a sub-basement parking garage, but it was not strong enough to topple the building.
Rahman is currently serving a life sentence in a
Federal Prison in
Butner, North Carolina.
Rachman’s release would be very difficult and embarrassing for the Obama administration to achieve. Obama would have to essentially pardon the highest-ranking Muslim terrorist tried, convicted and imprisoned in
U.S. history. Only a prisoner exchange for a
U.S. ambassador would do.
Meanwhile back in Benghazi, t he terrorists could not penetrate the walls of the safe room. Stevens and
Smith hunkered down.
In an attempt to drive Stevens out, the terrorists poured diesel fuel over the floor outside the safe room and sat it on fire.
Thick smoke filled the building. Stevens refused to come out, knowing his fate would be torture. He died of asphyxiation.
Last week,
Admiral Ace
Lyons put all this into perspective in his riveting, fact-driven presentation – at age 87, speaking without notes – off the top of his head at the Benghazi Tribute in
Jacksonville, Florida.
