Sixth chakra is holistic in nature. When this chakra is fully activated, both hemispheres of the brain function in synchrony. The right hemisphere's creativity and synthetic thinking is integrated and balanced with left hemisphere's logical and analytical thinking.
The Third Eye is not only the seat of wisdom, but also a seat of conscience. This is where you not only see what is going on, but you also know what it means. This is where your sense of justice and your ethics originate. When your third eye is open, you not only see but you also understand.

Tibet is a relatively little known and mysterious land of snow high up in the Himalayas that borders Nepal, Bhutan ad India. It is protected by the highest mountains in the world and is a region that has developed a unique society whose philosophy, art and religious faith have earned much interest and respect.Lhasa is the capital of Tibet and also its largest city. The Barkhor Road extends for eight hundred metres around the Jokhang Temple and nearby Tsuklakhang Square. For the faithful a visit to the Jokhang Temple is the highlight of a long and arduous pilgrimage and the Dalai Lama once sat in its inner courtyard during the monks’ annual final examination, which was also a splendid festive event. On the other side of the Chakpori, a small mountain opposite Potala, is the seldom visited Sang Gya Thong Ku Temple that is somewhat hidden away and therefore off the tourist trail. This ‘temple of a thousand images of god’ is nevertheless very popular among devout Buddhists and is a place of silent prayer. The Yarlung Valley is full of history such as possessing the oldest field in Tibet, as well as the oldest village that is located at the foot of the country’s oldest fortress, Yom Bu La Khang, the rock palace of the country’s first mystic king. One of the largest monuments in Tibetan architecture is the unique Kumbum Chörten, a three-dimensional mandala that can be entered. Eyes decorate the upper part of the Stupa. The ritual walkabout begins on the lowest level with simple deities then follows the entire Pantheon of Tibet, immortalised in both sculptures and wall paintings. Despite Chinese influence, Tibet is still a religiously devout country with a fascinating monastery culture and amazing natural scenery. Tashi Delek! The Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), Tibet or Xizang for short, also called the Xizang Autonomous Region (Tibetan: བོད་རང་སྐྱོང་ལྗོངས།; Chinese: 西藏自治区) is a province-level autonomous region of the People's Republic of China (PRC). It was created in 1965 on the basis of an administrative region which had been incorporated into the PRC in 1951.
Within the People's Republic of China, Tibet is identified with the Autonomous Region, which includes about half of ethno-cultural Tibet, including the traditional provinces of Ü-Tsang and the western half of Kham. The borders of the present Autonomous Region coincide roughly with the actual zone of control of the then-government of Tibet in 1950. The Tibet Autonomous Region is the second-largest province-level division of China by area, spanning over 1,200,000 square kilometres (460,000 sq mi), after Xinjiang, and due to its generally harsh terrain, is the least densely populated provincial-level division of the PRC.
Modern scholars still debate on whether the Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1644) had sovereignty over Tibet prior to the conquest of Tibet in 1642. While Tibet has formally been a part of China since 1644 as part of the Qing Dynasty, from 1912 to 1950 Tibet was dissolved from China proper as a result of the 1911 Revolution and Japanese occupation during WW2. Other parts of ethno-cultural Tibet (eastern Kham and Amdo) have also been under the administration of the Chinese dynastic government since the mid-eighteenth century; today they are distributed among the provinces of Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan. For the faithful a visit to the Jokhang Temple is the highlight of a long and arduous pilgrimage and the Dalai Lama once sat in its inner courtyard during the monks’ annual final examination, which was also a splendid festive event. On the other side of the Chakpori, a small mountain opposite Potala, is the seldom visited Sang Gya Thong Ku Temple that is somewhat hidden away and therefore off the tourist trail. This ‘temple of a thousand images of god’ is nevertheless very popular among devout Buddhists and is a place of silent prayer. The Yarlung Valley is full of history such as possessing the oldest field in Tibet, as well as the oldest village that is located at the foot of the country’s oldest fortress, Yom Bu La Khang, the rock palace of the country’s first mystic king. One of the largest monuments in Tibetan architecture is the unique Kumbum Chörten, a three-dimensional mandala that can be entered. Eyes decorate the upper part of the Stupa. The ritual walkabout begins on the lowest level with simple deities then follows the entire Pantheon of Tibet, immortalised in both sculptures and wall paintings. Despite Chinese influence, Tibet is still a religiously devout country with a fascinating monastery culture and amazing natural scenery. Tashi Delek! Young monk Tsephun lives and works with his master Dondrup, a curmudgeonly old lama. Tsephun helps his master with the day-to-day jobs of cleaning and tidying; in return, Dondrup teaches Tsephun the sutras and scriptures, an essential part of becoming a monk.

The energy of Ajna allows us to access our inner guidance that comes from the depths of our being. It allows us to cut through illusion and to access deeper truths - to see beyond the mind, beyond the words.
The "way of the third eye" is seeing everything as it is from a point of "witness" or "observer", or from simply being mindful - moment by moment.
It means examining self-limiting ideas and developing wisdom that comes from a perspective that transcends the duality of good or bad, black or white. It means seeing and helping others to see the deeper meanings of the situations in their lives.
Sixth chakra is holistic in nature. When this chakra is fully activated, both hemispheres of the brain function in synchrony. The right hemisphere's creativity and synthetic thinking is integrated and balanced with left hemisphere's logical and analytical thinking.
The Third Eye is not only the seat of wisdom, but also a seat of conscience. This is where you not only see what is going on, but you also know what it means. This is where your sense of justice and your ethics originate. When your third eye is open, you not only see but you also understand.

It is protected by the highest mountains in the world and is a region that has developed a unique society whose philosophy, art and religious faith have earned much interest and respect.Lhasa is the capital of Tibet and also its largest city. The Barkhor Road extends for eight hundred metres around the Jokhang Temple and nearby Tsuklakhang Square. For the faithful a visit to the Jokhang Temple is the highlight of a long and arduous pilgrimage and the Dalai Lama once sat in its inner courtyard during the monks’ annual final examination, which was also a splendid festive event. On the other side of the Chakpori, a small mountain opposite Potala, is the seldom visited Sang Gya Thong Ku Temple that is somewhat hidden away and therefore off the tourist trail. This ‘temple of a thousand images of god’ is nevertheless very popular among devout Buddhists and is a place of silent prayer. The Yarlung Valley is full of history such as possessing the oldest field in Tibet, as well as the oldest village that is located at the foot of the country’s oldest fortress, Yom Bu La Khang, the rock palace of the country’s first mystic king. One of the largest monuments in Tibetan architecture is the unique Kumbum Chörten, a three-dimensional mandala that can be entered. Eyes decorate the upper part of the Stupa. The ritual walkabout begins on the lowest level with simple deities then follows the entire Pantheon of Tibet, immortalised in both sculptures and wall paintings. Despite Chinese influence, Tibet is still a religiously devout country with a fascinating monastery culture and amazing natural scenery. Tashi Delek! Why is Tibet Important to China:
Before 1959, the present area of the Tibet Autonomous Region was governed by the government of Tibet (headed by the Dalai Lama). But, today, Tibet is part of China. Tibet is the second-largest province of China by area. The Communist government of China believe that Tibet is their territory and "reclaimed" at the end of its civil war. Here is several reason why Tibet is important to China.
First, Tibet's strategic significant of China's geopolitical. As we know, Tibet serving as a buffer region between China and India. Control of Tibet gave China a boundary with Pakistan, and access to the Arabian Sea. Tibet would also have threatened Beijing's access to Xinjiang. Tibet is a vital link between China, south and central Asia.
Second, Tibet's natural energy resources. According to the Ministry of Water Resources and the China State Power Group, The Tibet has 448.2 billion cubic meters of water. Tibet producing approximately 200 million kw of natural hydro energy annually, or about 30 percent of China's total. Tibet also rich in geothermal, solar and wind energy. More than 100 sites in Tibet have good geothermal energy reserves.
Third, Tibet's mineral resources. Since 1999, Chinese geologists have discovered more than 600 new sites of copper, iron, lead and zinc ore deposits on Tibet. 11 mineral reserves including chromium, iron, lithium, copper and boron rank first-fifth in China. China ships its own experts and workers to Tibet to remove these resources. The China-Tibet railroad is allowing for faster extraction of iron, copper, natural gas, and oil from Tibet.
Fourth, forestry in Tibet. Tibet has one of the oldest forest reserves in central Asia. As we know, southern, eastern and southeastern parts of Tibet have alpine, temperate,sub-tropical and even tropical forests. With forest coverage stands at 9.8% of the area, Tibet being one of China's biggest forest areas. Tibet has one of the greatest resources of the economic plants in use of making fabrics, spices, food and paper, etc.
Fifth, Tibet's tourism. Tourism in Tibet is a large part of China's business interest here. Tibet is home to the Buddhist and the area is picturesque and old. Thats why, Tibet is interesting for tourist. In recent years Tibet's tourism has expanded rapidly, especially after the finish of Qingzang Railway in July 2006. Unfortunately, spirituality, now, mixes with commercialism in Tibet. Usually, young monks running up to tourist, and asking for money.
Ironically, according to a new UN report on the quality of life of the Tibetan people indicates that Tibetans are virtually at the bottom of the economic and social ladder. Most of the economic benefits from Tibet go to migrant Han Chinese. Tibet still remains one of China's poorest spots.

Los prisioneros sufrieron crueles torturas y en cuarenta años de represiones un millón y medio de tibetanos han muerto como consecuencia directa de la invasión.

Sie bilden die Lebensgrundlage der Bergnomaden und versorgen sie mit Milch und Fleisch, das frisch, getrocknet oder als Wurst verzehrt wird. Die Aufgaben sind zwischen Männern und Frauen klar verteilt: Die Männer schlachten das Vieh, und die Frauen stellen Butter her, die sie in Lhasa auf dem Butter-Markt verkaufen. Der Markt ist riesig und das Angebot aufgrund der großen Nachfrage enorm. So sind hier natürlich auch die vier tibetischen Schätze im Angebot: Schwarztee, Tsampa (geröstetes Getreide, vor allem Gerste), Yak- oder Schafsfleisch sowie Butter stellen in jedem Haushalt eine wichtige Energiequelle dar.
Weiter führt die Reise in ein tibetisches Kloster, in dem 800 Mönche leben und in dem Wein aus gegärter Gerste hergestellt wird. Im Gegensatz zu Lhasa, einer mit jedem Komfort des 21. Dessen Fleisch weist aufgrund seiner ungewöhnlichen Ernährung, die aus unterschiedlichen Pflanzen, Früchten und eben Ginseng besteht, besondere Qualitätsmerkmale auf. Tibet will further boost tourism industry by improving its infrastructure construction and promoting its unique natural and cultural tourism resources. Tourism is the pillar industry for the Chinese region. Official figures show, in 1980, only about 3,500 people visited Tibet. For centuries it was a dream destination for scientists, adventurers and missionaries and, once almost inaccessible, it was a blossoming yet hidden kingdom. Lhasa, the ‘holy city’ and ‘place of the gods’ is the capital of Tibet and also its largest city.The Jokhang Temple was originally built as a shrine for a special Buddha statue. In the seventh century the statue was a valuable wedding gift from the Chinese Emperor to Princess Wen Chen who had it transported to Lhasa. Around seven kilometres west of Lhasa’s city centre is the old summer residence of various former Dalai Lamas. The Norbuling Ka, Garden Of Gems, has been deserted since the end of the 1950’s because in 1959 the last Dalai Lama was forced into exile by the Chinese. A pilgrim trail leads up to Drepung Gonba that was built in 1416 by a scholar of Tsongkhapa who was the founder of the Gelug Order. The Gelug Academy is the earliest of the four main doctrines of Tibetan Buddhism and the followers of this order are also known as Yellow Caps. China's commemorative celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region commenced Tuesday morning in front of the Potala Palace in Lhasa with the participation of over 20,000 Tibetan people from all walks of life.
A 65-member Central Government Delegation led by China's top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng attended the ceremony followed by a colorful parade of over 6,000 people and nine decorated floats.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chinese Vice-Premier and member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Liu Yandong read a telegram of congratulations jointly sent by the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), Standing Committee of National People's Congress, State Council, National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the Central Military Commission.
Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee unveiled the congratulatory plaque presented by the Central Government Delegation at the ceremony.
The plague bears the inscription by Xi Jinping of the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, which reads "Strengthen national unity and build a beautiful Tibet".
Yu also made a speech, congratulating the founding of the autonomous region on September 1, 1965, after the establishment of the regional People's Congress and the local legislature through elections.

China's tyranny & oppression on the people of Tibet continues, even as it expands its global footprint, threatening the peace & stability of the regions it has made its presence felt. In order to suppress rebellion & legitimate aspiration of freedoms of indigenous Tibetans, the Communist Party of China has been artificially relocating Han Chinese from mainland China and re-settling them in occupied-Tibet, thereby forcing a change of demography in the region. As a result of such large-scale settlement of people, Tibetans are on way to becoming minority in their own land. This is causing the rich, indigenous Tibetan culture & practices to slowly recede from daily life in Tibet, being replaced by that followed by Han Chinese.
With an expanding military, smaller neighboring countries are feeling the heat of China's hegemonic intentions, vise-a-vis its territorial claims over regions it fancies but currently rightfully & legitimately administered by other countries.

The length of optical cable has doubled in five years to reach 114,000 kilometers.
About 1.87 million households, or 59 percent of the total, are able to use the Internet.
The plateau region is known as "the roof of the world" because its average altitude is over 4,000 meters. Building telecommunications infrastructure is difficult and costly.
Telecom operators lowered Internet costs in Tibet in 2015, boosting e-commerce.
The remote Ngari Prefecture is one of the most sparsely populated places in the world. People in the prefecture's Tsochen County started doing e-commerce in 2014, to sell Tibetan incense, beef and cashmere products.
The region will expand its 4G network in 2016.

In the first eight months of this year, Tibet received 14.3 million tourists, generating three billion U.S. dollars in revenue.

Tourism revenue accounts for over 20 percent of the region's GDP.
With about one tenth of Tibet's 3.1 million people living under the poverty line, the regional government aims at creating more jobs and improving people's livelihood by promoting tourism.
The autonomous region expects to attract more travelers from south Asia by tapping into the "Belt and Road" initiative.

The Mekong is a trans-boundary river in Southeast Asia. It is the world's 12th-longest river and the 7th-longest in Asia. Its estimated length is 4,350 km (2,703 mi), and it drains an area of 795,000 km2 (307,000 sq mi), discharging 457 km3 (110 cu mi) of water annually.
From the Tibetan Plateau this river runs through China's Yunnan province, Burma (Myanmar), Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. In 1995, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam established the Mekong River Commission to assist in the management and coordinated use of the Mekong's resources. In 1996 China and Burma (Myanmar) became "dialogue partners" of the MRC and the six countries now work together within a cooperative framework.
The extreme seasonal variations in flow and the presence of rapids and waterfalls in this river have made navigation difficult. The river is a major trading route linking China’s southwestern province of Yunnan to Laos, Burma (Myanmar) and Thailand to the south, an important trade route between western China and Southeast Asia.
Course
=========
The Mekong rises as the Za Qu and soon becomes known as the Lancang (Lantsang) in the "Three Rivers Source Area" on the Tibetan Plateau in the Sanjiangyuan National Nature Reserve; the reserve protects the headwaters of, from north to south, the Yellow (Huang He), the Mekong, and the Yangtze Rivers.[3] It flows through the Tibetan Autonomous Region and then southeast into Yunnan Province, and then through the Three Parallel Rivers Area in the Hengduan Mountains, along with the Yangtze to its east and the Salween River (Nujiang in Chinese) to its west.
The Mekong then meets the tripoint of China, Burma (Myanmar) and Laos. From there it flows southwest and forms the border of Burma and Laos for about 100 kilometres (62 mi) until it arrives at the tripoint of Burma, Laos, and Thailand. This is also the point of confluence between the Ruak River (which follows the Thai-Burma border) and the Mekong. The area of this tripoint is sometimes termed the Golden Triangle, although the term also refers to the much larger area of those three countries that is notorious as a drug producing region.
From the Golden Triangle tripoint, the Mekong turns southeast to briefly form the border of Laos with Thailand. It then turns east into the interior of Laos, flowing first east and then south for some 400 kilometres (250 mi) before meeting the border with Thailand again. Once more, it defines the Laos-Thailand border for some 850 kilometres (530 mi) as it flows first east, passing in front of the capital of Laos, Vientiane, then turns south. A second time, the river leaves the border and flows east into Laos soon passing the city of Pakse. Thereafter, it turns and runs more or less directly south, crossing into Cambodia.
At Phnom Penh the river is joined on the right bank by the river and lake system the Tonlé Sap. When the Mekong is low, the Tonle Sap is a tributary; water flows from the lake and river into the Mekong. When the Mekong floods, the flow reverses; the floodwaters of the Mekong flow up the Tonle Sap.
Immediately after the Sap River joins the Mekong by Phnom Penh, the Bassac River branches off the right (west) bank. The Bassac River is the first and main distributary of the Mekong; thus, this is the beginning of the Mekong Delta. The two rivers, the Bassac to the west and the Mekong to the east, enter Vietnam very soon after this. In Vietnam, the Bassac is called the Hậu River (Sông Hậu or Hậu Giang); the main, eastern, branch of the Mekong is called the Tiền River or Tiền Giang. In Vietnam, distributaries of the eastern (main, Mekong) branch include the Mỹ Tho River, the Ba Lai River, the Hàm Luông River, and the Cổ Chiên River.
