Jasmin St. Claire

Jasmin St. Claire (born Rhea Alexandra DeVlugt; October 23, 1972) is an American former pornographic actress. She is also known for her work as a professional wrestling personality, most notably for ECW. She has made appearances in the world of professional wrestling and such films as Communication Breakdown and National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2. Currently, she works as a heavy metal VJ for Los Angeles and Metal's Darkside webshow and dvdzine.

Early life and education

St. Claire was born Rhea Alexandra DeVlugt on October 23, 1972 in Saint Croix, an American Virgin Island. She is an American of Brazilian and Dutch descent.

Film career

Among her porn films, St. Claire is known for her appearance in World's Biggest Gang Bang 2, a 1996 sequel to World's Biggest Gang Bang, in which she is advertised as performing a record-breaking 300 sex acts with 300 men in a 24-hour period. St. Claire later described the video as "among the biggest cons ever pulled off in the porn business," with merely about 30 men "strategically placed and filmed," only ten of whom were actually able to perform sexually on camera.

Howard Stern

Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio and television personality, producer, author, actor, and photographer. He is best known as the host of The Howard Stern Show, his long-running radio show which gained popularity when it was nationally syndicated on terrestrial radio from 1986 to 2005 before its move to Sirius XM Radio in 2006. Stern first wished to be on the radio at five years of age. He landed his first radio jobs while at Boston University—WTBU, the campus station, and WNTN in Newton, Massachusetts. From 1976 to 1982, Stern developed his on-air personality through morning positions at WRNW in Briarcliff Manor, New York, WCCC in Hartford, Connecticut, WWWW in Detroit, Michigan, and WWDC in Washington, D.C. Stern worked afternoons at WNBC in New York City from 1982 until his firing in 1985.

In 1985, Stern began a 20-year run at WXRK in New York City, where his show was syndicated to 60 markets and attracted 20 million listeners. Stern won numerous awards, including Billboard’s Nationally Syndicated Air Personality of the Year eight times. Stern became one of the highest paid radio figures after signing a five-year deal with Sirius in 2004 worth $500 million. In recent years, Stern took up photography and has had work featured in Hamptons and WHIRL magazines. From 2012 to 2015, he served as a judge on America's Got Talent.

Vince Russo

Vincent James "Vince" Russo (born January 24, 1961) is an American writer, wrestling pundit, and author, known for his work in the professional wrestling industry. He is notable for his tenures with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Russo occasionally made appearances as an on-screen authority figure, and professional wrestler, in WCW and TNA.

During an in-ring career in the early 2000s, Russo became a self-booked one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and scored televised singles victories over future WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and Booker T (the latter to claim his world title). Never pinned or submitted, Russo has only one recorded loss: a 2003 tag team match in which his partner, A.J. Styles, yielded the pinfall.

Early life

Russo grew up in Farmingville, New York and graduated from the University of Southern Indiana (then known as Indiana State University Evansville) in 1983 with a degree in journalism. He worked for the school newspaper The Shield as an assistant sports editor and later as editor-in-chief.

Shoot (professional wrestling)

A shoot in professional wrestling is any unplanned, unscripted or real-life occurrence within a wrestling event. The name does not originate from "shooting in" for a takedown, as in amateur wrestling, but rather, it is a carny term shortened from "straight shooting" which originally referred to a gun in a carnival target shooting game which did not have its sights fixed (terminology such as this reflecting the professional wrestling industry's roots in traveling carnivals). This term has come to mean a legit attack or fight in professional wrestling and its meaning has broadened to include unscripted events in general. The opposite of a shoot is a work.

Occurrences

Professional wrestling is staged entertainment rather than a sports competition. As such, virtually everything in pro wrestling is worked (a part of the show), and shoots rarely occur. Shoots in general are against the nature of the business, similar to an actor ad-libbing or dropping character during a performance. Performers who shoot during a wrestling event are often punished (often by lower pay or relegation to opening bouts) or even fired, since it is thought that they cannot be trusted to act according to the bookers' wishes. Shoots can also occur when wrestlers stop cooperating in a match. This may occur to teach one of the wrestlers "a lesson" for whatever reason.
