In terms of musical pitch, C or Do is the first note of the fixed-Do solfège scale. Its enharmonic is B♯ (B-sharp, His in some European countries), which is by definition a diatonic semitone below C♯.
When the A440 pitch standard is used to tune a musical instrument, Middle C has a frequency around 261.6 Hz. Middle C is designated C4 in scientific pitch notation because of the note's position as the fourth C key on a standard 88-key piano keyboard.
Another system known as scientific pitch assigns a frequency of 256 Hz but, while numerically convenient, this is not used by orchestras. Other note-octave systems, including those used by some makers of digital music keyboards, may refer to Middle C differently. In MIDI, Middle C is note number 60.
The C4 designation is the most commonly recognized in auditory science, and in musical studies it is often used in place of the Helmholtz designation c'.
While the expression "Middle C" is generally clear across instruments and clefs, some musicians naturally use the term to refer to the C note in the middle of their specific instrument's range. C4 may be called "Low C" by someone playing a Western concert flute, which has a higher and narrower playing range than the piano, while C5 (523.251 Hz) would be Middle C. This technically inaccurate practice has led some pedagogues to encourage standardizing on C4 as the definitive Middle C in instructional materials across all instruments.
Middle or The Middle may refer to:
Music theory is the study of the practices and possibilities of music. It generally derives from observation of, and involves hypothetical speculation about how musicians and composers make music. The term also describes the academic study and analysis of fundamental elements of music such as pitch, rhythm, harmony, and form, and refers to descriptions, concepts, or beliefs related to music. Because of the ever-expanding conception of what constitutes music (see Definition of music), a more inclusive definition could be that music theory is the consideration of any sonic phenomena, including silence, as it relates to music.
The present article is about music theory properly speaking, i.e. about theories, speculations and hypotheses made about the various aspects or music. It describes the elements of music only insofar as they give way to such theories; other informations about these elements will be found in other articles such as Aspect of music and the specific parameters of music described there. Textbooks, especially in the United States of America, often also include under the term "theory" elements of musical acoustics, considerations of musical notation, techniques of (often tonal) composition (Harmony and Counterpoint), etc., which will not be dealt with as such here, but only as they were the subject of theories and hypotheses.

In this video I cover the subject of the 'Chromatic Scale' or, for want of a better wording 'the alphabetical list of 12 note names'. I draw up a piano diagram and show what the 'Chromatic Scale' is (Chroma means colour by the way. Colour of musical notes you could say). I cover the subject of 'Middle C' and, 'Concert Pitch' (The first A above middle C that's 440Hz) too. I later go on to show the 'Chromatic Scale' expressed on the Piano then, on the 5th string of the Guitar. I'll try to edit the parts where I waffle on and repeat! It's because I'm ad libbing without a plan! (I tried to use Youtubes 'Edit' function but couldn't work out how to use it! It's a rather poor version). Anyway, if you derive something useful then, it was worth it! I hope you share it and consider giving ...

A432 hz, also know as scientific pitch, philosophical pitch, Sauveur pitch or Verdi tuning, is an absolute concert pitch standard which is based on middle C (C4) being set to 256 Hz rather than 261.62 Hz, making it approximately 37.594 cents lower than the common A440 pitch standard. It was first proposed in 1713 by French physicist Joseph Sauveur, promoted briefly by Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi in the 19th century, then advocated by the Schiller Institute beginning in the 1980s. Scientific pitch is not used by concert orchestras but is still sometimes favored in scientific writings for the convenience of all the octaves of C being an exact round number in the binary system when expressed in hertz (symbol Hz). The octaves of C remain a whole number in Hz all the way down to 1 Hz in bot...

Open door, so I walk inside
Close my eyes, find my place to hide
And I shake as I take it in
Let the show begin
Open my eyes, just to have them close again
Well on my way, but on my way to where I've been
It swallows me as it takes me in its fog
I twist away as I give this world the nod
Open door, so I walk inside
Close my eyes, find my place to hide
And I shake as I take it in
Let the show begin
Open my eyes, just to have them closed once again
Don't want control
As it takes me down and down and down again
Is that the Moon? Or just a light that lights this dead-end street?
Is that you there? Or just another demon that I meet?
The higher you are
The farther you fall
The longer the walk
The farther you crawl
My body, my temple
This temple, it tilts
Step into the house that Jack built
The higher you are
The farther you fall
The longer the walk
The farther you crawl
My body, my temple
This temple, it tilts
Yes, this is the house that Jack built
Open door, yes, I walk inside
Swallow me so the pain subsides
And I shake as I take the sin
Let the show begin
The higher you are
The farther you fall
The longer the walk
The farther you crawl
My body, my temple
This temple, it tilts
Yes, this is the house that Jack built
The higher you are
The farther you fall
The longer the walk
The farther you crawl
My body, my temple
This temple, it tilts
Yes, I am, I am, I am
Open my eyes
It swallows me
Is that you there
I twist away
Away
Away
