Toulouse (UK /tuːˈluːz/;French pronunciation: [tu.luz] locally: [tuˈluzə]; Occitan: Tolosa [tuˈluzɔ], Latin: Tolosa) is the capital city of the southwestern French department of Haute-Garonne, as well as of the Midi-Pyrénées region. It lies on the banks of the River Garonne, 150 kilometres (93 miles) from the Mediterranean Sea, 230 km (143 mi) from the Atlantic Ocean, and 680 km (420 mi) from Paris. With 1,250,251 inhabitants at the January 2011 census, the Toulouse metropolitan area is the fourth-largest in France, after Paris (12.3 million), Lyon (2.2 million), and Marseille (1.7 million).
Toulouse is the centre of the European aerospace industry, with the headquarters of Airbus, the Galileo positioning system, the SPOT satellite system, the Airbus Group (former EADS), ATR and the Aerospace Valley.
The city also hosts the European headquarters of Intel and CNES's Toulouse Space Centre (CST), the largest space centre in Europe.Thales Alenia Space, and Astrium Satellites, Airbus Group's satellite system subsidiary, also have a significant presence in Toulouse. Its world-renowned university is one of the oldest in Europe (founded in 1229) and, with more than 103,000 students, is the fourth-largest university campus of France after Paris, Lyon and Lille.
"I Will Follow" is a song by rock band U2. It is the opening track from their debut album, Boy, and it was released as the album's second single, in October 1980. Bono wrote the lyrics to "I Will Follow" in tribute to his mother who died when he was 14 years old.
"I Will Follow" is the only song that U2 have performed on every tour since they released their first album. The song was U2's first music video, directed by Meiert Avis in Dublin, Ireland. The song was issued five times, first in 1981 on a 7" vinyl in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, second on the same format in the United States and Canada, third in the Netherlands in 1982 with a track from 1981's October, in 1983 with a live version of the song, and finally in 2011 with a live version of the song recorded at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival.
"I Will Follow" was written three weeks before U2 began recording Boy. U2 singer Bono has said that he wrote the song from his mother's perspective and that it was about the unconditional love a mother has for her child. His mother died following her own father's funeral when Bono was fourteen, which the singer says plunged him into emotional turmoil for the next few years. The song features the lyrics "his mother takes him by his hand" and "If you walk away, I will follow." Bono has also described the song's lyrics as a 14 year old boy's suicide note, wanting to follow his deceased mother into the grave.

Nick Rotteveel van Gotum (born 6 January 1989), better known by his stage name Nicky Romero, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He has worked with, and received support from DJs, such as Tiësto, Fedde le Grand, Sander van Doorn, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Armand Van Helden, Avicii and Hardwell. He currently ranks No. 18 on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll. He is known for his viral hit song "Toulouse", as well as for having a number one hit single in the UK with "I Could Be the One" with Avicii. Romero has been the target of public ridicule doubting his production and DJ mixing abilities.
Nick Rotteveel was born and raised in Amerongen, the Netherlands. He moved to Kingston, Ontario, Canada for a year, and later moved back to the Netherlands to continue his education where he did his final semesters in France.
School was never his interest, so after graduating he worked as a bartender for a while and also started producing music. Eventually, he was signed to his first label Once Records, which went on to release the tracks "Privilege" and "Qwerty". Shortly after the track entitled "Funktion One" was released. From that moment on everything rapidly changed. Dutch DJ/producer Madskillz signed "Funktion One" to Azucar (from Madskillz and Gregor Salto) and later added "Hear My Sound". In 2009 he remixed Sidney Samson and Tony Cha Cha's track "Get on the Floor" and a bootleg for David Guetta entitled "When Love Takes Over". Both tracks got a lot of publicity where Ministry of Sound contacted him to do some remixes on their label. About a few hundred movies came up on YouTube from DJs who played the Nicky Romero bootleg When Love Takes Over. He also made a remix for the Dirty South track "Alamo".
"I Will" is a song by the Beatles that was released on The Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and features him on lead vocal, guitar, and "vocal bass".
"I Will" was one of the songs worked on by the Beatles and their associates while in Rishikesh, India. Although the music came together fairly easily, the words were worked on in India, and remained unfinished even as recording began back in London.
This quiet song required 67 takes, and George Harrison did not play (during The Beatles sessions, the Beatles often recorded in separate studios). However, the reason for Harrison's absence from the session has never been clarified.
During take 19 of "I Will", McCartney ad-libbed an untitled and uncopyrighted song (referred to as "Can you take me back?" by author Ian MacDonald), a 28-second segment of which ended up on side 4 of the album The Beatles as what MacDonald described as “a sinister introduction to "Revolution 9"”. Also ad-libbed by McCartney was "Los Paranoias", released, together with take 1 of "I Will", in 1996 on Anthology 3.
"Follow You" is a song by the DJ and producer Deniz Koyu and the singer Wynter Gordon.
The music video was released on 14 September 2012. It has received over 1 million views on YouTube.

Toulouse Travel Video - Elegantly situated at the confluence of the Canal du Midi and the River Garonne, the vibrant southern city of Toulouse is often known as La Ville Rose, a reference to the distinctive hot-pink stone used to build many of its buildings. Busy, buzzy and bustling with students, this riverside dame has a 2000-year history, but it's a city with its feet very much in the future: it's been a hub for the aerospace industry since the 1930s, and is leading France's drive towards cleaner, greener energies. It's also a city that lives or dies by the fortunes of its rugby team, Stade Toulousain (known simply as 'les rouges et noirs', the reds and blacks), who have won the European Cup a record four times, most recently in 2010. With a thriving cafe and cultural scene, a wealth o...
Take a tour of Canal du Midi in Toulouse, France -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. Flowing for 150 miles through the south of France is the breathtakingly serene Canal du Midi. The origin of the name comes from an Occitan phrase that means the canal of the two seas. This is because the Canal du Midi joins with the Canal de Garonne to connect the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. The canal flows through the city of Toulouse and has a series of 91 locks. There are many paths along its bank that allow walkers and bikers to enjoy the canal along with boaters. The canal is lined with trees for much of its length, making it an incredibly scenic place to spend a day, or several.

A backwards glance at a wonderful holiday in Toulouse. We thoroughly recommend a visit to this charming city and wonderful people. Lots to see and do...often for free! Fairly flat and lots of good, purpose-built cycle routes...even hooks on trains to hang them on. Friendly locals and helpful tourist guides who didn't laugh too much when I tried out my very rusty French.
