Quality, Fully Equipped, Self Contained Cottage
Dove Cottage has a 106 cm Samsung HD plasma TV with DVD player, and an iPod dock with line in to play all types of mp3 players. It is heated by a reverse cycle heat pump, has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Outside on the deck is a Weber baby Q & ice bucket for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. Private, absolute riverfront, walk to restaurant's and beaches
Dove Cottage is the only one bedroom accommodation in Orford that is true waterfront,nestled on the edge of the Prosser River while still only a short, easy walk to all the amenities Orford has to offer.
As well as the attractions on offer in Orford such as

* Beaches
* Cafes & Restaurants
* Golf
* State forest bush walks
* Fishing
There are many other attractions near by such as:
A ferry ride across the Mercury Passage from Triabunna to Maria Island - rich in convict history & stunning scenery
Or a scenic drive up the Tasman Highway to the seaside towns of Swansea, Bicheno & Coles Bay
Only 1hr to Hobart where you can visit Salamanca Market each Saturday or take in the view from the top of Mt Wellington

Beautiful location, not cleanCottage is in the perfect location, with the perfect view. Great food options nearby. Ideal base for Maria Island day trip. Only disappointment was the cottage was not cleaned prior to arrival (bed not made, towels still wet, dishes/floors dirty). Obtaining a refund was possible, but owner would not discuss what the refund would be to ensure I was happy. A disappointing end to such a beautiful stay.
