Joe's exit was more emotional this time around, wasn't he?
What you didn't see:
A lot of the big reaction shots from tribal – the excited faces/the jury laughter – didn’t actually happen when Joe was voted out like the episode presented. Those reactions were in response to the argument between Joe and Abi. It was a continuation from the previous week’s tribal council, in which Joe had apparently told Abi that nobody liked her, and a similar argument took place at this week’s tribal. Joe was trying to tell Abi how she could play a better game and she responded “I’m not going to take advice from a 26 year old who sleeps on his parent’s couch.” That is the line that caused most of those big reactions, and probably why in an interview with ET Canada, Joe said after tribal council he “…wanted to punch Abi in the face.”

Keith continued to be clueless until the end. It was clearly going south and he was obviously the next target. He was clueless leaving the final six tribal, “Go figure that out!”, and was still kind of clueless going into his last tribal.
“I feel like I’m in a coffin and I got about three nails left til they put me six feet down.” That line pretty much sums up Keith’s game this season. He has been hanging on. He is an outsider. He has been fighting from within a coffin – i.e he wasn’t playing the game but was along for the ride until the real players put the final nails in. Keith had just been waiting for that tuk tuk to come and drive him off into the sunset.
His story was, the guy who was just along for the ride and made it a little more enjoyable for us and the others.

The journey of Abi-Maria Gomes finally came to an end and she went out exactly like she came in.
The episode was even titled after her own quote: “villains have more fun”. Abi was portrayed as a villain throughout her second chance.

Blinded by his obsession to leave a mark on this game, he abandoned all of his traits that made him a good player the first time around:
He lost his read on people. He couldn’t identify that Spencer, his ally for many votes, had now flipped on him.
He created an unnecessary vote split that neutered his advantage and cost his side the numbers. Stephen’s story arc was that of the Know It All who set his goals so high, sky high, staring into the bright sun, that he lost sight of the game. The editors would like you to take a second and *inhale* “marinate in it.”

Savage called others “disgusting” for scheming and lying; despite this being something Savage himself had done with Spencer and was planning to do with Stephen (he was even given Psycho serial killer music cues for his scheming). He was shown to be a hypocrite. Yet even in his hypocritical scheming Savage couldn’t get what he wanted, as Jeremy put an end to his plans. “As a lawyer, I pleaded my case, and I’m used to kind of getting what I want, and I didn’t, so…I’m disappointed.”
He was also laughed at by Wentworth at the immunity challenge when he lost and flipped off the ball; a moment that was perfect foreshadowing of Wentworth taking him out later that night at tribal council. He was also laughed at by Abi upon leaving tribal council, when again, he lost and this time flipped off Abi. Savage became a joke.
The two lawyers flipped the bird at the same tribal council. Is that something they teach in law school?

Kimmi started the finale episode talking about how it was “…the perfect opportunity to swoop in and make my dreams happen.” Her dream of course was to get the end which she told us in the premiere. However, like we have stated the past couple of weeks, it was all too little too late for Kimmi.

The episode tried to tell us that eliminating Kelly Wiglesworth was a big move. After meditating for eight episodes we were suddenly supposed to believe she had this stupendous social game. Whether Wiglesworth was a big move or not though is mostly irrelevant because Stephen and the edit sold it as such.
While it wasn’t the most boring boot episode in history, judging by the fan reaction to Episode 9, it was probably the most boring boot of the season so far.

She was in a strong position in the Hunahpu tribe until the tribe switch, which sent her to the rival Coyopa tribe to be with her father. Believed to be a bigger threat than her father Dale, she was voted out. Voted by the public to return in Cambodia, Wentworth assumed a more aggressive approach to the game, finding and successfully using a Hidden Immunity Idol to blindside Andrew Savage. -

“I feel like I’m in a coffin and I got about three nails left til they put me six feet down.” That line pretty much sums up Keith’s game this season. He has been hanging on. He is an outsider. He has been fighting from within a coffin – i.e he wasn’t playing the game but was along for the ride until the real players put the final nails in. Keith had just been waiting for that tuk tuk to come and drive him off into the sunset.
His story was, the guy who was just along for the ride and made it a little more enjoyable for us and the others.

Keith continued to be clueless until the end. It was clearly going south and he was obviously the next target. But he didn’t say anything and he didn’t attempt to make a play with the fake idol Wentworth had made him. He was clueless leaving the final six tribal, “Go figure that out!”, and was still kind of clueless going into his last tribal.

Whether Wiglesworth was a big move or not though is mostly irrelevant because Stephen and the edit sold it as such.
