Radio, Television Song Festival kicks off in Tirana

TIRANA, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- The 52nd edition of the Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH) Song Festival, the most important musical event in the country, unveiled its curtain on Thursday.

A total of 16 singers will compete this year for the first prize at the three-day Song Festival and a song will be picked to represent Albania in next Eurovision Song Contest.

Danish singer Emmelie Charlotte-Victoria de Forest, who won the Eurovision 2013 with the song "Only Teardrops", and Elhaida Dani, the winner of the "The Voice of Italy", will presented as special guest at this year's event.
