When a villain calls himself The Riddler, the least you expect is some quality riddles, but it's not clear Riddler even knows what a riddle is. See the video above for sample non-riddles.
By the time we get to Arkham Knight, Riddler has given up altogether on challenging Batman with puzzles, electing instead to build a bunch of ludicrously elaborate racetracks that only someone with some kind of rocket-powered car would be able to complete. That's not a riddle either, Eddie.
Then he managers to create advanced Batman-proof robots to bring down the Bat, but fails to foresee a scenario where someone other than Batman fights his Batman-proof Riddler-bots. Catwoman, for instance. He also created a Catwoman-proof robot, which he only uses when Batman is around.
Why not just make one robot, that is impervious to both Batman and Catwoman, then let it beat them to death in a locked room? I guess that's why I'm not a Riddle-themed supervillain. That and I know how riddles work.

It’s Monday which means it’s time for the weekend box office report brought to you by our friends at AMC Theaters. For the third week in a row, Disney’s Zootopia takes the No 1 spot bringing in $38.1 million dollars officially crossing $200 million domestic and closing in on $600 million worldwide. Zootopia beat two new releases this weekend. The first, Allegiant: The Divergent Series pulled in $29 million for the No 2 spot with the other release, Miracles from Heaven, taking the No. 3 spot with $15 million. 10 Cloverfield Lane was at the No 4 spot with $12.5 million and Deadpool took the No 5 spot with $8 million.
On Friday, we learned that Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien sustained serious injuries while filming a stunt for the final film in the trilogy, The Death Cure. Conflicting reports as to exactly how O’Brien got hurt were reported, with sources saying he either fell off of a train or was run over by a car. On Saturday however, original Maze Runner author James Dashner took to Twitter with an update saying that Dylan was hurt but that his injuries were not life threatening. He expects Dylan will make a full recovery. We here at Collider Video hope Dylan has a speedy recovery.
THR is reporting that long time Steven Spielberg collaborator David Koepp has been hired to write the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise for Disney and Lucasfilm. The Jurassic Park and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull scribe will work with Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy on the direction of the script which will see Harrison Ford reprising his role as the famous Archeologist. This latest sequel is unique in that George Lucas, who came up with the story ideas behind the previous four Indiana Jones films, will not be involved. Production could get underway as soon as next summer with a release date set for July 19, 2019.

With Zack Snyder staying busy in the world of DC with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Justice League Part One, fans of the 300 franchise have wondered if there would ever be more movies in the series. In an exclusive interview with our very own Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub on Collider.com, Snyder confirmed that he has had discussions with Warner Bros to keep the 300 films ongoing, saying they've been talking a lot about sort of different incarnations of 300. Snyder then mentioned the Revolutionary War, the Alamo, and a battle in China as current concepts they are discussing as possible movies in the 300 style of storytelling.
Steve Weintraub was also able to speak with Zack Snyder about some of the villains in the Batman v Superman, specifically asking if the Joker was close to making an appearance in the movie. Snyder confirmed that not only was the Joker close to being in the movie but that another Batman villain, the Riddler, was also close to making an appearance. Snyder explained that while working on the script with screenwriter Chris Terrio their “mythological presence” was felt but that he didn’t want to get his eye too far off the ball because he needed to spend time on the central conflict of Batman and Superman.

The Riddler is a fictional character, a comic book supervillain published by DC Comics. He is an enemy of Batman. Created by Bill Finger and Dick Sprang, the character first appeared in Detective Comics #140 (1948).
The character has appeared frequently in Batman media. In live action, he was portrayed by Frank Gorshin and John Astin in the 1960s television series, as well as by Jim Carrey in the 1995 film Batman Forever. In animation, he has been portrayed by Michael Bell, John Glover, Robert Englund, Dave Franco and John Michael Higgins. In 2009, the Riddler was ranked as IGN's 59th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time.
The Riddler is obsessed with riddles, puzzles, and word games. He delights in forewarning both Batman and the police of his capers by sending them complex clues. With this self-conscious use of a gimmick, the Riddler's crimes are flamboyant and ostentatious. The character is often depicted as wearing a domino mask either with a green suit and bowler hat, or a green unitard with question mark prints. A black, green, or purple question mark serves as his visual motif.

Captain America is a fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 (cover-dated March 1941), from Marvel Comics' 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. As of 2007, an estimated 210 million copies of "Captain America" comic books had been sold in 75 countries. For nearly all of the character's publication history, Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.
An intentionally patriotic creation who was often depicted fighting the Axis powers of World War II, Captain America was Timely Comics' most popular character during the wartime period. After the war ended, the character's popularity waned and he disappeared by the 1950s aside from an ill-fated revival in 1953. Captain America was reintroduced during the Silver Age of comics when he was revived from suspended animation by the superhero team the Avengers in The Avengers #4 (March 1964). Since then, Captain America has often led the team, as well as starring in his own series.

For the third week in a row, Disney’s Zootopia takes the No 1 spot bringing in $38.1 million dollars officially crossing $200 million domestic and closing in on $600 million worldwide. Zootopia beat two new releases this weekend. The first, Allegiant: The Divergent Series pulled in $29 million for the No 2 spot with the other release, Miracles from Heaven, taking the No. 3 spot with $15 million. 10 Cloverfield Lane was at the No 4 spot with $12.5 million and Deadpool took the No 5 spot with $8 million. On Friday, we learned that Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien sustained serious injuries while filming a stunt for the final film in the trilogy, The Death Cure. Conflicting reports as to exactly how O’Brien got hurt were reported, with sources saying he either fell off of a train or was run over by a car. On Saturday however, original Maze Runner author James Dashner took to Twitter with an update saying that Dylan was hurt but that his injuries were not life threatening. He expects Dylan will make a full recovery. We here at Collider Video hope Dylan has a speedy recovery. THR is reporting that long time Steven Spielberg collaborator David Koepp has been hired to write the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise for Disney and Lucasfilm. The Jurassic Park and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull scribe will work with Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy on the direction of the script which will see Harrison Ford reprising his role as the famous Archeologist. This latest sequel is unique in that George Lucas, who came up with the story ideas behind the previous four Indiana Jones films, will not be involved. Production could get underway as soon as next summer with a release date set for July 19, 2019. BUY OR SELL With Zack Snyder staying busy in the world of DC with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Justice League Part One, fans of the 300 franchise have wondered if there would ever be more movies in the series. In an exclusive interview with our very own Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub on Collider.com, Snyder confirmed that he has had discussions with Warner Bros to keep the 300 films ongoing, saying they've been talking a lot about sort of different incarnations of 300. Snyder then mentioned the Revolutionary War, the Alamo, and a battle in China as current concepts they are discussing as possible movies in the 300 style of storytelling. Steve Weintraub was also able to speak with Zack Snyder about some of the villains in the Batman v Superman, specifically asking if the Joker was close to making an appearance in the movie. Snyder confirmed that not only was the Joker close to being in the movie but that another Batman villain, the Riddler, was also close to making an appearance. Snyder explained that while working on the script with screenwriter Chris Terrio their “mythological presence” was felt but that he didn’t want to get his eye too far off the ball because he needed to spend time on the central conflict of Batman and Superman. It’s Monday which means it’s time for the weekend box office report brought to you by our friends at AMC Theaters. For the third week in a row, Disney’s Zootopia takes the No 1 spot bringing in $38.1 million dollars officially crossing $200 million domestic and closing in on $600 million worldwide. Zootopia beat two new releases this weekend. The first, Allegiant: The Divergent Series pulled in $29 million for the No 2 spot with the other release, Miracles from Heaven, taking the No. 3 spot with $15 million. 10 Cloverfield Lane was at the No 4 spot with $12.5 million and Deadpool took the No 5 spot with $8 million.
On Friday, we learned that Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien sustained serious injuries while filming a stunt for the final film in the trilogy, The Death Cure. Conflicting reports as to exactly how O’Brien got hurt were reported, with sources saying he either fell off of a train or was run over by a car. On Saturday however, original Maze Runner author James Dashner took to Twitter with an update saying that Dylan was hurt but that his injuries were not life threatening. He expects Dylan will make a full recovery. We here at Collider Video hope Dylan has a speedy recovery.
THR is reporting that long time Steven Spielberg collaborator David Koepp has been hired to write the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise for Disney and Lucasfilm. The Jurassic Park and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull scribe will work with Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy on the direction of the script which will see Harrison Ford reprising his role as the famous Archeologist. This latest sequel is unique in that George Lucas, who came up with the story ideas behind the previous four Indiana Jones films, will not be involved. Production could get underway as soon as next summer with a release date set for July 19, 2019.

With Zack Snyder staying busy in the world of DC with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Justice League Part One, fans of the 300 franchise have wondered if there would ever be more movies in the series. In an exclusive interview with our very own Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub on Collider.com, Snyder confirmed that he has had discussions with Warner Bros to keep the 300 films ongoing, saying they've been talking a lot about sort of different incarnations of 300. Snyder then mentioned the Revolutionary War, the Alamo, and a battle in China as current concepts they are discussing as possible movies in the 300 style of storytelling.
Steve Weintraub was also able to speak with Zack Snyder about some of the villains in the Batman v Superman, specifically asking if the Joker was close to making an appearance in the movie. Snyder confirmed that not only was the Joker close to being in the movie but that another Batman villain, the Riddler, was also close to making an appearance. Snyder explained that while working on the script with screenwriter Chris Terrio their “mythological presence” was felt but that he didn’t want to get his eye too far off the ball because he needed to spend time on the central conflict of Batman and Superman.
