Tommy Wiseau (/wɪˈzoʊ/) is a director, screenwriter, producer, and actor based in the United States. He is best known for The Room (2003), which has been described by many critics as "one of the worst movies ever made" and has gained cult film status. He also directed the 2004 documentary Homeless in America and the 2015 sitcom The Neighbors.
Wiseau is secretive about his early life. In various interviews he has claimed to have lived in France "a long time ago", asserted that he grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, US, and described having "an entire family" in Chalmette, Louisiana. In interviews following the release of The Room in 2003, Wiseau gave an age indicating that he was born in 1968 or 1969. Actor Greg Sestero claims in his 2013 memoir The Disaster Artist that his brother's girlfriend obtained copies of Wiseau's US immigration papers and found that Wiseau was born "much earlier" than he claimed, in an Eastern Bloc country in the 1950s.
In The Disaster Artist, Sestero asserts that Wiseau intimated to him—admittedly through "fantastical, sad, self-contradictory stories"—that he grew up somewhere in communist Eastern Europe, and as a young adult moved to Strasbourg, France, where he adopted the name Pierre and worked as a restaurant dishwasher. According to Sestero, Wiseau described being wrongfully arrested following a drug raid at a youth hostel, and being traumatised by his treatment by the French police—an experience that led him to arrange passage to America to live with his aunt and uncle in Chalmette, Louisiana. Wiseau subsequently moved to San Francisco, California, where he worked as a street vendor selling toys to tourists near Fisherman's Wharf.

Tommy is a given name that is usually the English diminutive of Thomas. The name also could refer to:
Gregory "Greg" Sestero (born July 15, 1978) is an American actor, model, and author. He is best known for his role as Mark in the 2003 cult film The Room, and for writing the critically acclaimed best selling 2013 book The Disaster Artist about his life and experience making The Room.
Sestero was born in Walnut Creek, California. His mother is of French and Sicilian descent. At the age of 12, he wrote a sequel to the 1990 film Home Alone with a leading role for himself. He submitted the screenplay to Hughes Productions and received a commendatory letter from filmmaker John Hughes. During his junior year of high school, Sestero began modelling, working in locations such as Milan and Paris for designers such as Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre, among others. He returned to the United States to focus on acting, enrolling in the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. He eventually signed on with Hollywood agent Iris Burton, which prompted his eventual move to Los Angeles.
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".
The first film in the series, Star Wars (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope), was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. It was followed by the similarly successful sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983); these three films constitute the original Star Wars trilogy. A prequel trilogy was later released between 1999 and 2005, which received a more mixed reaction from critics and fans, compared to the original trilogy. All seven films were nominated for or won Academy Awards, and were commercial successes, with a combined box office revenue of $4.38 billion, making Star Wars the fourth highest-grossing film series. The series has spawned an extensive media franchise—the Star Wars expanded universe—including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books, resulting in significant development of the series's fictional universe. Star Wars also holds a Guinness World Records title for the "Most successful film merchandising franchise." In 2012, the total value of the Star Wars franchise was estimated at USD $30.7 billion, including box-office receipts as well as profits from their video games and DVD sales.

Of course I’m talking about 2003’s The Room. Well, Wiseau and Sestero are now at it again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair have teamed up for a new film called Best F(r)iends. Sestero wrote the story himself, which stars Wisaeu as a “lonely mortician” who takes Sestero’s character on “a wild journey.” The film was quietly shot in Los Angeles over the summer with Gary Fong serving as the director. They’re hoping for a theatrical release in the near future; as they work out the details, they’ve shared the film’s first trailer.
What a guy. What a hero. Give this man a hand. This is the interview from the DVD version of The Room. It used to be on YouTube but I can't find it anymore. I had to change that since it's one of the best things I've ever seen. (My senior quote is one of the lines from this video. Don't judge me.)

I woke up having the stupidest idea; Tommy Wiseau's The Room, but every time someone says "oh hai ___" it's replaced by we are number one, and 10% faster each time and every time he laughs it's an impersonation by vinny, unless I missed it. and every sex scene or otherwise necessary censorship is replaced by the part of super mario sunshine where vinny was listening to the disaster artist audiobook and you hear "PLeaSE Don'T DO THESE DIsgUsTING thINGS" The scene where Lisa pours vodka and it comes out as whiskey is replaced by Marge krumping and every time Mark makes it painfully obvious that Lisa is cheating, the greatest movie ending ever from Mark's goofy 80's movie period plays and it gets 50% faster each time. and The fight scene with Chris R and Mark is replaced by the flash g...
Vancouver, B.C. Master Class, 1080p Part [1/X] -------------------------------------- Original Footage is about 2hrs roughly. Most of the footage has been cut to benefit Tommy; because you likely care about Tommy and not the other individuals in the shot. (Sorry individuals.) Entire footage was filmed with auto-settings; so mind the fluctuating contrast/brightness, I tried to buffer it the best I could throughout. Part One will most likely be the only part. Laziness prevails.

A behind-the-scenes look at the making of Tommy Wiseau's The Room (2003).
i do not own the vid, i uploaded it as it was deleted
My attempt at cutting Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" into a somewhat serious and straightforward film.
Tears are blazing as torches
Intertwining completely
Everything what is create
The world is burning and on it's remains
Will rise a new unwanted material
Don't help me
Don't pull your hand out
A cold as a crystal and so indifferently
Dreams are drowned, this fair and pure
You are waiting for my end "novissima verba"
But you will hear anything,
My lips are close
I'm quite, but my thoughts are swearing
Flouncing in dark, I can't reach a breath
I hear freighting scream, I laugh at it
