TV Rock

TV Rock was an Australian dance music duo consisting of Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough.

TV Rock entered the mainstream in February 2006 with their hit "Flaunt It" featuring Seany B which reached #1 for 5 weeks and spent 39 weeks in the Australian ARIA Top 50 (31 of those weeks inside the Top 40). TV Rock won the highest selling single and best dance release for "Flaunt It" in the ARIA Music Awards of 2006. TV Rock collaborated with Melbourne dance team Dukes of Windsor for their 3rd single release "The Others" which reached No.10 in Australia in June 2007 and spent 20 weeks inside the Australian Top 50.

Their debut album, Sunshine City, was released on 25 November 2006.

Together, they founded their own dance record label, "Neon Records", which manages fellow Melbournian DJs Dirty South & Denzal Park and singer Zoe Badwi.

In early 2013, Ivan Gough left TV Rock to pursue solo projects.

Bobby Ellsworth

Robert Ellsworth, mainly known as Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth, is the lead vocalist of New Jersey thrash metal band Overkill. He has worked with Overkill since 1980 and has been the lead vocalist of this band since then. Although a bassist, he focuses on vocals in the band.

He also did the vocals for the band The Cursed featuring Dan Lorenzo (Hades and Non Fiction) in 2007.

Personal life

In 1998, Ellsworth was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of nose cancer and underwent immediate surgery. It was caught before it spread.

Ellsworth suffered a focal seizure in Germany in June 2002, right in the middle of the song "Necroshine". Ellsworth commented, "The beauty of a stroke is that you don’t remember. I don’t know what it changed, because I forget how it used to be(laughs). Occasionally I piss my pants when somebody turns a microwave on(laughs). I’m riding my motorcycle. I still swim, I work out. The idea is that when you have a problem, there’s two ways to look at it – you can live in the problem or you can live through the problem. For me, I just lived through it. I thought very soon afterwards if it had actually killed me, I said “Wouldn’t it be something to die in the middle of an Overkill show? (laughs).”

John Corabi

John Corabi is a heavy metal singer and guitarist who has worked with such bands as Angora, The Scream, Mötley Crüe, Union and ESP (both with former Kiss lead guitarist Bruce Kulick), Ratt (as a guitarist), Twenty 4 Seven (with his then Ratt bandmate Bobby Blotzer), Zen Lunatic, Brides of Destruction, and Angel City Outlaws (with his then Ratt bandmates Robbie Crane and Bobby Blotzer, and former Ratt guitarist Keri Kelli, who he replaced in Ratt). He is the current lead singer for The Dead Daisies.

Mötley Crüe

After Mötley Crüe parted ways with lead singer Vince Neil in February 1992, Corabi was hired as his replacement. Bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee stated that the band would benefit from the addition of Corabi's voice and having another musician contribute to the songwriting. Corabi recorded the self-titled Mötley Crüe album in 1994 and the EP Quaternary. Though the music was heavier and more elaborate than the rest of the Mötley Crüe catalog, it did not sell as well as previous releases from the band. During the early stages of the writing of a new album which would become Generation Swine, Mötley Crüe's record label refused to provide funds to record the album unless Vince Neil was let back in the band. Rather than hiring another label, Mötley Crüe acceded to the demand and by 1997 Corabi was replaced by the returning Vince Neil. Many of the songs from the early writing session were used on the album and Corabi is credited on the liner notes for co-writing some of the songs.

Paul Masvidal

Paul Albert Masvidal (born January 20, 1971) is the guitarist, singer and a founding member of the progressive metal band Cynic and previously led the alternative rock band Æon Spoke. As of September 2015, the status of Cynic is in dispute.

Early life

Paul Masvidal was born in Puerto Rico to Cuban-American civic and business leader Raul Masvidal. Masvidal's early days were spent in the Miami area where he studied classical guitar from an early age with Carlos Molina. Guitar teacher Dave Weissbrot was a major influence and spurred Masvidal's love of jazz, Steinberger guitars, and Eastern philosophy; he became an initiate to Kriya Yoga in his late teens and has been a Buddhist practitioner since 2000, although he has more recently gotten in touch with his roots in Judaism. Masvidal met drummer Sean Reinert in 1984 at Gulliver Academy and immediately started jamming with him, forming the pre-Cynic Crypha and Seaweed.

Steve DiGiorgio

Steve DiGiorgio (born November 7, 1967, Waukegan, Illinois) is an American musician.

DiGiorgio has played bass guitar in heavy metal and death metal bands such as Death,Autopsy,Control Denied,Ephel Duath,Obscura, Artension, Faust, Memorain, Painmuseum, Suicide Shift, Soen,Vintersorg,Dragonlord,Iced Earth,Sebastian Bach,Obituary, and is a founding member of Sadus. He is a founding member of the jazz-band Dark Hall and is currently the bass player for Futures End, Synesis Absorption, Mythodea, Charred Walls of the Damned, Anatomy of I and Testament. Along with his bass duties in Sadus he also plays keyboards.

Within his genre, DiGiorgio is respected for his playing skills.

Equipment

DiGiorgio uses a custom Mjollnir by Thor Bass, and also plays custom ESP basses. He is mostly seen with a F-series fretless 5-string bass in a dark green finish, but also uses a very unusual double-neck construction with a fretted and a fretless neck in one body. He uses Ampeg SVT Classic amps and cabinets by Ampeg and Randall.
