Cucumber And Dill Salad
1 English cucumber
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup fresh dill
dash of white or black pepper
Wash and peel cucumber leaving strips of peel on lengthwise.
Cut cucumber into paper thin slices and place in bowl. Add white wine vinegar, sugar, salt, dill and pepper, mix well.
Cover and let sit in fridge over night.
Enjoy!

After the holiday season, we are always striving for something simple and yet flavorful. Here is a wonderful twist on the Mung Daal, a staple that is light and easy to digest. The Dill Leaves provide a wonderful freshness to the taste and the look of the Mung Daal. Enjoy this Moong Dal with Dill Leaves and start the year right.
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 20-25 min
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Mung Daal - 1 cup
Dill Leaves - a handful, chopped
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder/Haldi - 1/8th tsp
Asofoetida/Hing - 1/8th tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Garlic - 1 tbsp, chopped
Green Chillies - to taste, chopped
Salt - to taste
Water - 4 cups
Lime Juice - for garnish
Method:
1. Chop the Dill Leaves. Keep aside.
2. Wash and drain the Mung Daal and keep aside.
3. On medium heat in a pan, heat the Oil and add in the Cumin Seeds. Allow them to sizzle.
4. Add in the Asofoetida, Turmeric Powder and the Curry Leaves. Mix
5. Add in the Garlic and the Green Chillies. Cook for 30 seconds.
6. Pour in the drained Mung Daal, Water, Dill Leaves and Salt. Mix.
7. Stir occasionally and if any foam forms, mix it in.
8. Once cooked, turn off the flame and transfer the Daal.
9. Squeeze some fresh Lime Juice as a garnish and serve with Chapatis or Rice.
Tip:
1. Love Dill? Add in more!
2. Going to serve later? Add additional water and bring to a boil as the Daal tends to absorb the liquid.

Dill (Anethum graveolens), depending on where it is grown, is either a perennial or annual herb. It is the sole species of the genus Anethum, though classified by some botanists in a related genus as Peucedanum graveolens (L.) C.B.Clarke.
Dill grows to 40–60 cm (16–24 in), with slender stems and alternate, finely divided, softly delicate leaves 10–20 cm (3.9–7.9 in) long. The ultimate leaf divisions are 1–2 mm (0.039–0.079 in) broad, slightly broader than the similar leaves of fennel, which are threadlike, less than 1 mm (0.039 in) broad, but harder in texture. The flowers are white to yellow, in small umbels 2–9 cm (0.79–3.5 in) diameter. The seeds are 4–5 mm (0.16–0.20 in) long and 1 mm (0.039 in) thick, and straight to slightly curved with a longitudinally ridged surface.
Dill originated within an area around the Mediterranean and the South of Russia. Zohary and Hopf remark, "wild and weedy types of dill are widespread in the Mediterranean basin and in West Asia." Although several twigs of dill were found in the tomb of Amenhotep II, they reported the earliest archeological evidence for its cultivation comes from late Neolithic lakeshore settlements in Switzerland. Traces have been found in Roman ruins in Great Britain.

Career[link]
Francis first rose to fame after gaining the respect of American producer Diplo and eventually collaborating on the song "Que Que". His song "Masta Blasta", originally a 130 BpM house track, was edited after inspiration from Dutch musician Munchi and eventually ended up as the moombahton track that brought him to fame.[2]
He has released works on multiple labels including Dim Mak Records, Mad Decent[3] and OWSLA.[4]
In February 2012, Francis became the first moombahton artist to achieve the number-one spot atop the Beatport Top 5 Releases Chart with the release of his extended play Something, Something, Awesome.[5]
In late 2012, he embarked on his Wet & Reckless tour across North America, as well as supporting the English electronic-music trio Nero on their Welcome Reality tour and English musician Flux Pavilion on his Standing on a Hill tour.[6]
In 2013 he announced a headlining 'Wurld Turr'[7] across the USA and Canada, as well as confirming that his debut album would be released in 2013. He also gained prominence by being announced as one of MTV Clubland's Artists to watch in 2013 [8], alongside acts such as Kill The Noise and Otto Knows.

Plot: "Hair High" is a gothic high-school comedy with a "Carrie"-like story. Cherri and Rod are the high-school king and queen and they justifiably rule their domain. Spud, the new kid in town, accidentally offends both Cherri and Rod and so is forced to become Cherri's slave. Naturally, they immediately hate each other, but of course later they fall in love. Cherri and Spud secretly decide to go to the prom together, and on prom night a rejected Rod forces their car off the road and into the lake. In true 50's ballad style, their car sinks to the bottom of the lake as they share one last kiss. While the bodies of Cherri and Spud lie in a timeless embrace, Rod is successful in thwarting any investigation and is able to get away with murder. On the night of the following year's prom, the car magically comes to life and slowly drives out of the lake with Cherri and Spud, as if nothing had happened, only this time their bodies are in an advanced state of decomposition. Their rusty and water-logged car drives to the prom and just as Rod is about to crown himself new king of the prom, Cherri and Spud enter the ballroom - the spotlight follows them as they cross the dance floor, with all the attendees in shock. As they approach the stage, spiders, bugs, snakes, lizards and fish ooze from their sagging skin and skeletal bodies, and the prom attendees freak as they mount the stairs to the stage. Spud takes the crown and places it on Cherri as the animals attack and devour Rod.

Betty demonstrates how to make Buttery Dill Potato Cubes. This is an elegant and tasty recipe for those who like to serve potatoes a different way at a meal. Buttery Dill Potato Cubes (Makes a small bowl of Dill Potato Cubes.) 5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes ¼ cup butter, melted freshly-ground coarse sea salt, to taste freshly-ground black peppercorns, to taste 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill Place uncooked potato cubes in a pot and cover with water about 1/2-inch above potatoes. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and cook until fork-tender, about 18 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain potatoes through a colander and return to pot. Drizzle butter over top. After the holiday season, we are always striving for something simple and yet flavorful. Here is a wonderful twist on the Mung Daal, a staple that is light and easy to digest. The Dill Leaves provide a wonderful freshness to the taste and the look of the Mung Daal. Enjoy this Moong Dal with Dill Leaves and start the year right.
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 20-25 min
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
Mung Daal - 1 cup
Dill Leaves - a handful, chopped
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder/Haldi - 1/8th tsp
Asofoetida/Hing - 1/8th tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Garlic - 1 tbsp, chopped
Green Chillies - to taste, chopped
Salt - to taste
Water - 4 cups
Lime Juice - for garnish
Method:
1. Chop the Dill Leaves. Keep aside.
2. Wash and drain the Mung Daal and keep aside.
3. On medium heat in a pan, heat the Oil and add in the Cumin Seeds. Allow them to sizzle.
4. Add in the Asofoetida, Turmeric Powder and the Curry Leaves. Mix
5. Add in the Garlic and the Green Chillies. Cook for 30 seconds.
6. Pour in the drained Mung Daal, Water, Dill Leaves and Salt. Mix.
7. Stir occasionally and if any foam forms, mix it in.
8. Once cooked, turn off the flame and transfer the Daal.
9. Squeeze some fresh Lime Juice as a garnish and serve with Chapatis or Rice.
Tip:
1. Love Dill? Add in more!
2. Going to serve later? Add additional water and bring to a boil as the Daal tends to absorb the liquid.

Betty demonstrates how to make Buttery Dill Potato Cubes. This is an elegant and tasty recipe for those who like to serve potatoes a different way at a meal.
Buttery Dill Potato Cubes
(Makes a small bowl of Dill Potato Cubes.)
5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
¼ cup butter, melted
freshly-ground coarse sea salt, to taste
freshly-ground black peppercorns, to taste
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Place uncooked potato cubes in a pot and cover with water about 1/2-inch above potatoes. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and cook until fork-tender, about 18 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain potatoes through a colander and return to pot. Drizzle butter over top. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle chopped fresh dill over top. Toss lightly, without disturbing the shape of the cubes. Pour into nice serving dish and serve while hot. Enjoy! --Betty ♥♥♥
