The future is what will happen in the time after the present. Its arrival is considered inevitable due to the existence of time and the laws of physics. Due to the apparent nature of reality and the unavoidability of the future, everything that currently exists and will exist can be categorized as either permanent, meaning that it will exist forever, or temporary, meaning that it will end. The future and the concept of eternity have been major subjects of philosophy, religion, and science, and defining them non-controversially has consistently eluded the greatest of minds. In the Occidental view, which uses a linear conception of time, the future is the portion of the projected time line that is anticipated to occur. In special relativity, the future is considered absolute future, or the future light cone.
In the philosophy of time, presentism is the belief that only the present exists and the future and the past are unreal. Religions consider the future when they address issues such as karma, life after death, and eschatologies that study what the end of time and the end of the world will be. Religious figures such as prophets and diviners have claimed to see into the future. Organized efforts to predict or forecast the future may have derived from observations by early man of heavenly objects.

A remix is a piece of media which has been altered from its original state by adding, removing, and/or changing pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, book, video, or photograph can all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and changes other materials to create something new.
Most commonly, remixes are associated with music and songs. Songs are remixed for a variety of reasons:
808 State are an English electronic music group, formed in 1987 in Manchester, taking their name from the Roland TR-808 drum machine. They were formed by Graham Massey, Martin Price and Gerald Simpson, and they released their debut album, Newbuild, in September 1988.
The band secured commercial success in 1989, when their song "Pacific State" was picked up by BBC Radio 1 DJ Gary Davies.
Martin Price was the owner of a record store, Eastern Bloc, and was also the founder of the independent record label, Creed. Customers Graham Massey and Gerald Simpson joined with Price to form a hip-hop group called Hit Squad Manchester. Soon after, the band shifted to an acid house sound, recording the debut Newbuild in 1988, while using the name 808 State for the first time.
Newbuild was released on Price's own record label. In an interview with Mojo magazine in 2005, Graham Massey explained that the album was recorded over the course of a winter weekend in January 1988 at Spirit Studios, Manchester. The album was named after a Bolton housing co-operative. The record was re-released in 2005 on Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records. Aphex Twin was a huge fan of the record: "It was the next step after Chicago acid, and as much as I loved that, I could relate much better to 808 State. It seemed colder and more human at the same time."

so bad so deep so strong... LTJ live n direct @ Fabric Christmas eve 2005. You can find more outstanding Bukem n Conrad sets on my SoundCloud page (some are blocked on YT): https://soundcloud.com/dj-jo-public As we approach the 10 year anniversary of the 10 year anniversary it seems fitting to upload this set. The first track is copied from later in the set (67m) so you get it twice - one of the best ever made - so deep so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes (serious flashbacks). Sadly the sound quality is poor - the MCs are too loud, the music too quite and too many rewinds for my liking, don't get me started... anyway great vibes and massive tracks, I had to cut ~1min at 50:30 to stop it being blocked due to copyright. 0:00 - Being with you (original mix) - Foul Play - moving shadow (...
This was a fun show, definitely one of the better ones from 1998. This really was what I tried to bring to the show every week, a little bit of every genre all mixed up, including the short-lived Speed Garage and Breakbeat/Techno classics from 808 State and the Moonshine compilation "Classic Rave". This is a show where you will hear me use the pause button on our cd players for a repeated looping effect on various tracks, something I did a lot at WHSN since we had special CD players with looping functions. Sometimes it was used well, but at other times it was overused and sounded intrusive. Also on this show are samples DJ Skott put in our in-studio computer, most notably the screaming cat meow sample I used in "Pussy" by Lords Of Acid while we laughed our asses off in the studio because ...
