St Patrick's Athletic F.C.
St Patrick's Athletic F.C. (Irish: Cumann Peile Lúthchleas Phádraig Naofa) is an Irish association football club based in Inchicore, Dublin, that plays in the Irish Premier Division. Founded in May 1929, they played originally in the Phoenix Park but they moved to their current ground Richmond Park in 1930.
St Patrick's Athletic have won numerous trophies in Irish Club Football, including nine League Titles, the fifth most in Irish Football, as well as three FAI Cups and two League Cups. The current manager is Liam Buckley, who is in his second spell in charge at the club after replacing Pete Mahon in 2011.
The club graduated through the ranks of the Leinster Senior League and duly took their place in the League of Ireland in 1951, and won the Championship at their first attempt. The club's glory years came in the 1950s and 1990s when they won 7 of their 9 league titles. The club also have the record for never having been relegated from the Premier Division . The club play in red and white colours, and their nicknames include The Saints, Supersaints and Pats. The Saints also have a lot of Dublin Derby games with the likes of Shelbourne, Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians.

Bánh patê sô (from obsolete 19th century French pâté chaud "hot pastry pie") is a Vietnamese savory puff pastry. The pastry is made of a light layered and flaky exterior with a meat filling. Traditionally, the filling consists of ground pork but chicken and beef are also commonly used now. This pastry is French-inspired but is commonly found in Vietnamese bakeries both in Vietnam and among the Vietnamese diaspora overseas.
Etymology
The masculine French noun "pâté" in combination with "chaud" (hot) was the name of the "hot pie" in French colonial Vietnam. It was the same usage as in France at the time; for example, Urbain Dubois (1818-1901), in his La Cuisine classique of 1868, describes Pâté-chaud à la Marinière as a moulded meat pie. However, this wording is now obsolete in modern French where a pie is designated pâtisserie, and pâté simply means "meat". The French noun pâté is grammatically masculine; the related feminine noun "pâte" lacks a final accent on é; pâtes chaudes means "hot pasta" in modern French, whereas the equivalent of today's Vietnamese bánh patê sô, puff pastry, in France is pâte feuilletée.

Pâté
Pâté is a mixture of cooked ground meat and fat minced into a spreadable paste. Common additions include vegetables, herbs, spices, and either wine or brandy (often cognac or armagnac). Pâté can be served either hot or cold, but it is considered to develop its fullest flavor after a few days of chilling.
Variations
In French or Belgian cuisine, pâté may be baked in a crust as pie or loaf, in which case it is called pâté en croûte, or baked in a terrine (or other mold), in which case it is known as pâté en terrine. Traditionally, a forcemeat mixture cooked and served in a terrine is also called a terrine. The most famous pâté is probably pâté de foie gras, made from the livers of fattened geese. Foie gras entier is fattened goose liver cooked and sliced, not made into pâté. Pâté en croûte is baked with the insertion of "chimneys" on top: small tubes or funnels that allow steam to escape, thus keeping the pastry crust from turning damp or soggy. Baked pâté en croûte usually develops an air bubble under the crust top as the meat mixture shrinks during baking; this is traditionally dealt with by infusing semi-liquid aspic in the hollow space before chilling.

Narcisse Théophile Patouillard
Narcisse Théophile Patouillard (July 2, 1854 - March 30, 1926) was a French pharmacist and mycologist.
He was born in Macornay, a town in the department of Jura. He studied in Besançon, then furthered his education at the École Supérieure de Pharmacie in Paris, where in 1884 he earned a diploma with a doctoral thesis involving the structure and classification of Hymenomycetes called "Des Hyménomycètes au point de vue de leur structure et de leur classification".
Patouillard was a practicing pharmacist for more than forty years, first in Poligny (1881–84), and later in Fontenay-sous-Bois (1884–85), Paris (1886–1898) and Neuilly-sur-Seine (beginning in 1898). From 1893 to 1900, he was préparateur to the chair of cryptogamy at the École Supérieure de Pharmacie in Paris. In 1884 he was one of the founders of the Société mycologique de France and served as its third president in 1891-92. In 1920 he became an honorary member of the British Mycological Society. He died in Paris, aged 71.

Pour recevoir des amis à l’improviste ou se régaler lors d’un pique-nique campagnard, le pâté de campagne est une valeur sûre. Pour être très appréciée, la recette du pâté de campagne maison doit être parfumée et justement assaisonnée. Grâce à notre recette de pâté de campagne, vous apprendrez comment obtenir l’équilibre parfait des saveurs pour un pâté à tomber.
La recette pour 2 terrines de 500g :
500 g de gorge de porc
500 g de poitrine de porc fraîche
500 g de foies de volaille
250 g d'épaule de porc
50 g de beurre
3 échalotes
5 cl de cognac
14 g sel au kg
2 g de poivre au kg
1 g de noix de muscade au kg
50 g de lait
20 g de fécule de pomme de terre
1 branche de romarin
1 branche de thym
1 feuille de laurier
Préparation :
Couper les échalotes en petits morceaux et suer au beurre
Laissez refroidir
Couper les viandes en cubes de 3 cm
Assaisonner et ajouter le cognac
Laisser reposer toute la nuit
Hacher la viande à grille moyenne
Diluer la fécule dans le lait
Ajouter à la mêlée
Remplir les terrines jusqu’à 2 cm du rebord en tassant bien
Poser les aromates en surface
Faire rôtir au four à 180°C pendant 20 mn
Couvrir le plat et baisser le four à 150°C
Vérifier la cuisson 70°C à cœur
Laisser refroidir pendant 30 min à l’extérieur
Refroidir en chambre froide.

1 branche de romarin
2 poignées de pistaches
2, 3 ou 4 cuillères à soupe d'eau de vie selon vos goûts (Cognac, Armagnac, Eau de vie de fruit)

* Instead tamari, you can use some other naturally fermented salty condiment, such as coconut aminos, to get those perfect umami notes in the flavor.
* The pâté can be kept in the fridge for a week, but make sure to cover its surface to prevent oxidation.
* Soaking walnuts not only make them softer and more suitable for this vegan recipe, but will also activate their enzymes and make them easier to digest.

HOW it's MADE:
Take 150 grams of mushrooms and peel the skin. Then chop the mushroom into smaller pieces and wash them with water. Place the clean chopped mushrooms in a bowl and pour 30 ml of tamari sauce. Let them soak for an hour.
In another bowl place 100 grams of walnuts and pour over water. Let them soak for an hour.
After an hour strain the walnuts and place them in food processor, add the marinated mushrooms (together with the excess of tamari sauce), 2-3 pieces of pickled red peppers,
30 ml of flaxseed oil, 1/4 garlic powder and two pinches of black pepper powder.
Blend well. The consistency that I usually like to go for is one that is well-blended, spreadable and without chunks. Scraping down the sides as needed throughout.
It would be the best to consume this raw mushroom and walnut pâté within a week. Before storing it in the fridge, make sure you cover the surface to prevent oxidation.
Enjoy with some raw crackers. Bon appétit!

Pour recevoir des amis à l’improviste ou se régaler lors d’un pique-nique campagnard, le pâté de campagne est une valeur sûre. Pour être très appréciée, la recette du pâté de campagne maison doit être parfumée et justement assaisonnée. Grâce à notre recette de pâté de campagne, vous apprendrez comment obtenir l’équilibre parfait des saveurs pour un pâté à tomber.
La recette pour 2 terrines de 500g :
500 g de gorge de porc
500 g de poitrine de porc fraîche
500 g de foies de volaille
250 g d'épaule de porc
50 g de beurre
3 échalotes
5 cl de cognac
14 g sel au kg
2 g de poivre au kg
1 g de noix de muscade au kg
50 g de lait
20 g de fécule de pomme de terre
1 branche de romarin
1 branche de thym
1 feuille de laurier
Préparation :
Couper les échalotes en petits morceaux et suer au beurre
Laissez refroidir
Couper les viandes en cubes de 3 cm
Assaisonner et ajouter le cognac
Laisser reposer toute la nuit
Hacher la viande à grille moyenne
Diluer la fécule dans le lait
Ajouter à la mêlée
Remplir les terrines jusqu’à 2 cm du rebord en tassant bien
Poser les aromates en surface

16oz milk
1/3 cup water
1 onion
2 carrots
1 butter stick
Salt
Seasonings to taste
Soak the cleansed chicken liver (without hearts) in milk or cream for 20 minutes. Fry the onions and carrots for 5-7 minutes, salt and add strained liver. Pour 1/3 glass of water and simmer over low heat, covered for 20 minutes. Then remove the lid and evaporate the liquid. Grind the liver with 1/2 stick of butter, place it in container and let it cool!

Voici les ingrédients :
500 g de maigre de cochon («moi j’ai utilisé du filet mignon)
500 g de gras de cochon
500 g de foie de volaille
2 œufs
9 g de sel par kg
1 g de poivre par kg
4 épices ou noix de muscade
2 échalotes
5 g de piment d'espelette
Crépine de cochon
1 tête d'ail (fumé ou non)
1 branche de romarin
2 poignées de pistaches
2, 3 ou 4 cuillères à soupe d'eau de vie selon vos goûts (Cognac, Armagnac, Eau de vie de fruit)

* Instead tamari, you can use some other naturally fermented salty condiment, such as coconut aminos, to get those perfect umami notes in the flavor.
* The pâté can be kept in the fridge for a week, but make sure to cover its surface to prevent oxidation.
* Soaking walnuts not only make them softer and more suitable for this vegan recipe, but will also activate their enzymes and make them easier to digest.

HOW it's MADE:
Take 150 grams of mushrooms and peel the skin. Then chop the mushroom into smaller pieces and wash them with water. Place the clean chopped mushrooms in a bowl and pour 30 ml of tamari sauce. Let them soak for an hour.
In another bowl place 100 grams of walnuts and pour over water. Let them soak for an hour.
After an hour strain the walnuts and place them in food processor, add the marinated mushrooms (together with the excess of tamari sauce), 2-3 pieces of pickled red peppers,
30 ml of flaxseed oil, 1/4 garlic powder and two pinches of black pepper powder.
Blend well. The consistency that I usually like to go for is one that is well-blended, spreadable and without chunks. Scraping down the sides as needed throughout.
It would be the best to consume this raw mushroom and walnut pâté within a week. Before storing it in the fridge, make sure you cover the surface to prevent oxidation.
Enjoy with some raw crackers. Bon appétit!

St Patrick's Athletic F.C. (Irish: Cumann Peile Lúthchleas Phádraig Naofa) is an Irish association football club based in Inchicore, Dublin, that plays in the Irish Premier Division.
