A quick look at the Random Square Shopping Mall in the town of Clarenville in Newfoundland. This is a tiny mall and there is nothing too special about it. Anchor stores are Rossy, Dollarama, and Sobey's (plus an NLC Liquor Store). Wal-Mart used to occupy Dollarama and Rossy's spaces.
Really nothing special at all but it is owned by Crombie REIT who also runs the Avalon Mall so you can see a lot of similarities in the decor of this mall to the Avalon Mall.

Clarenville
Clarenville is a Canadian town on the east coast of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Clarenville was incorporated in 1951 and is located in the Shoal Harbour valley fronting an arm of the Atlantic Ocean called Random Sound.
The town grew in importance after it became a junction on the Newfoundland Railway where a branch line to the Bonavista Peninsula left the main line. The construction of the Trans-Canada Highway through the community in the 1960s resulted in it becoming a local service centre for central-eastern Newfoundland, serving 96,000 people living in 90 communities within a 100 km radius. Clarenville is centrally located and within two hours' driving time of 70% of the province’s population.
The town is a natural gateway to the Discovery Trail, extending down the Bonavista Peninsula to Trinity and Bonavista, reputed sight of the first landing of European explorer John Cabot. The trail is a panorama of scenery, historic sites, coastal towns and villages.

In June 2014 then Minister of Health and Community Services, Paul Davis; MHA Ross Wiseman, Mayor of Clarenville Frazer Russell and CREST chair Larry Reid announced the launch of a local senior's bus service.
This video looks at the service 16 months in - and speaks to volunteers and users about its success and its continued possibilities
The Clarenville Region Extended Seniors' Transportation (CREST) is a Clarenville based pilot project under the Age-Friendly Newfoundland and Labrador Transportation initiative.
The CREST bus service will operate within Clarenville and travel as far as North West Brook, Harcourt and Elliott's Cove on a shared-ride door-to-door basis.
The service is intended for people age 60 or over and for people confined to a wheelchair. The volunteer enabled service will commence July 7, and will operate on a scheduled route that covers the majority of a 20-kilometre radius of the town of Clarenville.
The 16-passenger/wheelchair accessible bus will operate Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Passengers should book space on the bus 24 hours in advance (and up to seven days prior to riding) by calling 709.466.1114.
