Sig and Glock. The names are synonymous with the TNP brand. I took a lot of flack for sticking to my Glock recommendation as a top GTW pistol for years. Back in 2008 I also declared the Sig P226 (and P228) as another Warrior Pistol worthy of HOF status in TNP. I caught heat for both recommendations despite the dozens of other combat worthy pistols I reviewed and rec’d here. I always lauded the GLOCK’s lightweight however, always holding up as the standard to meet (25 oz!). Many vids have been issued on both here, selling 1000s for the companies. Fast forward to 2016. Apparently the SEALS also agree that SAWC is important, announcing that the Glock 19 3rd Gen will be their next ‘official’ combat handgun. This is a fascinating development and I cover many of the aspect of it here. Inside the video you’ll see the P226 and Glock 19 (17) square off in terms of ergos, function, simplicity, track record, firepower, accuracy, and most importantly SAWC. See the many years of shooting both in the video with overlaid video as we discuss these interesting points. Most importantly, I introduce another soon-to-be-copied original TNP Gear PhilosophyTerm: GEAR TRANSPARENCY. This allows true focus on the mission accomplishment which should the ultimate goal (not gear obsession). I draw conclusions with both these beloved GTW handguns and can only side with one on SAWC basis. Both Glock and Sig fans will find another favorite TNP session with this one.

Latest update: the G19 will be integrated over the next 2 years to replace the SIG's. The SIGs will be around another 2 years in some capacity as each Team goes through a work up and receives extensive training with the G19 vs the P226 prior to deploying with it.
Which makes perfect sense.
When asked about delivery we have been told to "stand by."
WTBS there are a lot of interesting things coming down the pipeline and a lot of things going away because they just don't provide much relevance; or said items perform poorly in the field.

Are the SEALS Stupid To Switch to Glock 19?
Sig and Glock. The names are synonymous with the TNP brand. I took a lot of flack for sticking to my Glock recommendation as a top GTW pistol for years. Back in 2008 I also declared the Sig P226 (and P228) as another Warrior Pistol worthy of HOF status in TNP. I caught heat for both recommendations despite the dozens of other combat worthy pistols I reviewed and rec’d here. I always lauded the GLOCK’s lightweight however, always holding up as the standard to meet (25 oz!). Many vids have been issued on both here, selling 1000s for the companies. Fast forward to 2016. Apparently the SEALS also agree that SAWC is important, announcing that the Glock 19 3rd Gen will be their next ‘official’ combat handgun. Sig and Glock. The names are synonymous with the TNP brand. I took a lot of flack for sticking to my Glock recommendation as a top GTW pistol for years. Back in 2008 I also declared the Sig P226 (and P228) as another Warrior Pistol worthy of HOF status in TNP. I caught heat for both recommendations despite the dozens of other combat worthy pistols I reviewed and rec’d here. I always lauded the GLOCK’s lightweight however, always holding up as the standard to meet (25 oz!). Many vids have been issued on both here, selling 1000s for the companies. Fast forward to 2016. Apparently the SEALS also agree that SAWC is important, announcing that the Glock 19 3rd Gen will be their next ‘official’ combat handgun. This is a fascinating development and I cover many of the aspect of it here. Inside the video you’ll see the P226 and Glock 19 (17) square off in terms of ergos, function, simplicity, track record, firepower, accuracy, and most importantly SAWC. See the many years of shooting both in the video with overlaid video as we discuss these interesting points. Most importantly, I introduce another soon-to-be-copied original TNP Gear PhilosophyTerm: GEAR TRANSPARENCY. This allows true focus on the mission accomplishment which should the ultimate goal (not gear obsession). I draw conclusions with both these beloved GTW handguns and can only side with one on SAWC basis. Both Glock and Sig fans will find another favorite TNP session with this one.

Latest update: the G19 will be integrated over the next 2 years to replace the SIG's. The SIGs will be around another 2 years in some capacity as each Team goes through a work up and receives extensive training with the G19 vs the P226 prior to deploying with it.
Which makes perfect sense.
When asked about delivery we have been told to "stand by."
WTBS there are a lot of interesting things coming down the pipeline and a lot of things going away because they just don't provide much relevance; or said items perform poorly in the field.

What happens if you wrap a Glock with Rubber Bands? How many rubber bands will it take to cause the Glock to malfunction? Is one rubber band powerful enough to stop the slide from functioning properly? Will this create an over pressure situation and kaboom the glock? This has been suggested by viewers on multiple occasions and seemed like a fun video to do! This is a wacky function test and there are a lot more in the Glock Function Tests Playlist! "Many firearms, including Glocks, are designed to be carried loaded with a round in the chamber. Unless the trigger is pulled, requiring a rather intentional effort with a Glock, they are completely safe. This was a goofy, pointless experiment, but his allegations that this was dangerous were invalid. If you mess with the trigger in some way, then yes. With an unmolested trigger, it really doesn't matter what you do with the gun, loaded or not, perhaps aside from tossing it in the fireplace. They don't discharge without pulling the trigger, ever, period. I've carried loaded and chambered Sigs and Glocks for decades. They're totally safe. If someone is unable to NOT pull the trigger, they might be the kind of individual who should put their car in park and shut off the engine to avoid flooring the gas pedal at red lights, careening into oncoming traffic! This is probably not the type of person who should own firearms!"

The Glock function test is an operation where we subject the legendary Glock to unusual circumstances and observe how the Glock performs. Sometimes we test products or lubricants. Other times we test the Glock without important parts or with unnecessary parts added! Wrong ammunition? Parts from other glocks or guns? We even attempt to bust myths! Stopping short of exploding our gun! I primarily use a Glock 17 in my tests. Sometimes a Glock 19, Glock 23, Glock 22 or Glock 20 is featured. The glock 17 has been featured in over 50 test videos in the last two years. Going strong, the only part I have replaced is the recoil spring! However, I believe that the fire control group will be the next replacement. Don't try this at home. This is the World's Most Abused Glock.
