Zhinan Temple (Chinese: 指南宮; pinyin: Zhĭnán Gōng; also called 仙公廟, Xiāngōng Miào; also unofficially anglicized as "Chi nan" or "Chih nan") is a Taoist temple on the slopes of Houshan (猴山, "Monkey Mountain") in Muzha, a suburb of Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1882. The temple's main deity is Lü Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals. As Lü is said to dwell in the southern courtyard of the heavenly court, the temple acts as a compass pointing toward the south (指南, zhĭnán); hence the name.
Popular folklore holds that unmarried couples who visit the temple together will break up. One explanation is that Lü Dongbin, famous for his Taoist sexual prowess, can be counted upon to seduce any unmarried woman (older versions specify that she must be a virgin). Another is that since Lü Dongbin's love for Immortal Woman He was unanswered, he is jealous of lovers.
Zhinan Temple is famous for its stairway of "1000" steps. (This is to the Yuanzhen Pond and the Tudigong shrine; the gate of the Chunyang Chapel requires a further 300 steps.) Several bus routes also serve the temple, especially No. 530 from Zhinan Bus Company. Access by cable car was available between 2007 and 2008, was then suspended due to erosion-related structural problems, and has since been restored.
The Maokong Gondola (Chinese: 貓空纜車; pinyin: Māokōng Lǎnchē) is a gondola lift transportation system in Taipei, Taiwan. Opened on 4 July 2007, the Maokong Gondola operates between Taipei Zoo and Maokong. The 4.3 km (2.7 mi) line has four stations. The facilities of the gondola were contracted to the French company Poma.
The line has four stations:
On leaving Zhinan Temple or Maokong Stations, regular and frequent minibus services can ferry visitors to destinations around the Maokong area. Minibus services can also deliver passengers directly back to the Taipei Zoo MRT station.
When operating, the fares are based on the number of stations traveled:
Concessional fares are available to disability and seniors aged over 65.
Fares can be paid by either purchasing the tickets at the stations or using EasyCard or stored-value card. Each adult ticket can bring 2 children for free. Discounts are available for group travelling. Groups of 10 or above will receive 20% off their ticket price while groups of 40 or above will receive 30% off.
Hunan Television or Hunan TV (Chinese: 湖南卫视; pinyin: Húnán Wèishì) is a provincial satellite TV station. It launched in January 1997 and is currently China's second-most-watched channel, second only to CCTV-1, owned by China Central Television, although Hunan STV occasionally overtook CCTV-1 in ratings. Hunan TV's signal covers most of China, including Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas as (Hunan STV World) in North America, Japan, Australia, Europe and other countries and regions landing. From 28 September 2009 onward, the channel uses standard high-definition broadcast.
The original idea of the logo of Hunan TV is about a white fish and a golden grain, symblizing that Hunan is a land of abundance and a land flowing with milk and honey. The light yellow and golden color symblize the sprits of Hunan people, including optimistic, brave and creativity. In recent years, audiences gave Hunan TV a nickname as Mango TV which is accepted by Hunan TV as an official byname, because the shape of its logo looks like a golden mango. The nickname is especially useful as there are 22 provinces and the official channel name can be easily confused with other television channels.
Out Loud may refer to:
LOL or lol, an acronym for laugh(ing) out loud, or lots of laughs, is a popular element of Internet slang. It was first used almost exclusively on Usenet, but has since become widespread in other forms of computer-mediated communication and even face-to-face communication. It is one of many initialisms for expressing bodily reactions, in particular laughter, as text, including initialisms for more emphatic expressions of laughter such as LMAO ("laugh(ing) my ass off") and ROFL (or its older form ROTFL; "roll(ing) on the floor laughing"). Other unrelated expansions include the now mostly obsolete "lots of luck" or "lots of love" used in letter-writing.
The list of acronyms "grows by the month" and they are collected along with emoticons and smileys into folk dictionaries that are circulated informally amongst users of Usenet, IRC, and other forms of (textual) computer-mediated communication. These initialisms are controversial, and several authors recommend against their use, either in general or in specific contexts such as business communications.

We ride on the Maokong Gondola, a 4 kilometer cable car between the Taipei Zoo and Maokong, a tea growing town at the top of the mountain. Along the way, we stop at Zhinan Temple, a Daoist temple complex clinging to the mountainside.

You'd never believe it though when you visit some of the city's most prominent temples. Overflowing with visitors getting in their good luck prayers to ensure a healthy and prosperous year for themselves and their family. Longshan Temple is by far the most visited with the temple so crowded it's not unusual to get a little poke from someone's incense stick as you make your way through the throngs of people. Guandu Temple near the old fishing village river port town of Danshui is another favorite with many making their yearly visit to the big complex and oldest in Northern Taiwan. Another one of my favorite's to visit, especially on a sunny day, is Zhinan Temple on Monkey Mountain near the Taipei Zoo. Accessible by stairs that start at National Chengchi University, it's an approximate 30...

The Zhinan Temple (指南宮), with its own station, is one of the most important of Taiwan's early Taoist temples. Its dedicated to main deity Lu Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals, and various other deities.
Here's an easy walk from Chengchi University close to Taipei Zoo to Zhinan Temple and further up to Maokong. The walk is easy and passes the interesting and beautiful temple, the Maokong Gongola Zhinan Temple Station, a small twin waterfall, and the Maokong Potholes. Maokong Gondola - On the way back to Zhinan Temple, Taipei
2015.07.12 Having met some new friends in Taipei, we went to visit and tried to experience cable car rides, and we really had FUN! The line has four stations: Taipei Zoo (動物園站), outside the Taipei Zoo Taipei Zoo South (動物園內站), inside the Taipei Zoo Zhinan Temple (指南宮站) Maokong (Sanxuan Temple) (貓空站) On leaving Zhinan Temple or Maokong Stations, regular and frequent minibus services can ferry visitors to destinations around the Maokong area. Minibus services can also deliver passengers directly back to the Taipei Zoo MRT station.
Took the MRT to the Wenshan District to catch a ride on the Gondola to Maokong and then from Maokong we walked to Zhinan Temple then went to the Ningxia Night Market
We may struggle
We may even very well see hell from the gates
Don't think that you are alright
Are above making mistakes
Said, I'm gonna get on your damn nerves
And you're gonna make me mad
But I believe we can survive all that
'Cause love this good could never be that bad
So may you never know the way
Way that it feels, feels to be lonely
May you never know one day when love isn't real
Yeah, this stuff to me is genuine only
See, well, maybe in a perfect world
We would get along perfectly
But seeing how this is real life
Sometimes we just wanna be
And I may make you say that you wanna leave
Never come back but I don't
But I believe we can survive all that
'Cause love this good could never be that bad
So may you never know the way
Way that it feels, feels to be lonely
May you never know one day when love isn't real
See this stuff to me is genuine only, yeah, yeah
Said, I ain't always gonna like you, girl
Said you ain't always gonna like me, girl
But you're the only one I want in this world
Let me sing it again
Said, I ain't always gonna like you girl
Said, you ain't always gonna like me girl
But I love you more than anything in this world, no
May you never know the way
The way that it feels, feels to be lonely
May you never know one day when love isn't real
See this stuff to me is genuine only
May you never know the way, yeah
To the way that it feels, that it feels to be lonely
May you never know one day when love isn't real
