PLEASE READ!!!!!! ((In process. Doesn't want to save description and I'm working on getting the full thing up.)) This is a response to Necessity Studio Auditions. I had an idea for this song and movie, and started it a few days ago. It was supposed to just be to get used to Balto clips and get better at lip synching. I tried not to use a ton of effects, because the video didnt need them. So, here it is. And why are there more black flashes at the beginning when you can hear more beats at the end? I wanted to mostly do the flashes for the piano notes. So I put my headphones in to hear them better, and synch up those flashes with piano beat. A kind of symbolism, if you will. Now this video has a whole plot, which is right here: Balto, Steele and Jenna are a group of friends who have always been there for each other. Balto has always had feelings for Jenna, and when he finally voices his feelings, they have a slight fling. Jenna soon breaks off their relationship when Balto starts to act possessive, and she turns to Steele for comfort. They are soon together as a couple and Baltos life seems to shatter. He cant stay around his former friends, as they both have begun to believe that he is short-tempered and easily angered. He tries to prove different, but he is soon left on his own, with no one to turn to for comfort. One day he hears they have left town, and are bound to be married. Balto hears from some of Steeles previous lady friends that he is only hiding in a soft shell, and when he gets angry he is quick to lash out. Balto quickly heads after them to stop anything from happening to Jenna. On his journey, he relives memories of them when they were just one big group and he finds himself breaking down on his path and not wanting to go any further... Breakdown by lyrics and such: ~Opening~ Balto is rejected by Jenna and Steele and they leave him standing alone while they walk off together. It then fades to him as he starts his journey through the deep snow and blistering wind. Early on in his travels, he starts to think of what might happen if he ended up confronting Steele and the fight that may very well follow. ~Where has the starlight gone?~ Balto relives one of the moments that he shared with Jenna when they were together, when he showed her his interpretation of the Northern Lights. He had told her then that they were the best guide if she was ever lost. ~Dark is the day~ Balto finds himself talking to both himself and a stranger, a goose named Boris, on his journey. He explains what he felt as he watched Jenna and Steele take off on their journey. ~How can I find My way home?~ As he travels, he marks his path, but he still finds himself lost. He begins to wonder if he should go back, but he forces himself onward. Something in his mind is distraught at the prospect of the upcoming challenge, but he pushes the thoughts away. ~Home is an empty dream.~ His hope and strength start to fail him as he begins to think that hell never be able to go back home and that hell never make it to Jenna and Steele in time. As he takes a slight rest, something in him almost doesnt want to get back up. The cold starts to get to his mind and he starts seeing things as if Steele was traveling with him, and pushing him to just turn around and go back. ~Lost to the night.~ He remembers what first started to tear him and Jenna apart, when he is the reason that she gets news that her girl is dying. His guilt starts to overtake him as the memories flood his mind. ~Father, I feel so alone.~ He starts to think about his parents, who he barely knew when he was a pup. They were both killed by humans when he was young, but hed always been able to trust his father before they died. So, he starts to turn to him again. ~You promised youd be there!~ The Steele that is just a figment of his imagination starts to taunt him, saying that he would never succeed in his quest. Balto remembers the words of his friend from so long ago, when he promised hed never leave him. He goes off on the fake!Steele and yells about how he broke his promise. The Steele laughs and says Balto is just being silly, and that hes right there and had never deserted him in the first place. ~Whenever I needed you Whenever I call your name, youre not anywhere.~ Baltos mental breakdown progresses further as he feels that he is lost and he lays down in the snow and starts to sob. He whispers the names of his friends and finally starts to sense how alone he really is. ~Im trying to hold on.~ He gets back on his feet to find that his mind had replaced Steele with Jenna, who starts to give him some kind words to help him move onward. He tries to pull himself together as he remembers that he needs to help her. Thats as much as it wants to let me put up right now? I have a ton more plotline than that! Gah...I'll work on it.
