KABC may refer to:
Ann Hart Coulter (/ˈkoʊltər/; born December 8, 1961) is an American conservative social and political commentator, writer, syndicated columnist, and lawyer. She frequently appears on television, radio, and as a speaker at public and private events.
Coulter rose to prominence in the 1990s as an outspoken critic of the Clinton administration. Her first book concerned the Bill Clinton impeachment, and sprang from her experience writing legal briefs for Paula Jones's attorneys, as well as columns she wrote about the cases. Coulter has described herself as a polemicist who likes to "stir up the pot", and does not "pretend to be impartial or balanced, as broadcasters do", drawing criticism from the left, and sometimes from the right.
Coulter's syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate began appearing in newspapers, and was featured on major conservative websites.
Ann Hart Coulter was born on December 8, 1961 in New York City, to John Vincent Coulter (1926–2008), an FBI agent of Irish-German heritage, who was a native of Albany, New York, and Nell Husbands Coulter (née Martin; 1928- 2009), a native of Paducah, Kentucky. All eight of her paternal great-great-grandparents were immigrants. Her family later moved to New Canaan, Connecticut, where Coulter and her two older brothers, James and John, were raised. She was raised in a conservative household in Connecticut by Republican parents, with a father who loved Joseph McCarthy. Coulter says she has identified as a conservative since kindergarten. To prep for arguments, she read books like Barry Goldwater's Conscience of a Conservative.

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A dangerous police chase of a suspect in a red Ford Explorer ended peacefully in Sherman Oaks Friday. The male suspect was taken into custody after abruptly stopping at Hazeltine and Moorpark Street at about 5:40 p.m. Authorities say the chase began in Chino. Officers responded to a call from Kohl's around 4:38 p.m. at the Chino Spectrum Towne Center for a possible forgery investigation. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect fled, leading police on a chase through multiple cities in Southern California. At one point during the chase, a man came out and threw something at the vehicle, damaging the SUV. From that point, the pursuit continued on for about another 30 minutes. The suspect has not been identified.
EDIT: YouTube DEFINITELY downgraded the audio quality so if anyone wants the EWN NG4 cut played here in best quality, message me. On Friday, KABC decided to show a full close with credits at the end of their 11am newscast. A whole cut of EWN (ABC News) NG4 was played. One of the best cuts ever in my opinion. Video recorded off my phone explains the poor video quality, but audio recorded through line-in so its great quality (unless YouTube decreases its quality).
Paul Moyer and Ann Martin anchor the news, Dallas Raines for weather, and Todd Donoho for sports. Other stories include Jeff Michael reporting on Spike Lee's Jungle Fever from Westwood, Charles Keating having some of his charges acquitted from court, and uphelding the prohibition of recording inside of San Quentin Prison's gas chamber. Unlike most newscasts, this leads off with a report from the NBA Finals and a brief look at an Angels/Detroit Tigers game.
Here's another classic L.A. sign off sequence, this time from KABC. Other sign offs have been posted from earlier in the '80s however. This begins with Dianetics, Norms Restaurants and Southern California College of Optometry commercials. Then Roger Carroll is the voiceover for the sign-off announcement, which doesn't contain a lot of technical information, but reminds viewers to tune to KABC-AM or KLOS-FM for entertainment. The classic High Flight poem video is then showed (dating back into the 1970s) followed by the Moog SSB video (this was also used at WABC NYC in the 1970s/80s). At the end is a bonus...a classic 1960s KABC B&W; test pattern with the ABC logo prominently displayed in the middle! Not sure when they went off that evening, but I suppose 3 or 4 in the morning, based off the...

Me dices que
a llegado el momento
de terminar lo nuestro
y te vas a marchar
Y aclaras que
como pasa en un cuento
siempre existe un principio
luego llega el final
Me dices que
es mejor que sigamos
cada quien por su lado
que me busque otro amor
Que asi es mejor
que para ti es perfecto
que se acabo aquel cuento
que digamos adios
Que poca, marcharte
sin sentir remordimiento
causarme un gran dolor
y un cruel tormento
al dar punto final
a nuestra historia
Que poca, me pides
que nomas seamos amigos
se me hace que te fallan
los sentidos, que poca
pena tienes al pedirlo
Me dices que
es mejor que sigamos
cada quien por su lado
que me busque otro amor
Que asi es mejor
que para ti es perfecto
que se acabo aquel cuento
que digamos adios
Que poca, marcharte
sin sentir remordimiento
causarme un gran dolor
y un cruel tormento
al dar punto final
a nuestra historia
Que poca, me pides
que nomas seamos amigos
se me hace que te fallan
los sentidos, que poca
madre tienes al pedirlo
