Malibu, California

Malibu (/ˈmælᵻbuː/) is an affluent beach city in Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 12,645. Malibu consists of a 21-mile (34 km) strip of prime Pacific coastline. Nicknamed "the 'Bu" by surfers and locals, the community is famous for its warm, sandy beaches, and for being the home of many Hollywood movie stars and others associated with the entertainment industry. Signs around the city proclaim "27 miles of scenic beauty", referring to Malibu's original length of 27 miles (43 km) before the city was incorporated in 1991.

Most Malibu residents live within a few hundred yards of Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1), which traverses the city, with some residents living up to a mile away from the beach up narrow canyons, and many more residents of the unincorporated canyon areas identifying Malibu as their hometown. The city is also bounded by Topanga to the east, the Santa Monica Mountains (Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Woodland Hills) to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the south, and Ventura County to the west.

Malibu, CA (TV series)

Malibu, CA is an American teen sitcom television program produced by Saved by the Bell creator Peter Engel that aired from 1998 to 2000 on syndication. Co-created by Engel and Carl Kurlander, the show centred on the lives of twin brothers Scott (Trevor Merszei) and Jason Collins (Jason Hayes), who move to Malibu, California from New York City to live with their father, Peter (Edward Blatchford).

Guest appearances on the show included Dennis Haskins (who had previously worked with Engel for several years on Saved by the Bell), Scott Whyte and Marissa Dyan from City Guys, Daniella Deutscher from Hang Time, and model Victoria Silvstedt.

The series was one of two post-Saved by the Bell: The College Years series executive produced by Peter Engel that did not air on NBC's TNBC lineup, USA High being the other. Prior to the 2012 premiere of The First Family, Malibu, CA was the last situation comedy to be broadcast for the first-run syndication market.

Lisa Gautier (known as Lisa, born 1997) is a French dancer, actress and singer. She is Michel Gautier's daughter and Mylène Farmer's niece.

Career

In 2004, she portrayed the child in the ballet Le Songe de Médée at the Opera Garnier on a choreography by Angelin Preljocaj. Then, two years later, she played in the film Jacquou le Croquant, by Laurent Boutonnat. In 2008, she recorded the single "Drôle de Creepie", the song theme of the animated feature Growing Up Creepie, whose lyrics were written by Mylène Farmer and music composed by Laurent Boutonnat. In the music video directed by Benoît Di Sabatino, Lisa is dressed as a gothic lolita. The song peaked at #6 on the French SNEP Singles Chart in September 2008. Lisa also inspired Farmer's book, Lisa-Loup et le Conteur, published in 2003.

Bass Armstrong (バース・アームストロング, Bāsu Āmusutorongu) is a retired professional wrestler and Tina's overprotective father. He is also the widower of Alicia Armstrong, who died of a disease when Tina was only six years old. He disapproves of Tina's aspirations of wanting to be a model (DOA2), a Hollywood actress (DOA3) and a rock star (DOA4). Consequently, he enters the DOA tournaments to put an end to her fame-seeking, only to fail at each attempt. In the fourth tournament, it is revealed that he intends to win so he would have enough money to enter the "Hyper Battle Grand Prix", which he then loses after seeing Tina's picture on a billboard and crashes into it after losing control of his bike. Like Tina in the English versions of the game, he, too, speaks with a Southern accent.

Lisa Selesner (born May 26, 1975), professionally known as Lisa S., is an American model, actress, and Channel V veejay and an international model based in Hong Kong.

She was born in Monaco to a French father and Peggy, a Jewish American mother, but grew up in New York where she was talent-scouted to be a model at age 14. S was raised by her mother and her stepfather, Gary, who is currently the president of Caesars Palace.

S grew up in the United States. She began modeling at age 14. She shortened her Selesner surname to S because, she said, after moving to Hong Kong in 2000, 'no one could pronounce it'. In Hong Kong she became a top model who lent her exotic looks to fashion catwalks and appeared in advertisements for brands like Citibank, De Beers diamonds, and Olay skincare. She has been described as a "bewitching designer-clad international model." She loves to travel. She hosted a lifestyle programme on TV in Hong Kong. She also starred in three Hong Kong movies: Silver Hawk (2004), Rob-B-Hood (2006) and A Mob Story (2007). She and her boyfriend have sometimes been involved in controversies where paparazzi photographers with telephoto lenses allegedly took pictures of them inside their home and published these pictures; one newspaper reported that they were "infuriated" over this invasion of privacy.
