Quotes:
Wayne Santley: I was just thinking about how different it is when you're not in the Army. You know, you're the first girl I've been this close to in over eight months.::Nora Blaine: Eight months in the wild and I picked you for a traveling companion?::Cole Fender: No cause for concern, Miss Blaine. I'm here to protect you.
Wayne Santley: [to Cole] How'd you get so good beatin' up women? You practice on kids and puppy dogs?
[Wayne and Nora kiss]::Wayne Santley: How am I doing?::Nora Blaine: Very sweet and tender.::Wayne Santley: You know, my barracks room buddies would be shocked to hear I'm sweet and, um, so on.
[Brad and Pawnee listen as Wayne kills a sentry armed with a rifle]::Brad Santley: One .44 shot, no Winchester.::Pawnee: Looks like your brother knew the password.
[Wayne has learned his brother is the leader of an outlaw gang]::Nora Blaine: The nighthawks have killed a lot of people; they'll keep on killing. You've got to tell the sheriff where to find them.::Wayne Santley: Do you know what you're asking?::Nora Blaine: When a man's hands are stained with blood, he forfeits all kinship rights.
Joe Emery: You didn't cotton to cattle raisin', huh?::Wayne Santley: Joe, you knew I wouldn't, didn't ya?::Joe Emery: Well, that's all behind ya now - leave it there. Never did believe in taking shadows into new territory.
Nora Blaine: You speak with considerable authority about sin. Are you, by chance, a preacher?::Jonathan: I am a duly ordained minister, young woman.::Nora Blaine: Is it not as much your duty to prevent sin as cast it out?::Jonathan: Such is the will of the Lord.::Nora Blaine: Then, if you will, we'd like you to marry us.
Molly: How's it up on the trap line? Is it safe enough for my Moose man all alone?::Wayne Santley: Well, Molly, there's a big grizzly robbin' all the traps, but he's due to hole up any day now.::Molly: Honey baby, I'm goin' with ya.::Moose: Aw, Molly, woman don't trap and kill fur animals!::Molly: Well, you do your trappin' and I'll just sit and watch for the grizzly. If he tries to bother my honey baby, I'll break his durn back!
Wayne Santley: Brad, I guess it's been a long time since either one of us has been inside a church, but something we learned there as kids you oughta remember it right now.::Brad Santley: Bible words don't fit my lips these days, Wayne.::Wayne Santley: I'm not ashamed of 'em, remember? "The Lord said, 'Where is they brother?" And Cain replied, 'Am I my brother's keeper?'"
Brad Santley: You know, they say that blood washes off gold, but I know better.

You could write several weighty university theses about Cádiz and still fall a mile short of nailing its essence. Old age accounts for much of the complexity. Cádiz is generally considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in Europe. Now well into its fourth millennium, the ancient centre, surrounded almost entirely by water, is a romantic hodgepodge of sinuous streets where Atlantic waves crash against eroded sea walls, municipal beaches stretch for miles, and rambunctious taverns echo with the sounds of cawing gulls and frying fish.
But old as it is, Cádiz has also proved to be durable and, ultimately, influential. Spain's first liberal constitution was signed here in 1812, while the city's distinctive urban model went on to provide an identikit for fortified Spanish colonial cities in the Americas. Indeed, the port with its crenellated sea walls and chunky forts is heavily reminiscent of Havana in Cuba or San Juan in Puerto Rico.
Enamoured return visitors to Cádiz talk fondly of its seafood, surfing and cache of intriguing churches and museums that inflict little, if any, damage on your wallet. More importantly, they wax lyrically about the gaditanos, an upfront and gregarious populace whose Carnaval is an exercise in ironic humour and whose upbeat flamenco songs (known as alegrías) will bring warmth to your heart.

I traveled with my boyfriend by car for 4 days and went to Alhambra (Granada), Gibraltar, Marbella (Malaga) and Cadiz.
We had a tent so we camp every night in a different place.
This was end of August so it was really hot! I loved it! :) Hope you enjoy the video.

Travel video about destination Andalusia in Spain.
Andalusia in southern Spain is a fantasy land situated between Europe and Africa. In Algarrobo, a white village close to the coast, time seems to have stood still. A place of both inspiration and contemplation. Since Phoenician times the earlier ‘Malaca’ was a busy trading port that was defended by the Castillo De Gibralforo. The Cathedral, also known as ‘La Manquita’, symbolises a catholic victory on the former site of a mosque. On the edge of the city centre is the Moorish fortress of Alcazaba that was once a fortified residence on the hills of Castillo. The second largest city in Andalusia also became known as the birthplace of its famous son, world famous artist Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Since the 1950‘s the modern coastal resort of Torremolinos has attracted mass tourism with a numerous variety of huge hotel skyscrapers, bars and restaurants. In the hilly inland area of the Costa Del Sol is the pretty white mountain village of Mijas. A small hilltop bullfight arena shines bright white along with the houses of the surrounding area. Marbella, the prima donna of the Costa Del Sol, serves as a rendezvous for the stars of stage and screen and a leisure resort for the international jet set. Another short excursion into the mountains near the coast leads to Casares, a sleepy mountain village crowned by the ruins of a Moorish Castle. During the Roman Carthaginian Wars Cadiz played an important role as a trading centre. After the Moors, came the Normans and in 1262, the city fell into the hands of the Christian king, Alfonso. Dreamy harbour towns, cultural metropolises with a Moorish past, Christian buildings and white villages. Beauty in the Garden Of Eden – that’s Andalusia!

Take a tour of Cadiz Cathedral in Cadiz, Spain -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
The Cadiz Cathedral in southern Spain is a bright, majestic site, located in the sunny region of Andalusia along the Atlantic Coast.
Completed in the 19th century, this cathedral took over one hundred years to build and represents both Baroque, and Neoclassical architecture with Rococo elements.
Upon entering the cathedral you'll find the tomb of a local composer, exhibitions focusing on the city of Cadiz, and delicately crafted religious artwork.
The exterior was constructed and embellished entirely in stone; the large golden dome, however, was lavishly created entirely of yellow tiles.
The top of the dome provides a resplendent panorama of the scenic town and gorgeous seascape.
Visit the cathedral either for its interior beauties and relics or for its exterior charm and city view.

On April 15, 2011 we made an excursion to Cadiz, Western Europe's oldest city which boasts a 3000 year history. Its slogan "the city that smiles" announces that Cadiz is a friendly place that also has a famous carnival. From the picturesque main square of Plaza San Juan de Dios, we walked to the massive cathedral and from there along the waterfront which often stands in for Havana's waterfront. We also climbed the 173 steps of the Torre Tavira to enjoy an amazing view over the whole city. Then we walked to the western end of the peninsula to the scenic Parque Genoves and the Alameda Apodaca to the Plaza de Espana and checked out the Renfe Railway Station before heading back to Conil.

Recorded August 19, 2008.
Cádiz is a city and port in southwestern Spain. It is the capital of the Cádiz Province, one of eight which make up the autonomous community of Andalusia. Cádiz, the oldest continuously-inhabited city in the Iberian Peninsula and possibly of all southwestern Europe, has been a principal home port of the Spanish Navy since the accession of the Spanish Bourbons in the 18th century. Despite its unique site -- on a narrow spit of land hemmed in by the sea -- Cádiz is, in most respects, a typically Andalusian city with a wealth of attractive vistas and well-preserved historical landmarks. The population of the city of Cádiz was 130,561, and that of its metropolitan area was 629,054. Cádiz is the seventeenth-largest Spanish city.
Cadiz was my first port of call on my 28-day cruise on the Sea Princess. My time in Cadiz was limited as I spent most of the day in Seville which is about 75 miles north of Cadiz. This video was shot almost entirely on board the Sea Princess. It covers our arrival just before sunrise and our departure at 6 P.M. that evening.

On April 16, 2011 we took the bus from Conil to Cadiz and then the ferry from Cadiz across the bay to Puerto de Santa Maria at the mouth of the Guadalete River. Two big cruise ships were anchored in the port of Cadiz, which is a popular destination for cruise liners. The wind was extremely strong and the ferry was swaying back and forth; people on deck were getting sprayed regularly with water. Once arrived in Puerto de Santa Maria, we started our stroll through this historic town which is part of Andalusia's Sherry Triangle. Famous sherry bodegas like Osborne, Terry and Caballero are located here. We checked out the famous seafood tapas, the old parochial church, the 13th century castle and the bullfighting arena which dates from 1880. By 5:30 pm we were back in Cadiz and visited the fortification of San Sebastian and took a pleasant evening stroll through this animated town.

We checked out the famous seafood tapas, the old parochial church, the 13th century castle and the bullfighting arena which dates from 1880. By 5:30 pm we were back in Cadiz and visited the fortification of San Sebastian and took a pleasant evening stroll through this animated town.

~~A Thousand Different Stories Unfolding All At Once~~
This is travel motion.
Time lapses from unlikely places
A series of moments from across the world.
Today we're showcasing: Cádiz, Spain.
The oldest city in Europe, Cádiz is full of surprises.
The streets radiate a sense of importance with walls constructed from the very sand surrounding it's beaches.
Walking down the streets you'll see locals selling fresh fish from buckets, shop owners smiling, and the best cream pastry you'll find in Andalusia.
We sat on it's picturesque beach for hours watching the locals bathe in sun and sand. We hope you'll enjoy watching them with us.

Travel video about destination Córdoba in Spain.
Cordoba was once the most important metropolis of the Caliphate and today is a city of harmony and contrast. It is a city in which the history of the Caliphs, Romans, Jews and Christians is still very much alive and was the centre of the Arab realm of Al-Andalus that reached its peak in around 1000 A.D.The Ponte Romana extends across the Gudalquivir and leads to the old town. With its sixteen arches the Roman bridge that spans across the river is one of the city’s main landmarks. The city’s most important building is the Mezquita Catedral in the centre of the old town. It is undoubtedly the most splendid mosque of Moorish Islamic origin on the Iberian Peninsula. Construction of the main mosque began in 785 A.D. during the rule of Abd-Ar-Rahman The First. The world’s third largest mosque was built on the site of a West Gothic Christian church that was built on the remains of a Roman temple. The Plaza Santa Marina dates back to the 17th century and was once used as a bull-fighting arena and also as a theatrical stage. Today it is frequently used as a marketplace. The striking monument of the famous Spanish toreador, Manolete, who was killed during a bullfight inside the arena, occupies a large section of the square. Mighty walls surround the Medina. Some of its old gates have survived such as the Puerta De Almodovar that leads into the Jewish quarter. Once known as a wealthy city, Cordoba was considered to be a worthy prize and was thus well protected and fortified. A combination of the Arabic, Jewish and Christian worlds, Cordoba is most deservedly the Pearl of Andalusia!
