On their latest episode of Trailer Mix, Mashable Watercooler created a interesting new trailer for the Rocky film series sequel, Creed, that imagines what the movie would have looked like if it were produced on VHS in the 1990s.
The Existential Questions That Arise When Pondering the Concept of Logical Paradoxes
In his first video since his cancer diagnosis, the indestructible Jake Roper of VSauce3, spoke about the incredibly existential questions that arose when he started thinking about logical paradoxes. To clarify his point, Roper described four different paradoxes – the Ship of Theseus paradox, the Sorites paradox, the Grelling–Nelson paradox and the teleportation paradox.
If that last one sounds familiar, it’s because we recently wrote about the wonderfully insightful CGP Grey video “The Trouble with Transporters”. It appears, in this case, that great minds were thinking alike, because both Roper and Grey separately came up with the same idea at or around the same time. A paradox of their own, yet it all worked out because both are consummate professionals.
BTW – welcome back Jake. We missed you and we’re glad you’re doing well.
