Resident of the Hoylu village of Goranboy region Afiga Aliyeva spoke at a news conference on Thursday about illegal actions of the head of the local municipality. According to her, in 2000, her family was given a land. All the members of the family agreed to give the land use right to Afiga's brother Atraf Aliyev.The site was rocky, and the family itself made the site usable. Later head of the municipality Adil Ibrahimov demanded Aliyev to sign a statement according to which the family guaranteed that they will not ask for another land. For more than 12 years the Aliyev family has not been able to get title to the land from the municipality. Moreover, in 2011 the head of the municipality sold 24 ars of their land to three other people: Agali Ismailov, Yunis Khalilov and Khasay Khalilov.
According to Afiga Aliyeva, it happened after her family refused to give bribe to the municipality head. When her father appealed to the Land Committee, he was told that there was no document confirming ownership of the land by the family.
At the same time, the head of the municipality made a document confirming the seizure of the land by Aliyevs. This summer, three citizens filed a lawsuit against Aliyevs in the Goranboy Court, arguing that the family grabbed their land. In turn, the Aliyev family appealed to the Ganja Administrative-Economic Court, which confirmed that the land belongs to them. Later Ganja Appeals Court upheld the three above-named persons' right to the land.
According to Afiga Aliyeva, her brother, Karabakh war veteran Atraf Aliyev and their mother were subjected to physical pressure by the head of the municipality Adil Ibrahimov outside the court building. Afiga Aliyeva says that the forensic-medicine department confirmed the assault, however refused to issue legal opinion when they were aware that the injuries were inflicted by Adil Ibrahimov.
Aliyevs family appealed to the Supreme Court with cassation complaint, which is to be considered on November 21.

Rural municipality
A rural municipality, often abbreviated RM, is a form of municipality in the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, perhaps best comparable to counties or townships in the western United States. Unlike most counties in the United States or Canada, rural municipalities specifically exclude designated official cities, towns, villages, and First Nations Indian reserves from their territory. They are essentially the rural portion of what would normally be a county. In this way, they could perhaps best be compared to certain counties in the state of Virginia that have independent cities excluded from their territory, although, in Virginia there is usually only one independent city per county, whereas there can be many officially excluded communities in the geographical territory of rural municipalities.
History
The Municipal Ordinance of 1883 was enacted by the North-West Territories to provide services to a rural area and provide some means of municipal governing. Saskatchewan and Alberta became provinces in 1905. North West Territorial Government issues Statute Labour Ordinance (1897) and sets of Fire Districts, Statute Labour and Fire (SLF) Districts or Statute Labour Districts. Community residents could pay taxes or supply a couple days per quarter section labour constructing roads, bridges, fireguards instead of paying taxes. The prairie fire in the 19th century were devastating affairs. Fire districts were later called Local Improvement Districts which themselves were reformed into Rural Municipalities.

Battle of Frenchman's Butte
Frenchman Butte No. 501, Saskatchewan
Frenchman Butte
Frenchman Butte is a butte located 45 km northeast of Lloydminster, is named after a Frenchman who was killed there by Indians in the 19th century. It is not known how or why this man was murdered. This was also the site of the Battle of Frenchman's Butte between Major-General Thomas Bland Strange and Cree Chief Big Bear.
The site of the battle was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1929.

It is composed of the descendants of Muhammad bin Saud and his brothers, though the ruling faction of the family is primarily led by the descendants of Abdulaziz Ibn Saud.
The most influential member of the Royal family is the King of Saudi Arabia, currently King Salman. The throne was designed to pass from one son of the first king, Ibn Saud, to another. His deputy Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is also from the ruling House of Saud, and the king-appointed cabinet includes more members of the royal family. While the monarchy is hereditary now, future Saudi kings will be chosen by a committee of Saudi princes, in line with a 2006 Royal Decree.
The family is estimated to be composed of 15,000 members, but the majority of the power and wealth is possessed by a group of only about 2,000.
The House of Saud has gone through three phases: the First Saudi State, the Second Saudi State, and the modern nation of Saudi Arabia. The First Saudi State marked the expansion of Wahhabism. The Second Saudi State was marked with continuous infighting. Modern Saudi Arabia wields considerable influence in the Middle East. The family has had conflicts with the Ottoman Empire, the Sharif of Mecca, the Al Rashid family of Ha'il, and numerous Islamist groups both inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
The head of the House of Saud is the King of Saudi Arabia who serves as Head of State and monarch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The King holds almost absolute political power. The King appoints ministers to his cabinet who supervise their respective ministries in his name. The key ministries of Defence, the Interior, and Foreign Affairs are reserved for the Al Saud, as are most of the thirteen regional governorships. It is composed of the descendants of Muhammad bin Saud and his brothers, though the ruling faction of the family is primarily led by the descendants of Abdulaziz Ibn Saud.
The most influential member of the Royal family is the King of Saudi Arabia, currently King Salman. The throne was designed to pass from one son of the first king, Ibn Saud, to another. His deputy Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is also from the ruling House of Saud, and the king-appointed cabinet includes more members of the royal family. While the monarchy is hereditary now, future Saudi kings will be chosen by a committee of Saudi princes, in line with a 2006 Royal Decree.
The family is estimated to be composed of 15,000 members, but the majority of the power and wealth is possessed by a group of only about 2,000.
The House of Saud has gone through three phases: the First Saudi State, the Second Saudi State, and the modern nation of Saudi Arabia. The First Saudi State marked the expansion of Wahhabism. The Second Saudi State was marked with continuous infighting. Modern Saudi Arabia wields considerable influence in the Middle East. The family has had conflicts with the Ottoman Empire, the Sharif of Mecca, the Al Rashid family of Ha'il, and numerous Islamist groups both inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
The head of the House of Saud is the King of Saudi Arabia who serves as Head of State and monarch of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The King holds almost absolute political power. The King appoints ministers to his cabinet who supervise their respective ministries in his name. The key ministries of Defence, the Interior, and Foreign Affairs are reserved for the Al Saud, as are most of the thirteen regional governorships. Most portfolios, however, such as Finance, Labor, Information, Planning, Petroleum Affairs and Industry, have traditionally been given to commoners, often with junior Al Saud members serving as their deputies. House of Saud family members also hold many of the Kingdom's critical military and governmental departmental posts. Ultimate power in the Kingdom has always rested upon the Al Saud, though support from the Ulema, the merchant community, and the population at large has been key to the maintenance of the royal family's political status quo.
Long term political and government appointments, such as those of King Abdullah, who was Commander of the National Guard from 1963 to 2010, former Crown Prince Sultan, who was Minister of Defence and Aviation from 1962 until his death in 2011, Prince Mutaib Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs from 1975 to 2009, former Crown Prince Nayef who was the Minister of Interior from 1975 to 2012, and the current King Salman, who was governor of the Riyadh Region from 1963 to 2011, have perpetuated the creation of fiefdoms where senior princes have, often, though not exclusively, co-mingled their personal wealth with that of their respective domains. They have often appointed their own sons to senior positions within their own fiefdom. Examples of these include Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah as assistant commander in the National Guard until 2010; Prince Khalid bin Sultan as assistant minister of defence until 2013; Prince Mansour bin Mutaib as assistant minister for Municipal and Rural Affairs until he replaced his father in 2009; and Prince Mohammed bin Nayef as assistant minister in the Interior Ministry. In cases, where portfolios have notably substantial budgets, appointments of younger, often full, brothers have been necessary, as deputies or vice ministers, ostensibly to share the wealth and the burdens of responsibility, of each fiefdom. Examples of these include Prince Abdul Rahman who was vice minister of defence and aviation under Prince Sultan; Prince Badr, deputy to King Abdullah in the National Guard; Prince Sattam, who was Deputy Riyadh Governor during King Salman's term; and Prince Ahmed, who held the deputy minister's portfolio under Prince Nayef's interior ministry.

Miejscowość należała do hrabstwa kłodzkiego. W latach 1945–1954 była także siedzibą wiejskiej gminy Polanica Zdrój.
W latach 1975–1998 miasto należało administracyjnie do województwa wałbrzyskiego.
Polanica-Zdrój jest położona u wylotu przełomowej Piekielnej Doliny, przez którą przepływa Bystrzyca Dusznicka, wpływająca do Nysy Kłodzkiej. Północna i środkowa cześć miasta leży u wschodniego podnóża stoliwa Szczytnika w Górach Stołowych, zaś południowa na zboczu Kamiennej Góry, Stogu w Górach Bystrzyckich oraz Zagajnika.
Sąsiednie gminy: Bystrzyca Kłodzka, Kłodzko, Szczytna.
Miasto leży na granicy Gór Stołowych, Gór Bystrzyckich i Kotliny Kłodzkiej. Do tego obszaru dotarł lądolód skandynawski w okresie zlodowacenia staropolskiego, czego dowodzą licznie występujące osady czwartorzędowe, pokrywające doliny rzeczne. Okoliczne wzniesienia ukształtowane są głównie z górnokredowych piaskowców.

It is located in the valley Bystrica Dusznicka foothills of the Hell Mountain (south-eastern edge of the Table Mountains), and the southern part of the city (district Sokołówka) on the slopes of mountains Bystrzyckie in the near Stone Mountain.
City belonged to the earldom. In the years 1945-1954 was also the seat of a rural municipality Polanica Zdroj.
In the years 1975-1998 the town administratively belonged to the province of Wałbrzych.
Polanica-Zdroj is located at the mouth of groundbreaking Hell Valley, through which flows Bystrica Dusznicka, flowing into the Nysa Kłodzka. Northern and central part of the city lies at the eastern foot of Mesas Szczytnik in Table Mountains, while on the southern side of Stone Mountain, Haystack in mountains and forests, and the Grove.
Neighbouring municipalities Bystrica Klodzka, Klodzko, Szczytno.
The city lies on the border of the Table Mountains, Bystrzyckie and Klodzko Valley. This area reached Scandinavian continental glacier during the Ice Age staropolskiego, as evidenced by the numerous existing Quaternary sediments covering river valleys. The surrounding hills are formed mainly from the Upper Cretaceous sandstones.
