Brown University senior linemates Nick Lappin and Mark Naclerio are moving on to the pro ranks.
Right winger Lappin has agreed to a two-year NHL contract with the New Jersey Devils, while Naclerio signed with the Providence Bruins.
Lappin, 23, who led Brown with 17 goals and 33 points during the 2015-16 season, had interest from eight to 10 NHL teams before choosing New Jersey.
He will report to Albany of the American Hockey League.
He earned first team All-Ivy honors and finished his Brown career with 51 goals and 55 assists for 106 career points in 123 games.
Lappin will join Yann Danis, Bobby Farnham and Matt Lorito as Brown alums under contract with New Jersey.
Naclerio, 23, signed an amateur tryout agreement with the P-Bruins and will join the team today. He is expected to ink an AHL contract for the 2016-17.
A center, Naclerio scored five goals and 22 points as Brown's captain in 15-16. He finished his Brown career with 103 points in 129 games.
