Arnel Pineda was born in Sampaloc, Manila, in the Philippines. His mother instilled his love for singing at an early age, encouraging him to sing along to songs from her favorite singers like Karen Carpenter and Barbra Streisand. Growing up, his parents entered him in many singing contests.
His mother, who had been suffering from rheumatic heart disease, died when he was thirteen. Her illness had left their family deep in debt. Being a year behind on their rented apartment and unable to sufficiently provide for the family, his father decided to move out and ask relatives to take in Pineda's siblings. To ease his father's burden, Pineda quit school and volunteered to strike out on his own.
For about two years his life was spent out on the streets, sleeping wherever he could: in public parks, or on a narrow bench outside a friend's crowded house. He earned meager money by collecting glass bottles, newspapers, and scrap metal and selling them to recyclers. He would also go to the pier with his friends and take on odd jobs like cleaning scrap metal and docked ships. He didn't have much to eat, sometimes rationing a small package of biscuit as his meal for two days. Despite all these hardships he tried to remain optimistic about his future.

METAMORPHOSIS is the project of Swiss composer/keyboardist/drummer Jean-Pierre Schenk, born in 1953. At age 19, he learned to play drums on his own. In 1971, alongwith guitarist Giovanni Esposito, he created the band NATURE whose music was very much inspired by PINK FLOYD. Years later NATURE split up. In 2001, Schenk and Esposito joined forces again and invited bassist Dominique Schlafer aboard. Guitarist David Grillon and flutist Milena Zaharieva appear on their first album. Their first project “After all these years” was released in November 2002. All of METAMORPHOSIS' albums still bear a strong Floydian streak, with shades of ELOY and especially ALAN PARSONS- extremely laid-back music, even melancholic, full of magnificent keyboards and wailing guitars.

James Taylor was born in Boston, MA in 1948. His father was a doctor, and his three siblings Alex, Livingston, and Hugh, were all musicians in their own right. In 1951, the family moved to North Carolina when Dr. Taylor was made the dean of the medical school at UNC Chapel Hill.
As a child, James studied cello, but in 1960, he started teaching himself how to play guitar. Three years later, he headed back to New England to attend prep school at the Milton Academy in Massachusettes. During a holiday on Martha's Vineyard, he met Danny "Kooch" Kotchmar, and the two began playing music together.
When he was 16, Taylor formed a band with his brother Alex and quit the Milton Academy. He also moved to New York and began experiencing severe depression. Taylor checked himself into a Massachusettes hospital, where he was treated for depression and began writing more intensely.
After his release from the hospital, Taylor returned to New York and had a short run with a band called The Flying Machine. The band broke up in 1967 and, in an attempt to kick what had become a heroine addiction, Taylor moved to London the following year. There, he managed to get a record deal with Apple Records (the Beatles), for whom he recorded his first album.
Later, after a motorcycle accident wherein he injured both his hands, Taylor signed with Warner Brothers Records, moved to California, and started work on his second album Sweet Baby James, which spawned the huge hit "Fire & Rain" and helped to bring his debut album back into popularity.
In 1972, James Taylor married fellow singer/songwriter Carly Simon, and the two were divorced eleven years later. In 1985, he remarried to Kathryn Walker.
Since then, he has toured almost tirelessly around the world, and has received Grammy Awards and nominations, and has been inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. This week marks 3 years since I graduated from high school and 20 years since my favourite band (Silverchair!!) released their first single... Crazy how time flies.

All These Years
"All These Years" is a song written by Mac McAnally, originally recorded on his 1992 album Live and Learn. It was later recorded by American country music group Sawyer Brown. It was released in November 1992 as the second single from their album Cafe on the Corner. Their version peaked at 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart, in addition to being a minor AC hit, peaking at 42 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart.
Content
The song opens with the story with a wife having an affair, and her husband catching her in the act. Instead of getting angry at her, he blames himself for being absent and neglectful and asks her "Don't you rub it in too hard that I've been wrong."
They argue, and the wife begins to admit her own guilt in the failing marriage -- "There's some things you refuse to see; But I guess sometimes so do I." She takes account of the family they made together, and sees how much she stands to lose by cheating on the marriage.

And I
"And I" is a song written by American R&B singer Ciara, and produced by Adonis Shropshire for Ciara's first album, Goodies (2004). It was released as the album's fourth and final single on August 30, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in North America.
The song was originally the third choice for the fourth single. Ciara has mentioned in an interview that "Thug Style", "Hotline" or "Pick up the Phone" would be the fourth single, but when Ciara suggested "And I" to executives at her previous record label LaFace, they were unhappy because they wanted "Next to You" to be the fourth single.
Chart performance
At the time of the U.S. release of "And I", Ciara's collaboration with Bow Wow, "Like You", and her collaboration with Missy Elliott, "Lose Control", were at the height of their popularity. "And I" peaked at 96 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and 27 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, which were poor positions compared to those attained by the first three singles from the album Goodies. It was not released outside North America because of this, and it is Ciara's least successful single.

A year is the orbital period of the Earth moving in its orbit around the Sun. Arnel Pineda was born in Sampaloc, Manila, in the Philippines. His mother instilled his love for singing at an early age, encouraging him to sing along to songs from her favorite singers like Karen Carpenter and Barbra Streisand. Growing up, his parents entered him in many singing contests.
His mother, who had been suffering from rheumatic heart disease, died when he was thirteen. Her illness had left their family deep in debt. Being a year behind on their rented apartment and unable to sufficiently provide for the family, his father decided to move out and ask relatives to take in Pineda's siblings. To ease his father's burden, Pineda quit school and volunteered to strike out on his own.
For about two years his life was spent out on the streets, sleeping wherever he could: in public parks, or on a narrow bench outside a friend's crowded house. He earned meager money by collecting glass bottles, newspapers, and scrap metal and selling them to recyclers. He would also go to the pier with his friends and take on odd jobs like cleaning scrap metal and docked ships. He didn't have much to eat, sometimes rationing a small package of biscuit as his meal for two days. Despite all these hardships he tried to remain optimistic about his future.

In 1971, alongwith guitarist Giovanni Esposito, he created the band NATURE whose music was very much inspired by PINK FLOYD. Years later NATURE split up. In 2001, Schenk and Esposito joined forces again and invited bassist Dominique Schlafer aboard. Guitarist David Grillon and flutist Milena Zaharieva appear on their first album. Their first project “After all these years” was released in November 2002. All of METAMORPHOSIS' albums still bear a strong Floydian streak, with shades of ELOY and especially ALAN PARSONS- extremely laid-back music, even melancholic, full of magnificent keyboards and wailing guitars.

James Taylor was born in Boston, MA in 1948. His father was a doctor, and his three siblings Alex, Livingston, and Hugh, were all musicians in their own right. In 1951, the family moved to North Carolina when Dr. Taylor was made the dean of the medical school at UNC Chapel Hill.
As a child, James studied cello, but in 1960, he started teaching himself how to play guitar. Three years later, he headed back to New England to attend prep school at the Milton Academy in Massachusettes. During a holiday on Martha's Vineyard, he met Danny "Kooch" Kotchmar, and the two began playing music together.
When he was 16, Taylor formed a band with his brother Alex and quit the Milton Academy. He also moved to New York and began experiencing severe depression. Taylor checked himself into a Massachusettes hospital, where he was treated for depression and began writing more intensely.
After his release from the hospital, Taylor returned to New York and had a short run with a band called The Flying Machine. The band broke up in 1967 and, in an attempt to kick what had become a heroine addiction, Taylor moved to London the following year. There, he managed to get a record deal with Apple Records (the Beatles), for whom he recorded his first album.
Later, after a motorcycle accident wherein he injured both his hands, Taylor signed with Warner Brothers Records, moved to California, and started work on his second album Sweet Baby James, which spawned the huge hit "Fire & Rain" and helped to bring his debut album back into popularity.
In 1972, James Taylor married fellow singer/songwriter Carly Simon, and the two were divorced eleven years later. In 1985, he remarried to Kathryn Walker.
Since then, he has toured almost tirelessly around the world, and has received Grammy Awards and nominations, and has been inducted into both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. After 15 years, Gangotri would be free of any danger. When nobody could entertain the child Gangotri, Simhadri - the son of Narasimha - entertains her with a song. Simhadri becomes a servant and friend to Gangotri. They grow up together. In the mean time mother of Simhadri sacrifices her life to save Neelakantam. When Gangotri attains puberty, Gangotri's aunt restricts Simhadri from meeting Gangotri. Gangotri and Simhadri realize that they are in love. When Simhadri comes to Gangotri's place clandestinely to meet her, they are caught by Neelakantam. Neelakantam beats Simhadri. Meanwhile, Narasimha comes to the spot and interferes. This causes a rift between Neelakantam and Narasimha. Neelakantam is misinformed about Narasimha's intentions; hence he has bombs planted in the house of Narasimha. Simhadri is away at that time. When Simhadri comes to know that Neelakantam is responsible for the bombing, he comes to Neelakantam's house and challenges that he will marry Gangotri in 365 days. Enjoy this award winning short film by the talented Yufeng Li! Synopsis: In the year of 2058, Beijing becomes uninhabitable due to air pollution and sandstorms. People are forced to live underground, including a teenage girl. The girl wants to see her sister working above-ground and she sets out with two robotic friends: an intelligent sports car and a teddy bear. However, their joinery to the ground is not as easy as expected.
Director's Background:
This is my Thesis film for Pratt Institute MFA. All visual effects and the story are created by myself.
I was born in China, 1990 and began to learn 3ds Max at the age of 10. After years of learning, I became a 3d generalist adept in 3d animation, modeling, rendering, VFX and post-production. Then I began to engage in independent 3d animation film production.
Besides generating exciting and creative visual effects, I always try to use my animated works to show my concern about social issues, such as human rights and environmental problems.
I received MFA degree of Digital Arts Animation in Pratt Institute in 2015 and I currently live and work in New York.

Neelakanta Naidu (Prakash Raj) is a big factionist. He has a loyal confidant called Narasimha (Suman), who is willing to give his life for the sake of his master. After many years, Neelakanta's wife gives a birth to a baby daughter. But all the earlier babies born to Neelakanta Naidu died due to some unknown reason. The priests advise Neelakanta to name his daughter as 'Gangotri' (Aditi Agarwal). They also warn Neelakanta that the child has 'jalagandam', hence they ask Neelakanta to take Gangotri to the holy place of Gangotri in Himalayas and perform the 'abhyangana snanam' (bathe with turmeric, milk, etc.) for the next 15 years. After 15 years, Gangotri would be free of any danger. When nobody could entertain the child Gangotri, Simhadri (Allu Arjun) - the son of Narasimha - entertains her with a song. Simhadri becomes a servant and friend to Gangotri. They grow up together. In the mean time mother of Simhadri (Seeta) sacrifices her life to save Neelakantam. When Gangotri attains puberty, Gangotri's aunt (Sakuntala) restricts Simhadri from meeting Gangotri. Gangotri and Simhadri realize that they are in love. When Simhadri comes to Gangotri's place clandestinely to meet her, they are caught by Neelakantam. Neelakantam beats Simhadri. Meanwhile, Narasimha comes to the spot and interferes. This causes a rift between Neelakantam and Narasimha. Neelakantam is misinformed about Narasimha's intentions; hence he has bombs planted in the house of Narasimha. Simhadri is away at that time. When Simhadri comes to know that Neelakantam is responsible for the bombing, he comes to Neelakantam's house and challenges that he will marry Gangotri in 365 days. Then Simhadri goes to the holy place Gangotri and waits for his ladylove to come there for the final sacred bath. The rest of the film is about how Simhadri and Gangotri unite.
