Nick or Nicholas Miller may refer to:
Nicholas "Nick" Miller (born 1 May 1993) is a British track and field athlete who specialises in the hammer throw. He was the silver medallist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the gold medal at the 2015 European Athletics U23 Championships. He holds the British record of 77.55 m (254 ft 5 in) for the event.
He represented Great Britain at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Athletics and the 2013 European Athletics U23 Championships. He studied at Oklahoma State University and is a five-time Big 12 Conference champion (three times in hammer, twice in weight throw). His personal best in the weight throw of 23.07 m (75 ft 81⁄4 in) is the British record. He is also a two-time runner-up at the NCAA Championships.
Born and raised in Carlisle, Cumbria, the son of Debra Brewer and Leonard Miller, he became interested in athletics after working with Jack Harper-Tarr, a physical education teacher and athletics judge. Miller began training in throwing events at the local club, Border Harriers & Athletics Club, where Harper-Tarr coached. Miller preferred individual sports and also took part in karate, winning a national youth age-category competition. Initially, he competed in a variety of track and field throwing events, but he became increasingly interested in the hammer throw after seeing a rival youngster throw beyond sixty metres.
Nickelous "Nick" Miller (born March 29, 1987 in Mesa, Arizona) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Southern Utah.
Miller has also played for the St. Louis Rams.
Miller played high school football at Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona. He was a 1st Team All-Region wide receiver; and a 2nd Team All-State honoree and 1st Team All-Tribune selection at defensive back. Miller recorded up 656 receiving yards and eight touchdowns during his senior season. He also intercepted five passes and helped his team to an East Valley region championship.
Miller also lettered in baseball and track.
After transferring from Scottsdale Community College, Miller became a starting wide receiver at Southern Utah University in 2007. He set an SUU record with 41 kickoff returns for 914 yards. He also finished second on the team in receptions and receiving yards, with 35 catches for 435 yards and a touchdown. In addition to the 19 carries he had for 50 yards, he also led the team with 19 punt returns for 175 yards.
