Una Pompeya de cristales nos dejó el último invierno, a nosotros constructores de páramos eternos. El granizo de nuestros ojos unió los extramuros del mundo donde supimos encontrarnos sin buscarnos, dos historias inconclusas y un solo accidente.
Supe habitar las ventiscas de tu boca y escalar esas sonrisas itinerantes sin la necesidad de mantas piojosas sobre los hombros. Tronchado de ocasos rastreros, las estalactitas en mi espalda son vestigio de horrores inacabados, aferradas a mi piel como la escarcha a tu cabello, como la aurora a los desvelos que compartimos en la complicidad del presente, admirando las estatuas de hielo de los que quisieron conquistar nuestras cumbres y no pudieron con la muerte que habita en nuestras laderas pedregosas.
Pájaros taciturnos van siguiendo nuestros cantos amargos, como hilachas hilvanando una tristeza ecuménica, terrible en su realidad y su presencia: la tristeza que chorrea de las espinas de tu vientre cada vez que me rasgan las manos y los andrajos en los que habito en este páramo. El frío acechante, rumiante de despedidas y olor de hospitales va cercándonos paulatinamente el horizonte, observando inexorable como se rozan las cuchillas, inconmovible ante las ortigas que nos van repletando la garganta a cada tranco que damos.
El invierno se detuvo en el momento exacto...
Antaño macisos incólumes, bastó echarnos a andar por el mismo sendero para comprender el dolor como lo inevitable, lo bellamente inevitable. En la lejanía los témpanos, en la cercanía los muros; la vida, cual matarife en instalaciones mohosas, secciona cada pedazo que sirva a la industria del fracaso. Despedregado, transito por tus aceras heladas recogiendo tus esperanzas, cobijándolas en mis bolsillos cual reliquias de épocas remotas, cuando nuestros pasos convergieron al alero del humo, el bullicio de bares y estaciones de trenes.
Trapecistas buscando el equilibrio entre los cortes y el frío. Dos erizos evitando la muerte en medio de la tormenta. De pupilas escarchadas y gélido andar nos constituimos, buscando la distancia precisa entre nuestras espinas y los témpanos. Será nuestro calor contra los designios de la estepa...
Si el hielo tus ojos conquistó, en la tundra hoy tiemblo y sangro.

"Hubieron mejores días... eso está claro.
Luego de vaciar la última lata de cerveza, me vi obligado a evitar el vacío que surgía entre las risotadas de los amigos...
El anonimato que da la ciudad siempre será el mejor escondite para las acciones más bajas, y en esta ciudad indiferente que nos desangra a diario es aún más fácil...
Caer en sus brazos, ahora que faltan los tuyos... ahora que la distancia pinta de colores vivos cada momento que compartimos, cada circunstancia en la que nos vimos envueltos, cada palabra que nunca nos atrevimos a decir...
Echarse a andar por la ciudad es fácil... escupir asco a las vitrinas y a los bancos, al capitalismo insolente que liquida mierda mientras la gente se caga de frio por las noches, a la interperie... a los oficinistas apresurados que caminan raudos, descargando su frustración en leves topones con el resto de la masa inerte que transita por Ahumada... Estado... Bandera... da igual... esto parece un carrusel del que es imposible bajarse...
Hubieron mejores días... no era necesario refugiarse en los antros más horrendos con gente de dudosa procedencia... no era necesario caer en los brazos de las ninfas borrachas tan seguidamente... no era necesario nada de esto, pero tampoco era necesario lo nuestro... ahora que lo pienso, sentado junto a viejitos que alimentan a las palomas y ven la muerte tras sus últimos días.
Levantarse, andar sin rumbo... años atras esta ciudad tenía más colores... o mis ojos tenían más colores ante tu prisma... da igual... los periódicos siguen anunciando la misma mierda de siempre y el carrusel sigue andando, rutilante pero seguro en su inseguridad.
Los días se suceden, nada cambia, nada aparte de que ya no estás acá... en serio, podría contar las veces que juré verte doblar una esquina, tomar locomoción o perderte entre el estruendo de bocinazos y muchedumbre...
da igual, lo cierto es que nada puede sacarte de mi cabeza;a tí, Galatea, que poco a poco te fuiste volviendo la estatua inerte que siempre fuiste."

Aspasia (/æˈspeɪziə/ or /æˈspeɪʒə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀσπασία; ca. 470 BC–ca. 400 BC) was a Milesian woman who was famous for her involvement with the Athenian statesman Pericles. Very little is known about the details of her life. She spent most of her adult life in Athens, and she may have influenced Pericles and Athenian politics. She is mentioned in the writings of Plato, Aristophanes, Xenophon, and other authors of the day.
Ancient writers also reported that Aspasia was a brothel keeper and a harlot, although these accounts are disputed by modern scholars, on the grounds that many of the writers were comic poets concerned with defaming Pericles. Some researchers question even the historical tradition that she was a hetaera, or courtesan, and have suggested that she may actually have been married to Pericles. Aspasia had a son by Pericles, Pericles the Younger, who later became a general in the Athenian military and was executed after the Battle of Arginusae. She is believed to have become the courtesan of Lysicles, another Athenian statesman and general, following the death of Pericles the Elder.

El Post Rock de La Raza de los Cabizbajos, el Post Hardcore unortodoxo de Karatekid! y el Punk Rock experimental de Aspasia no son excluyentes, muy por el contrario, la autogestión y el gusto por expresar a través de la música lo que a veces no se puede por medio de las palabras han hecho posible este viaje compartido en el mismo tren, ese que va con dirección a tus oídos, a tu corazón. Esta colaboración interregional entre La Raza de los Cabizbajos, Aspasia y Karatekid! está pensada como un regalo. No dudes en regalarlo a la gente que estimes (a la que no, también). Posibilidades de acción basadas en este disco abundan: terrorismo sonoro en alguna discoteca donde estos sonidos derroquen al totalitarismo reggaetonero, música de ambiente para situaciones y melodramas variados, o bien la excusa perfecta para abrir una cerveza, relajarse cuando el sol se está escondiendo, y sencillamente pensar en lo bonito y lo feo de la vida. Una Pompeya de cristales nos dejó el último invierno, a nosotros constructores de páramos eternos. El granizo de nuestros ojos unió los extramuros del mundo donde supimos encontrarnos sin buscarnos, dos historias inconclusas y un solo accidente.
Supe habitar las ventiscas de tu boca y escalar esas sonrisas itinerantes sin la necesidad de mantas piojosas sobre los hombros. Tronchado de ocasos rastreros, las estalactitas en mi espalda son vestigio de horrores inacabados, aferradas a mi piel como la escarcha a tu cabello, como la aurora a los desvelos que compartimos en la complicidad del presente, admirando las estatuas de hielo de los que quisieron conquistar nuestras cumbres y no pudieron con la muerte que habita en nuestras laderas pedregosas.
Pájaros taciturnos van siguiendo nuestros cantos amargos, como hilachas hilvanando una tristeza ecuménica, terrible en su realidad y su presencia: la tristeza que chorrea de las espinas de tu vientre cada vez que me rasgan las manos y los andrajos en los que habito en este páramo. El frío acechante, rumiante de despedidas y olor de hospitales va cercándonos paulatinamente el horizonte, observando inexorable como se rozan las cuchillas, inconmovible ante las ortigas que nos van repletando la garganta a cada tranco que damos.
El invierno se detuvo en el momento exacto...
Antaño macisos incólumes, bastó echarnos a andar por el mismo sendero para comprender el dolor como lo inevitable, lo bellamente inevitable. En la lejanía los témpanos, en la cercanía los muros; la vida, cual matarife en instalaciones mohosas, secciona cada pedazo que sirva a la industria del fracaso. Despedregado, transito por tus aceras heladas recogiendo tus esperanzas, cobijándolas en mis bolsillos cual reliquias de épocas remotas, cuando nuestros pasos convergieron al alero del humo, el bullicio de bares y estaciones de trenes.
Trapecistas buscando el equilibrio entre los cortes y el frío. Dos erizos evitando la muerte en medio de la tormenta. De pupilas escarchadas y gélido andar nos constituimos, buscando la distancia precisa entre nuestras espinas y los témpanos. Será nuestro calor contra los designios de la estepa...

El anonimato que da la ciudad siempre será el mejor escondite para las acciones más bajas, y en esta ciudad indiferente que nos desangra a diario es aún más fácil...
Caer en sus brazos, ahora que faltan los tuyos... ahora que la distancia pinta de colores vivos cada momento que compartimos, cada circunstancia en la que nos vimos envueltos, cada palabra que nunca nos atrevimos a decir...
Echarse a andar por la ciudad es fácil... escupir asco a las vitrinas y a los bancos, al capitalismo insolente que liquida mierda mientras la gente se caga de frio por las noches, a la interperie... a los oficinistas apresurados que caminan raudos, descargando su frustración en leves topones con el resto de la masa inerte que transita por Ahumada... Estado... Bandera... da igual... esto parece un carrusel del que es imposible bajarse...
Hubieron mejores días... no era necesario refugiarse en los antros más horrendos con gente de dudosa procedencia... no era necesario caer en los brazos de las ninfas borrachas tan seguidamente... no era necesario nada de esto, pero tampoco era necesario lo nuestro... ahora que lo pienso, sentado junto a viejitos que alimentan a las palomas y ven la muerte tras sus últimos días.
Levantarse, andar sin rumbo... años atras esta ciudad tenía más colores... o mis ojos tenían más colores ante tu prisma... da igual... los periódicos siguen anunciando la misma mierda de siempre y el carrusel sigue andando, rutilante pero seguro en su inseguridad.
Los días se suceden, nada cambia, nada aparte de que ya no estás acá... en serio, podría contar las veces que juré verte doblar una esquina, tomar locomoción o perderte entre el estruendo de bocinazos y muchedumbre...
da igual, lo cierto es que nada puede sacarte de mi cabeza;a tí, Galatea, que poco a poco te fuiste volviendo la estatua inerte que siempre fuiste."

Las ideas se agolpan, las manos se acalambran y sin darnos cuenta, la guitarra ya se encuentra vomitando sonidos nuevos.
Con paupérrimos recursos, pero con todos los sentidos involucrados, cristalizamos las emociones que transmutaron en acordes, disonías, la entropía del alma liberada en una nueva canción.
No tenemos ni queremos dinero. Los sonidos que aquí te presentamos se gestan desde la autogestión, desde la necesidad misma de sacarse la música del corazón como terapia, como pasatiempo, como oficio...
Desde sonoridades distintas confluímos en el mismo sitio. El Post Rock de La Raza de los Cabizbajos, el Post Hardcore unortodoxo de Karatekid! y el Punk Rock experimental de Aspasia no son excluyentes, muy por el contrario, la autogestión y el gusto por expresar a través de la música lo que a veces no se puede por medio de las palabras han hecho posible este viaje compartido en el mismo tren, ese que va con dirección a tus oídos, a tu corazón.
Esta colaboración interregional entre La Raza de los Cabizbajos, Aspasia y Karatekid! está pensada como un regalo. No dudes en regalarlo a la gente que estimes (a la que no, también). Posibilidades de acción basadas en este disco abundan: terrorismo sonoro en alguna discoteca donde estos sonidos derroquen al totalitarismo reggaetonero, música de ambiente para situaciones y melodramas variados, o bien la excusa perfecta para abrir una cerveza, relajarse cuando el sol se está escondiendo, y sencillamente pensar en lo bonito y lo feo de la vida.

Aspasia who is now 19 years old, was shot 2 times on the head by her own father on august 2013 in Argos ,Greece. During his visit George Stathoulis experienced the first meeting of Aspasia and Mike, who is going to be the first assistance- service dog in Greece for Aspasia. During a short interview , he talked to us about service dogs in the united states and how useful they are to people with disabilities for decades. He promised that he will support Nina Service Dogs and our wounded angel Aspasia. We thank him a lot.
