Talento de Barrio es una película de acción, crimen, drama y música estrenada el 13 de agosto de 2008. El actor principal es el cantante puertorriqueño de reggaetón, Daddy Yankee. Está dirigida por José Iván Santiago y producida por George Rivera y Ángel M. Sanjurjo. Se filmó en el Residencial Gautier Benítez, Caguas, Barrios de Puerto nuevo, Puerto Rico y en los Estados Unidos.
Daddy Yankee actúa como Édgar, o también llamado "[Dinero]". Es un joven que vive en los caseríos de Puerto Rico pero esta harto de la violencia que hay en el caserío en el cual vive el. Sobre aquel camino Édgar encuentra la interrupción entre su pandilla (Ñetas), enamorándose de una muchacha a quien Édgar debe ocultarle su unión con su grupo de barrio.Pronto Edgar se encuentra con su mejor amigo que había salido de la cárcel hace poco , Edgar lo integra a su caserío.Pero Edgar no sabe lo que trama, ya que se ve que tiene contacto con el jefe del caserío quien fue responsable de un tiroteo que hubo en el caserío de Edgar que terminó con la muerte de una niña.Pero Edgar se va fijando bien en Jayco,y ya no lo considera su amigo porque más tarde Jayco mata al mejor amigo de Edgar y le oculta la verdad, Jayco fue aprovechándose de la hermana de Edgar drogándola hasta que en una fiesta de Navidad La hermana de Edgar se reunio con Jayco enfadada Natasha golpea a Jayco pero él la sube a su auto y en cuestión de minutos la deja casi muerta por lo que enfadado Edgar crean una pelea de Arma entre ellos hasta que Edgar logró matar a Jayco y 7 meses después Edgar es famoso pero en un concierto es asesinado y pasa a un tipo de sonido de doctores con electro-shock y empieza a hablar Edgar algunas palabras y después pasa a la Canción Mas Problemas Tiene Uno ó Mas fama y fortuna/Mi testamento. Al final de los créditos aparece una frase la cual es "CUALQUIER SEMEJANZA CON PERSONAS O ENTIDADES DE LA VIDA REAL ES PURA COINCIDENCIA".

Don Omar (born William Omar Landrón Rivera; February 10, 1978 ), a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer-rapper and actor. He is sometimes referred to by his nickname El Rey (Spanish: "The King").
William Omar Landrón Rivera is the oldest son of William Landrón and Luz Antonia Rivera. He was raised in Santurce, a barrio in the Villa Palmeras area of San Juan, Puerto Rico. From an early age, he showed interest in the music of Vico C and Brewley MC.[citation needed] During his youth, he became an active member of a Protestant church, Iglesia Evangélica Restauración en Cristo in Bayamón where he occasionally offered sermons. However, after four years, he left the church to dedicate himself to singing.
His first public performance in a night club was accompanied by disc jockey Eliel Lind Osorio. Afterwards he appeared regularly on compilation albums from popular DJs and producers including Luny Tunes, Noriega, and DJ Eric. He also worked as a backup singer for the duo Héctor & Tito. One of the members, Héctor Delgado, helped him produce his first solo album.

Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (born February 3, 1977), known artistically as Daddy Yankee, is a Latin Grammy Award-winning Puerto Rican reggaeton recording artist. Ayala was born in Río Piedras, the largest district of San Juan, where he became interested in music at a young age. In his youth he was interested in baseball, and aspired to become a Major League Baseball player. He was unable to continue this sport when he received an injury to one of his legs, leaving him unable to walk correctly. He then became involved in the underground rap movement that was in its early stages in Puerto Rico, later to be called reggaeton. After receiving lessons from several artists within the genre, he developed an independent career, first recording in a production titled Playero 37. After this he began to produce independent albums. His first solo album was No Mercy. He subsequently formed a duo with Nicky Jam, and then continued his solo career with the releases of El Cartel and El Cartel II. This led him be one of many pioneers of the reggaeton genre earning him the nickname "El Cangri".

Talento de Barrio es una película de acción, crimen, drama y música estrenada el 13 de agosto de 2008. El actor principal es el cantante puertorriqueño de reggaetón, Daddy Yankee. Está dirigida por José Iván Santiago y producida por George Rivera y Ángel M. Sanjurjo. Se filmó en el Residencial Gautier Benítez, Caguas, Barrios de Puerto nuevo, Puerto Rico y en los Estados Unidos.
Daddy Yankee actúa como Édgar, o también llamado "[Dinero]". Es un joven que vive en los caseríos de Puerto Rico pero esta harto de la violencia que hay en el caserío en el cual vive el. Sobre aquel camino Édgar encuentra la interrupción entre su pandilla (Ñetas), enamorándose de una muchacha a quien Édgar debe ocultarle su unión con su grupo de barrio.Pronto Edgar se encuentra con su mejor amigo que había salido de la cárcel hace poco , Edgar lo integra a su caserío.Pero Edgar no sabe lo que trama, ya que se ve que tiene contacto con el jefe del caserío quien fue responsable de un tiroteo que hubo en el caserío de Edgar que terminó con la muerte de una niña.Pero Edgar se va fijando bien en Jayco,y ya no lo considera su amigo porque más tarde Jayco mata al mejor amigo de Edgar y le oculta la verdad, Jayco fue aprovechándose de la hermana de Edgar drogándola hasta que en una fiesta de Navidad La hermana de Edgar se reunio con Jayco enfadada Natasha golpea a Jayco pero él la sube a su auto y en cuestión de minutos la deja casi muerta por lo que enfadado Edgar crean una pelea de Arma entre ellos hasta que Edgar logró matar a Jayco y 7 meses después Edgar es famoso pero en un concierto es asesinado y pasa a un tipo de sonido de doctores con electro-shock y empieza a hablar Edgar algunas palabras y después pasa a la Canción Mas Problemas Tiene Uno ó Mas fama y fortuna/Mi testamento. Al final de los créditos aparece una frase la cual es "CUALQUIER SEMEJANZA CON PERSONAS O ENTIDADES DE LA VIDA REAL ES PURA COINCIDENCIA".
