Accidents can happen, especially when you mix Thomas and Friends characters Thomas The Tank, Gordon and Salty on my new Pool Tracks train set and have a rogue Russian navy aircraft carrier warship declare war on Sodor. I have added some Misty Island bumpy track to ramp up the fun. Pool Tracks turns a simple train set into the best pool toy ever. Pool Tracks or as some call it Aqua Tracks can carry quite a few toy trains, but there are a few important tricks in setting it up if you want the train track to float correctly. I will do a detailed how to video showing you the simple steps to turn your train tracks into pool tracks. This system could also translate over to other track systems of even Hot Wheels track. The flotation system is cheap to buy and fast to make, best of all it's reversible. Pool Tracks was shown on my YouTube channel a few years ago, it started out as pool noodle tracks and in this video you get to see the original concept. By using Trackmaster train track and some custom cut foam a floating train track was developed. My son had a real fear of water so this had me devise a way to play with trains in the pool. I really could not find any pool toys that impressed me. As you can see my son now loves the pool, he has no fear of getting the trains if they crash to the bottom of the pool. Pool tracks really makes playing with trains fun, it's so different to have trains in the pool. Trackmaster classic and Trackmaster 2 tracks are easily converted, but TOMY blue track is more difficult. Before I ever explain and instruct on how to do this I need to have clear warnings about the playing in pools with toys. Adult supervision is always required when children play in pools.
