Did you know ECW Legend Sabu nearly signed to WWE in 1993 after impressing Vince McMahon? The idea was to turn Sabu into the Sultan character, which was later played by Hall of Famer Rikishi. In this Title Match exclusive, hear why Sabu decided to stay with ECW, even rejecting a $250k/year deal offered by Vince McMahon. Very interesting comments were made about Paul Heyman as well. Also, why Sabu believes Paul Heyman does not want to be featured on WWE TV.

When you think of the title "December To Dismember" on an ECW event, you think "This should be brutal". Guess what? This event was the opposite of brutal. The only brutality of this event was its lack of extreme. This event was considered one of the worst events of all time and made many wrestlers not want to watch or perform anymore. It's also the first time that I'm sinning something I actually hated, so there's a first. But here is this week's wrestling sin video. The sins of ECW's December To Dismember 2006.
Next week - A 2015 WWE pay per view that seemed like a letdown compared to the awesomeness of the previous year's event.

ECW is a professional wrestling television program for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), based on the independent Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion that lasted from 1992 to 2001. The show's name also referred to the ECW brand, in which WWE employees were assigned to work and perform, complementary to WWE's other brands, Raw and SmackDown. It debuted on June 13, 2006 on Sci Fi in the United States and ran for close to four years until it aired its final episode on February 16, 2010 on the rebranded Syfy. It was replaced the following week with WWE NXT.

Thomas Edward (Eddie) Gilbert, Jr. (August 14, 1961 – February 18, 1995) was an American professional wrestler and booker, better known as "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert.
Gilbert started wrestling in 1979 as "Tommy Gilbert Jr." in honor of his father, Tommy Gilbert. Eddie absolutely loved professional wrestling and his idol was Jerry Lawler because he wrestled and booked at the same time. His mother said he used to make up matches and booking sheets while he was still in school.

In the early 90's, Eastern Championship Wrestling, an independant wrestling federation run by Paul Heyman, seperated itself from the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) and declared itself Extreme Championship Wrestling, debuting on television as "ECW Hardcore TV." The weekly show featured excessively long and violent wrestling matches, and made stars out of such wrestlers as Taz, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Francine, Justin Credible, The Dudley Boyz, The Sandman, Balls Mahoney and Rhino. Financial issues caused the federation and the TV show to go under in 2001.

When you think of the title "December To Dismember" on an ECW event, you think "This should be brutal". Guess what? This event was the opposite of brutal. The only brutality of this event was its lack of extreme. This event was considered one of the worst events of all time and made many wrestlers not want to watch or perform anymore.
