Armenic Sumerian records written ca. 2,700 BC, tell us the story of the Great Flood and the rebirth of Life [the Tree of Life or the Garden [Partez - Paradise - the main motif in the Armenian-Hurrian Mitanni and Araratian reliefs] of Eden located in Armenia - the Land of Four Rivers. Archeologists continue to uncover evidence that Armenia and the Armenian Highlands was the earliest site of human civilization. The earliest record identified with Armenians is from Armenic Sumerian inscriptions around 2700 BC, in which the Armenians are referred to as the sons of Haya, after the regional god of the Armenian Highlands. Another early record identified with Armenians, is from an inscription which mentions Armani together with Ibla, as territories conquered by Naram-Sin (2300 BC) identified with an Akkadian colony in the Diarbekr region

In 1281 B.C. the Assyrian King Adad-Nirari (1307-1275 B.C.) started preparations for a campaign against the Mittanni. Their King Shattuara I, who received intelligence to this effect, wanted to act first and marched on the Assyrians, but he was defeated and captured in this battle, which occurred in 1280 B.C. The Assyrians allowed him to reclaim his kingdom on condition that he accept Assyrian dominance and pay Assyria taxes an tribute. Assyrian King Adad-Nirari I was not quite satisfied with this result and wanted to annex the Hanigalbat region to his kingdom. Meanwhile, Mittani King Vasashatta, who had replaced King Shattuara I, requested help from the Hittites, but the Hittite King Hattushili lll refused support. The Mittani King Wasashatta, who was thus left alone to face the superior armies of Assyria, lost a decisive battle at Irridu, a site located between Kargamısh and Harran. The Assyrian army captured his capital and dragged off King Wasashatta and his whole family in chains to Assyria, where they spent the rest of their lives as slaves. Thus the Mittani Kingdom disappeared in 1275 B.C. and Urfa as well as the larger part of the Hanigalbat region was annexed to the Assyrian Kingdom. The rest of the Hanigalbat region was captured by the Assyrian King Salmanassar I in 1270 B.C.

Queen Nefertiti of Egypt was a native of Kurdish Mitanni princess Tadukhipa. Nefertiti, Egyptian Nfr.t-jy.tj, original pronunciation approximately Nafteta, for ("the beauty has come"). Nefertiti's parentage is not known with certainty, but one often cited theory is that she was the daughter of Ay, later to be pharaoh. Scenes in the tombs of the nobles in Amarna mention the queen’s sister who is named Mutbenret (previously read as Mutnodjemet).
Not: Tadukhipa, in the Hurrian language Tadu-Hepa, was the daughter of Tushratta, king of Mitanni (reigned ca. 1382 BC–1342 BC) and his queen Juni, and niece of Artashumara. Tadukhipa's aunt Gilukhipa (sister of Tushratta) had married Pharaoh Amenhotep III in his 10th regnal year. Tadukhipa was to marry Amenhotep III more than two decades later
The exact dates of when Nefertiti was married to Akhenaten and later promoted to queenship are uncertain. Their six known daughters (and estimated years of birth) were:
*Meritaten: No later than year 1, possibly later became Pharaoh Nefernferuaten.
*Meketaten: Year 4.
*Ankhesenpaaten, also known as Ankhesenamen, later queen of Tutankhamun
*Neferneferuaten Tasherit: Year 8, possibly later became Pharaoh Nefernferuaten.
*Neferneferure: Year 9.
*Setepenre: Year 11.

Mitanni (Hittite cuneiform KUR URUMi-ta-an-ni, also Mittani Mi-it-ta-ni) or Hanigalbat (Assyrian Hanigalbat, Khanigalbat cuneiform Ḫa-ni-gal-bat) was a loosely organized Mitanni and Hurrian-speaking, Indo-Aryan ruled state in northern Syria and south-east Anatolia from ca. 1500 BC–1300 BC. Founded by an Indo-Aryan ruling class governing a predominately Hurrian population, Mitanni came to be a regional power after the Hittite destruction of Amorite Babylon created a power vacuum in Mesopotamia. At the beginning of its history, Mitanni's major rival was Egypt under the Thutmosids. However, with the ascent of the Hittite empire, Mitanni and Egypt made an alliance to protect their mutual interests from the threat of Hittite domination. At the height of its power, during the 14th century BC, it had outposts centered around its capital, Washukanni, whose location has been determined by archaeologists to be on the headwaters of the Khabur River. Eventually, Mitanni succumbed to Hittite and later Assyrian attacks, and was reduced to the status of a province of the Middle Assyrian Empire.

In 1281 B.C. the Assyrian King Adad-Nirari (1307-1275 B.C.) started preparations for a campaign against the Mittanni. Their King Shattuara I, who received intelligence to this effect, wanted to act first and marched on the Assyrians, but he was defeated and captured in this battle, which occurred in 1280 B.C. The Assyrians allowed him to reclaim his kingdom on condition that he accept Assyrian dominance and pay Assyria taxes an tribute. Assyrian King Adad-Nirari I was not quite satisfied with this result and wanted to annex the Hanigalbat region to his kingdom. Meanwhile, Mittani King Vasashatta, who had replaced King Shattuara I, requested help from the Hittites, but the Hittite King Hattushili lll refused support. The Mittani King Wasashatta, who was thus left alone to face the superior armies of Assyria, lost a decisive battle at Irridu, a site located between Kargamısh and Harran. The Assyrian army captured his capital and dragged off King Wasashatta and his whole family in chains to Assyria, where they spent the rest of their lives as slaves. Thus the Mittani Kingdom disappeared in 1275 B.C. and Urfa as well as the larger part of the Hanigalbat region was annexed to the Assyrian Kingdom. The rest of the Hanigalbat region was captured by the Assyrian King Salmanassar I in 1270 B.C.

A Canadian “funeral home’s” use of a dark public service announcement and billboard encouraging drivers to text and drive is causing outrage as well as driving home the message on the dangers of such actions, CNN reported Thursday."It is a horrible thing for a funeral home to do ... Texas Republicans have succeeded in putting a measure up to secede from the United States at their convention this week, an Inquisitr report said Thursday.Pro-secession group Texas Nationalist Movement told Carbonated.TV in a press release the Republican Party of Texas seeks independence from the rest of the nation by seceding from the Union. Even some Luxor casting can’t entirely raise this epic of pyramid scheming, sex and bloodshed from the tomb, but it’s fun while it lasts. Which is quite a long time ... Ouch ... Tut becomes a brave warrior, heroically taking on the enemy, the fearsome Mitanni, who grunt as they, too, are sliced open like water melons ... It’s not just the Mitanni whom Tut has to watch out for – he also faces opposition from within his own ranks ... It’s still tosh ... ....
