While serving as chief analyst of military records at the Assassination Records Review Board in 1997, Douglas Horne discovered that the Zapruder Film was examined by the CIA's National Photographic Interpretation Center two days after the assassination of President Kennedy.
In this film, Horne interviews legendary NPIC photo interpreter Dino Brugioni, who speaks for the first time about another NPIC examination of the film the day after the assassination. Brugioni didn't know about the second examination and believes the Zapruder Film in the archives today is not the film he saw the day after the assassination.
Drawing on Volume 4 of his book "Inside the ARRB", Doug Horne introduces the subject and presents his conclusions.
Five people wake up in a room with now memory of what happened. Four are wearing a white shirt and one is a red shirt. Who can they trust and why are they in the room?
This film was shot on a budget of $0. All the "actors" were friends. So yea don't expect a masterpiece but hopefully it is an interesting concept!

This short film is kind of like a promo for a feature film I'd like to create with the same concept but expanding it with more complex plot elements.
I shot this film in three hours with six friends (five acting and one helping with sound). Sound was the biggest issue because of the echo in the room and the fact that we weren't booming sound. It was really interesting creating a film with friends and for the amount of time we spent making the film I think it turned out okay. I probably spent about 4 hours editing total and kind of gave up on the sound. Ideally I would have done ADR for all the sound but I seriously couldn't be bothered taking that long.
It was all shot completely on my Canon 5d Mark ii with the EF 24-105mm lens and 14mm Rokinon. Edited and coloured in FCPX. I composed the original score as well. Sound for dialogue was a mix of the rode stereo videomic pro and the tascam dr40 but overall audio was absolutely terrible.

In the summer of 2012, Icelandic band Sigur Rós hosted the Valtari Mystery Film Competition in search for its next official music video. Fans voted for their favorites and the band chose the final winner from all the entrants. Our entry, "Dauðalogn", finished in the top 10 out of over 800 entries from across the globe.
Director Andrew Vallentine was chosen as a featured artist on Talent House's website and explains his vision for the film:
"I've always been fascinated with Sigur Rós and the emotional effect their music seems to have on me. When I was listening to dauðalogn, trying to come up with a concept, I literally felt as if I was transported into another time and place. Two characters, who are deeply and passionately in love, fight for the one thing that seems to make them whole--each other. As images from the past and future flash across the screen, we see the female character's inner emotional struggle as she attempts to convey her complex story through dance. I've always been curious with exploring the idea of finding your one true love and not knowing what else to hope or search for in life. This is her story and his loss."

Mystery film is a sub-genre of the more general category of crime film and at times the thriller genre. It focuses on the efforts of the detective, private investigator or amateur sleuth to solve the mysterious circumstances of a crime by means of clues, investigation, and clever deduction. The plot often centers on the deductive ability, prowess, confidence, or diligence of the detective as they attempt to unravel the crime or situation by piecing together clues and circumstances, seeking evidence, interrogating witnesses, and tracking down a criminal. This genre has ranged from early mystery tales, fictional or literary detective stories, to classic Hitchcockian suspense-thrillers to classic private detective films. A related film sub-genre is spy films.
Mystery films mainly focus with solving a crime or a puzzle. The mystery generally revolves around a murder which must then be solved by policemen, private detectives, or amateur sleuths. The viewer is presented with a series of likely suspects, some of who are "red herrings," - persons with motive to commit the crime who didn't actually do it - and attempts to solve the puzzle along with the investigator. At times the viewer is presented with information not available to the main character. Intensity, anxiety, and suspense build to an exciting climax, often with the detective (or protagonist) using his fists or gun to solve the crime. The central character usually explores the unsolved crime, unmasks the perpetrator, and puts an end to the effects of the villainy.

In the summer of 2012, Icelandic band Sigur Rós hosted the Valtari Mystery Film Competition in search for its next official music video. Fans voted for their favorites and the band chose the final winner from all the entrants. Our entry, "Dauðalogn", finished in the top 10 out of over 800 entries from across the globe. Director Andrew Vallentine was chosen as a featured artist on Talent House's website and explains his vision for the film: "I've always been fascinated with Sigur Rós and the emotional effect their music seems to have on me. When I was listening to dauðalogn, trying to come up with a concept, I literally felt as if I was transported into another time and place. Two characters, who are deeply and passionately in love, fight for the one thing that seems to make them whole--each other. As images from the past and future flash across the screen, we see the female character's inner emotional struggle as she attempts to convey her complex story through dance. I've always been curious with exploring the idea of finding your one true love and not knowing what else to hope or search for in life. This is her story and his loss." The Zapruder Film Mystery
While serving as chief analyst of military records at the Assassination Records Review Board in 1997, Douglas Horne discovered that the Zapruder Film was examined by the CIA's National Photographic Interpretation Center two days after the assassination of President Kennedy. In this film, Horne interviews legendary NPIC photo interpreter Dino Brugioni, who speaks for the first time about another NPIC examination of the film the day after the assassination. Brugioni didn't know about the second examination and believes the Zapruder Film in the archives today is not the film he saw the day after the assassination. Drawing on Volume 4 of his book "Inside the ARRB", Doug Horne introduces the subject and presents his conclusions. -
Red (2014 Psychological Thriller Mystery Short Film)
Five people wake up in a room with now memory of what happened. Four are wearing a white shirt and one is a red shirt. Who can they trust and why are they in the room? This film was shot on a budget of $0. All the "actors" were friends. So yea don't expect a masterpiece but hopefully it is an interesting concept! This short film is kind of like a promo for a feature film I'd like to create with the same concept but expanding it with more complex plot elements. I shot this film in three hours with six friends (five acting and one helping with sound). Sound was the biggest issue because of the echo in the room and the fact that we weren't booming sound. It was really interesting creating a film with friends and for the amount of time we spent making the film I think it turned out okay. I probably spent about 4 hours editing total and kind of gave up on the sound. Ideally I would have done ADR for all the sound but I seriously couldn't be bothered taking that long. It was all shot completely on my Canon 5d Mark ii with the EF 24-105mm lens and 14mm Rokinon. Edited and coloured in FCPX. I composed the original score as well. Sound for dialogue was a mix of the rode stereo videomic pro and the tascam dr40 but overall audio was absolutely terrible. -

Sigur Rós - Dauðalogn (Valtari Mystery Film Competition Entry)
In the summer of 2012, Icelandic band Sigur Rós hosted the Valtari Mystery Film Competition in search for its next official music video. Fans voted for their favorites and the band chose the final winner from all the entrants. Our entry, "Dauðalogn", finished in the top 10 out of over 800 entries from across the globe. Director Andrew Vallentine was chosen as a featured artist on Talent House's website and explains his vision for the film: "I've always been fascinated with Sigur Rós and the emotional effect their music seems to have on me. When I was listening to dauðalogn, trying to come up with a concept, I literally felt as if I was transported into another time and place. Two characters, who are deeply and passionately in love, fight for the one thing that seems to make them whole--each other. As images from the past and future flash across the screen, we see the female character's inner emotional struggle as she attempts to convey her complex story through dance. I've always been curious with exploring the idea of finding your one true love and not knowing what else to hope or search for in life. This is her story and his loss." While serving as chief analyst of military records at the Assassination Records Review Board in 1997, Douglas Horne discovered that the Zapruder Film was examined by the CIA's National Photographic Interpretation Center two days after the assassination of President Kennedy.
In this film, Horne interviews legendary NPIC photo interpreter Dino Brugioni, who speaks for the first time about another NPIC examination of the film the day after the assassination. Brugioni didn't know about the second examination and believes the Zapruder Film in the archives today is not the film he saw the day after the assassination.
Drawing on Volume 4 of his book "Inside the ARRB", Doug Horne introduces the subject and presents his conclusions.

This film was shot on a budget of $0. All the "actors" were friends. So yea don't expect a masterpiece but hopefully it is an interesting concept!

This short film is kind of like a promo for a feature film I'd like to create with the same concept but expanding it with more complex plot elements.
I shot this film in three hours with six friends (five acting and one helping with sound). Sound was the biggest issue because of the echo in the room and the fact that we weren't booming sound. It was really interesting creating a film with friends and for the amount of time we spent making the film I think it turned out okay. I probably spent about 4 hours editing total and kind of gave up on the sound. Ideally I would have done ADR for all the sound but I seriously couldn't be bothered taking that long.
It was all shot completely on my Canon 5d Mark ii with the EF 24-105mm lens and 14mm Rokinon. Edited and coloured in FCPX. I composed the original score as well. Sound for dialogue was a mix of the rode stereo videomic pro and the tascam dr40 but overall audio was absolutely terrible.

I probably spent about 4 hours editing total and kind of gave up on the sound. Ideally I would have done ADR for all the sound but I seriously couldn't be bothered taking that long.
It was all shot completely on my Canon 5d Mark ii with the EF 24-105mm lens and 14mm Rokinon. Edited and coloured in FCPX. I composed the original score as well. Sound for dialogue was a mix of the rode stereo videomic pro and the tascam dr40 but overall audio was absolutely terrible.

In the summer of 2012, Icelandic band Sigur Rós hosted the Valtari Mystery Film Competition in search for its next official music video. Fans voted for their favorites and the band chose the final winner from all the entrants. Our entry, "Dauðalogn", finished in the top 10 out of over 800 entries from across the globe.
Director Andrew Vallentine was chosen as a featured artist on Talent House's website and explains his vision for the film:
"I've always been fascinated with Sigur Rós and the emotional effect their music seems to have on me. When I was listening to dauðalogn, trying to come up with a concept, I literally felt as if I was transported into another time and place. Two characters, who are deeply and passionately in love, fight for the one thing that seems to make them whole--each other. As images from the past and future flash across the screen, we see the female character's inner emotional struggle as she attempts to convey her complex story through dance. I've always been curious with exploring the idea of finding your one true love and not knowing what else to hope or search for in life. This is her story and his loss."

"I've always been fascinated with Sigur Rós and the emotional effect their music seems to have on me. When I was listening to dauðalogn, trying to come up with a concept, I literally felt as if I was transported into another time and place. Two characters, who are deeply and passionately in love, fight for the one thing that seems to make them whole--each other. As images from the past and future flash across the screen, we see the female character's inner emotional struggle as she attempts to convey her complex story through dance. I've always been curious with exploring the idea of finding your one true love and not knowing what else to hope or search for in life. This is her story and his loss."

Résumé : Jenny, étudiante à l'université, est à la recherche de l'assassin de son père. Son père s'appelait Thomas Well, ancien agent de la S.P.I (super protection international). Jenny découvre son secret juste après la disparition de sa mère, Sharon Well. Elle décide donc d'intégrer la S.P.I afin de découvrir le responsable de la mort de son père, ainsi de comprendre la disparition de sa mère. Elle sera confronter à de nombreux obstacles, ainsi a de nouveaux mystères.
