Sell More Books

While direct access to IngramSpark is free, uploading a book and maximizing your sales with distribution across all four corners of the globe does have a cost. (Wait a second…globes don’t have corners?)

What you pay for is a greater value through an experienced and reliable self-publishing partner.

Take a look for yourself. With more potential money in your pocket per book sale, you’d be hard pressed to find the same excellent service at a comparable value that offers opportunities like these.

5 Tips for Small Publishing Businesses

Anyone can start his or her own publishing company, but it takes talent to start a successful one. Many authors start companies to publish their own books, but some people create enterprises to publish other authors’ works.

ISBN: International Standard Book Number Facts for Self-Publishers

Authors can self-publish a book in many ways, from traditional printing to digital publishing. No matter the avenue you choose, purchasing an ISBN or International Standard Book Number from Bowker in the US, Thorpe-Bowker in AUS, or Nielsen for UK, is an important component to publishing your book. The ISBN is the familiar number on the barcode on the back cover of every book. It is a code assigned to books on an individual basis. Every single ISBN is unique.

How-To Create an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) for Reviewers

ARCs, or Advance Reader Copies, are remarkable assets to authors because they get the books straight into the hands of book reviewers, peer reviewers, bloggers, and other people who may offer input, praise, or publicity for your book. ARCs are different from proofs because they aren’t just for the author’s perusal; they are sent to reviewers prior to the public release of the book, generally about 3 months in advance. ARCs also give you the chance to see what reviewers think about your material, allowing changes or edits before it’s released.
