“The emails in question were sent by Valerie Brader, then the governor’s environmental policy adviser, and Mike Gadola, then his chief counsel. The governor himself was not a recipient, but his closest advisers were, including his chief of staff, deputy chief of staff, and communications director. Snyder staffers told the News they did not take their concerns directly to the governor until October 2015, when the water supply was switched.
On October 14 2014, after General Motors said it would stop using Flint water because it was corroding auto parts, Brader advised that Flint reconnect to the Detroit water supply. Gadola concurred, adding a sense of personal urgency—he grew up in Flint, and his mother still lived there, he wrote.”

Well, expect the endorsements of Donald Trump to really ramp up from here on as his inevitability sets in on the American body politic.
The latest announcement is Maine Governor Paul LePage.
“I was Donald Trump before Donald Trump became popular. So I think I should support him because we’re [cut from] the same cloth.”
LePage attacked Trump’s main rivals, Cruz and Rubio for their blitz on Trump during the debate:
“[They were] killing the brand.”
“I think there’s a mini-revolution going on in our country. We’re saying enough is enough with the gridlock. Washington is broken. And the reason I am coming out is two of the people that are chasing him are two of the people that create the gridlock.”
“I think he could be one of the greatest presidents if he sits down and puts together a good team.”
LePage made his announcement on a local radio show. Trump called into the show and said of LePage:
"He's a great guy — respected by a lot of people and I'll tell you really respected by Chris Christie. That is our terrific honor."

Rick Snyder reveal some of his top aides advocated switching Flint's drinking water away from the highly corrosive Flint River a year before the seriousness of the crisis became clear. The emails, released after public pressure for transparency, provide insight into what happened behind the scenes as the crisis unfolded. In one, dated October 14, 2014, Valerie Brader, the governor's deputy legal counsel and senior policy adviser, reached out to top aides.
