The Alfond Foundation has generously committed to invest $240M in the University of Maine System to support initiatives at UMaine, USM and all other UMS campuses. Notably this milestone gift is the largest multi-campus private gift in the history of the University of Maine System. This gift will transform UMaine, the UMS and public higher education in Maine and will greatly contribute to enhancing the educational opportunities and success of students for years to come.
