Hallo Leute :),
Nach einiger Zeit melde ich mich mit dem ersten von insgesamt 5 Prater Videos zurück. Es werden also nach und nach alle Geisterbahnen von Wien und das Jack the Ripper Haus hier von mir festgehalten. Mein erstes Video ist wie ihr seht von der neusten Geisterbahn in Wien und zwar dem Hotel Psycho!!! Dies ist tatsächlich eine der wenigen Geisterbahnen die es fertig brachte mir ein unwohles Gefühl während der Fahrt zu bescheren. Die Effekte sind genial, die Figuren blutig, brutal und absolut widerlich. Besser bzw fieser kann man wohl eine Geisterbahn nicht machen. Absolute Spitzenklasse!!!!!!! Auf meinem Video seht ihr wieder alle Effekte. Und jetzt viel Spaß beim schauen :).

The Wiener Prater is a large public park in Vienna's 2nd district (Leopoldstadt). The Wurstelprater amusement park, often simply called "Prater", stands in one corner of the Wiener Prater and includes the Wiener Riesenrad.
The name Prater derives from one or the other or possibly both Latin words pratum meaning meadow and Praetor[citation needed] meaning magistrate or lawyer, possibly via Spanish prado.
The area that makes up the modern Prater was first mentioned in 1162, when Emperor Friedrich I gave the land to a noble family called de Prato. The word "Prater" was first used in 1403, originally referring to a small island in the Danube north of Freudenau, but was gradually extended to mean the neighbouring areas as well. The land changed hands frequently until it was bought by Emperor Maximilian II in 1560 to be a hunting ground. To deal with the problem of poachers, Emperor Rudolf II forbade entry to the Prater. On April 7 1766, Emperor Joseph II declared the Prater to be free for public enjoyment, and allowed the establishment of coffee-houses and cafés, which led to the beginnings of the Wurstelprater. Throughout this time, hunting continued to take place in the Prater, ending only in 1920.

Vienna Prater 117m Starflyer
The world's tallest Starflyer is coming to Prater. Called 'Praterturm' it will stand 117m high, giving all riders a breathtaking view of Vienna. The top piece of Praterturm will be a Clock as in the artist rendition to the right. Building of this gigantic structure was during a very difficult winter but the crew worked on. In just 3 weeks they installed 70,000 nuts and bolts, one full truck! -

Po celý listopad každý den vždy o půlnoci jeden díl (jedno video). Ať se videa líbí a budeme rádi za jakýkoliv komentář. Zahraniční pouťový speciál se natáčel v Rakousku ve Vídni v Prateru. Videa byla natáčena v létě (školní letní prázdniny). -

From spring to fall, hundreds if not thousands of people flock to this place daily to drink a beer or eat a meal. Their most famous dish is "Stelze", rear pork knuckle, usually eaten with a side dish of horse radish, mustard, sauerkraut and potatoes or dumplings. Their beer selection is surprisingly good. One can chose from various blond beers (Czech or Austrian), two dark beers (one kind of sweet), a wheat beer with extra yeast, a red-ish ale, and so on. The beers are from Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. While the menu has everything ranging from poultry to fish, people mostly come here for the meat. Besides the pork knuckle, they serve a few interesting dishes from Hungarian recipes. My mouth is watering and the beer was excellent. In the immediate surroundings is the Prater, offering both rollercoaster rides as well as a large green space for hiking off those extra calories and child playgrounds. We had a change of plans in Vienna, Dad got sick and wanted to go home, so I was of to explore on my own. I don't mind traveling alone, but I was expecting to share the experience with my dad so of course I was disappointed, but I made the best of it and saw a bunch of things:)
The Vienna Secession Building or "The Secession" which Gustav Klimt helped design and is like nothing I've ever seen before.. very cool.
Naschmarkt is an open street market with fresh produce and ready to eat food, it was a lot hight quality than I expected.. but then again it is Vienna:)
I explores the Donau Tower with Mel and her friend Patricia (who didn't want to be filmed, I respect that). We had a bit of trouble finding it, but made it to the top and had a good cake and drink at the Donau Turm Restaurent which spins around and lets you enjoy the view over the city.
Donau Insel is really cool, and the perfect place to cool off, it was SO hot that day.
Checked out the Vienna Prater an old amusement park, very cool, and ended the day with a visit to the mumok museum and live music in the museum quarter.
A different day than I was expecting but really good:)

We had a change of plans in Vienna, Dad got sick and wanted to go home, so I was of to explore on my own. I don't mind traveling alone, but I was expecting to share the experience with my dad so of course I was disappointed, but I made the best of it and saw a bunch of things:)

Donau und Schönbrunn stehen heute auf der Programm meiner Wien Reise. Mit dem Sightseeing Bus geht es in Richtung Donau und Donaukanal, vorbei am Wiener Prater und dem UN Gebäude. Hier lernen wir einen ganz anderen Teil Wiens kennen, er ist grün, ruhig und wunderbar am Fluss gelegen.
Am Nachmittag machen wir uns auf zum Schloss Schönbrunn, der Sommerresidenz der Habsburger. Hier hat Sisi gelebt und die berühmten Sissi Filme aus den 50er Jahren wurden im Palastgarten gedreht.

In Vienna episode 5 we will see the Vienna Prater, famous Castle Schloss Schönbrunn, Café Sacher and river Danube.
Vienna (German: Wien, Austro-Bavarian: Wean) is the capital and largest city of Austria, and one of the nine states of Austria. Vienna is Austria's primary city, with a population of about 1.757 million(2.4 million within the metropolitan area, more than 20% of Austria's population), and is by far the largest city in Austria, as well as its cultural, economic, and political centre. It is the 7th-largest city by population within city limits in the European Union.
Donau und Schönbrunn stehen heute auf der Programm meiner Wien Reise. Mit dem Sightseeing Bus geht es in Richtung Donau und Donaukanal, vorbei am Wiener Prater und dem UN Gebäude. Hier lernen wir einen ganz anderen Teil Wiens kennen, er ist grün, ruhig und wunderbar am Fluss gelegen.
Am Nachmittag machen wir uns auf zum Schloss Schönbrunn, der Sommerresidenz der Habsburger. Hier hat Sisi gelebt und die berühmten Sissi Filme aus den 50er Jahren wurden im Palastgarten gedreht.

In this vlog we take you for a trip to a very popular (and for good reason) Viennese sausage stand and then on the the famous Prater (actually officially called Wurstelprater) amusement park where we see the worlds tallest spinny chair ride thingie that has amazing views of the city! Ever wondered if the stars of Madame Tussauds wear underwear? I did so I have a look.
One of the best aspects of my job is that I am constantly traveling, which means I get to see new places and meet new and interesting people. I find that every city has it’s own unique personality, and my preferred method of travel is to live as a local as much as possible to really get a feel for it. I can’t help but start to feel at home in each city, and Vienna (Wien) was no exception. I felt in my experience that Vienna has a very polished and uber clean aesthetic, which made me worry initially that it would have a bit of a cold personality but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I had never been to Austria in general before arriving in Vienna, and I had also done zero research into what to expect. So I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find a really sleek and clean city inhabited by friendly people.

The park and surrounding grassland support yucca, agave, cacti and ocotillo, while growing among the rocks are Emory and gray oak. Mule deer, roadrunners, javelinas, cactus wrens, western diamondback rattlesnakes, ground squirrels, coyotes and jackrabbits all make their home here. Until 1200 A.D., Mimbres Indians roamed this area, leaving arrowheads and pottery shards as evidence of their culture. The park also lies within the traditional homelands of the Chiricahua and Warm Springs Apache. Spanish explorers and settlers arrived in 1500 and mule trains loaded with copper from the nearby Santa Rita mine passed nearby on their way to Chihuahua from 1804 to 1834. After the Mexican War of 1846-48, the Mormon Battalion blazed a trail south of the park to link newly acquired New Mexico and Arizona with the eastern United States.
