Ampersan (Zindu Cano y Kevin García)
Los caminos son todos los caminos. El horizonte es un planeta que en sus bordes oblicuos avecina nuevos planetas. El camino es aquí y ahora, es aquel gesto ancestral de quien sintió el asombro de la música, la canción que nos recuerda aromas de otras vidas. El presente del pasado, el ahora encendido, el fuego y la electricidad. La tradición. Los corazones jóvenes y viejos que laten con pareja intensidad. La música de Ampersan es un libro de cantos, donde el sentido de los sonidos se desplaza por el tiempo. El futuro es ayer, porque los caminos son todos los caminos. En el laberinto del oído hay una máquina del tiempo.

El grupo nace a finales del año 2007, tras la unión de Zindu Cano y Kevin García, con el propósito de dar salida a sus creaciones individuales y colectivas, partiendo de la exploración sonora y la investigación poética-musical.
Se han presentando en diversos foros del país, realizando música para teatro, danza, poesía y cine. La Flor de la Biznaga, su primer disco está a punto de salir a la luz.
Los versos que el dueto nos interpreta, son del Poeta Orlando Guillén (Acayucan, Veracruz, 1945).
"Sus señas de identidad están impregnadas de ese incienso del baúl Siglo de Oro español. Su ser encierra y despliega un alma poética, aun en las zonas más lúgubres y jurídicas. La poesía catalana y los alegatos políticos, la danza y el teatro, la música y los clásicos, son otros territorios que ocupan la pluma barroca y despiadada de Orlando Guillen."
Entre sus libros: Versario pirata, El costillar de Caín y La Estampida de los hipócritas, Rey de Bastos. Su antología Doce Poetas Catalanes, aun aguarda el instante de su vuelo mayor.

An ampersand (or epershand; "&") is a logogram representing the conjunction word "and". This symbol is a ligature of the letters in et, Latin for "and".
The word ampersand is a conflation of the phrase "and per se and", meaning "and [the symbol which] by itself [is] and".
Traditionally, in English-speaking schools when reciting the alphabet, any letter that could also be used as a word in itself ("A", "I", and, at one point, "O") was preceded by the Latin expression per se (Latin for "by itself"). Also, it was common practice to add at the end of the alphabet the "&" sign as the 27th letter, pronounced and. Thus, the recitation of the alphabet would end in: "X, Y, Z and per se and". This last phrase was routinely slurred to "ampersand" and the term crept into common English usage by around 1837.
Through popular etymology, it has been falsely claimed that André-Marie Ampère used the symbol in his widely read publications, and that people began calling the new shape "Ampère's and".
The ampersand can be traced back to the 1st century A.D. and the Old Roman cursive, in which the letters E and T occasionally were written together to form a ligature (figure 1). In the later and more flowing New Roman Cursive, ligatures of all kinds were extremely common; figures 2 and 3 from the middle of 5th century are both examples of how the et-ligature could look in this script. However, during the following development of the Latin script that led up to the Carolingian minuscule (7th century), while the use of ligatures in general diminished, the et-ligature continued to be used and gradually became more stylized and less revealing of its origin (figures 4–6).

Ampersan (Zindu Cano y Kevin García)
Los caminos son todos los caminos. El horizonte es un planeta que en sus bordes oblicuos avecina nuevos planetas. El camino es aquí y ahora, es aquel gesto ancestral de quien sintió el asombro de la música, la canción que nos recuerda aromas de otras vidas. El presente del pasado, el ahora encendido, el fuego y la electricidad. La tradición. Los corazones jóvenes y viejos que laten con pareja intensidad. La música de Ampersan es un libro de cantos, donde el sentido de los sonidos se desplaza por el tiempo. El futuro es ayer, porque los caminos son todos los caminos. En el laberinto del oído hay una máquina del tiempo.
Raúl Silva
El grupo nace a finales del año 2007, tras la unión de Zindu Cano y Kevin García, con el propósito de dar salida a sus creaciones individuales y colectivas, partiendo de la exploración sonora y la investigación poética-musical.
Se han presentando en diversos foros del país, realizando música para teatro, danza, poesía y cine. La Flor de la Biznaga, su primer disco está a punto de salir a la luz.
Los versos que el dueto nos interpreta, son del Poeta Orlando Guillén (Acayucan, Veracruz, 1945).
"Sus señas de identidad están impregnadas de ese incienso del baúl Siglo de Oro español. Su ser encierra y despliega un alma poética, aun en las zonas más lúgubres y jurídicas. La poesía catalana y los alegatos políticos, la danza y el teatro, la música y los clásicos, son otros territorios que ocupan la pluma barroca y despiadada de Orlando Guillen."
Entre sus libros: Versario pirata, El costillar de Caín y La Estampida de los hipócritas, Rey de Bastos. Su antología Doce Poetas Catalanes, aun aguarda el instante de su vuelo mayor.

The surface is sanded to an ultra-smooth, highly absorbent finish so your paint colours remain true and brilliant. Work the surface by thinly applying paint or ink, then remove it, reapply it, even scratch through it to add contrast, texture and fine details. Claybord is a favourite of both fine and graphic artists. Only Ampersand builds their cradles by hand with premium grade 13-ply birch plywood for maximum stability and a clean, finished look from edge to edge.
