Kid Capri is the stage name of David Anthony Love, Jr. (born February 7, 1967), an American DJ and rapper.
Kid Capri was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. He is the son of David Love, Sr., a musician and singer.
In the 1970s, Kid Capri began to attend block parties, starting his DJ career at age 8. His stage name was taken from a girl he used to date who was eventually "murdered by accident." During class one day, she had said to him, "Kid Capri sounds like a good name for a DJ," and he later took her suggestion. He eventually garnered widespread attention at Studio 54 and began selling his sets with his partner at the time, Starchild.
Kid Capri has deejayed for seven seasons of Def Comedy Jam. He has produced tracks for Boogie Down Productions, Heavy D, Big L, Grand Puba. He eventually released an LP on Warner Brothers Records titled The Tape in 1991. He appeared in the 1993 movie Who's the Man?. In 1997, Kid Capri signed with the Track Masters' Columbia Records-distributed label after he appeared on the 1997 Puff Daddy and the Family World Tour. He has subsequently released Soundtrack to the Streets in 1998.
Kid Capri has been involved in his own record label, No Kid'n Records. He was featured on the itshiphop.tv show The Breakdown, in which he talked about his current and future projects, his views on Japan's hip hop scene, and the origin of his stage name. On July 29, 2007, Kid Capri made an appearance during Rock The Bells 2007 as Rakim's DJ. Kid Capri also made an appearance as Rakim's DJ during the Rock The Bells 2008 show on July 19, 2008 in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Kid has been featured as lead judge on Smirnoff's Master of the Mix, the BET reality TV competition in search of the nation's best DJ. In March 2012, Kid was commissioned to remix "Masterpiece", an exclusive track featured on the special Smirnoff Nightlife Edition of Madonna's album, MDNA. He joined her for the album release party in Miami as a part of Winter Music Conference, and the album was released on March 26, 2012.

Capri (/kəˈpriː/; Italian pronunciation: [ˈkaːpri]) is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. The main town on the island shares the name. It has been a resort since the time of the Roman Republic.
Features of the island are the Marina Piccola (the little harbour), the Belvedere of Tragara (a high panoramic promenade lined with villas), the limestone crags called sea stacks that project above the sea (the Faraglioni), the town of Anacapri, the Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas.
Capri is part of the region of Campania, Province of Naples. The town of Capri is the island's main population centre. The island has two harbours, Marina Piccola and Marina Grande (the main port of the island). The separate comune of Anacapri is located high on the hills to the west.
The etymology of the name Capri is unclear; it might either be traced back to the Ancient Greeks (Ancient Greek kapros meaning "wild boar"), the first recorded colonists to populate the island. But it could also derive from Latin capreae (goats). Fossils of wild boars have been discovered, lending credence to the "kapros" etymology, but on the other hand the Romans called Capri "goat island". Finally, there is also the possibility the name derives from an Etruscan word for "rocky", though any historical Etruscan rule of the island is disputed.

Martin Fitzgerald Lawrence (born April 16, 1965) is an actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, and stand up comedian. He came to fame during the 1990s, establishing a Hollywood career as a leading actor, most notably the films Bad Boys, Blue Streak, and Big Momma's House. Lawrence has acted in numerous film roles and starred in his own television series, Martin, which ran from 1992 to 1997.
Lawrence was born in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse in Germany on April 16, 1965, to American parents. He was given his first name after civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. and his middle name after US President John F. Kennedy. His father, John Lawrence, served in the US Military. After his parents divorced when he was eight, Lawrence rarely saw his father, who worked as a police officer at the time. His mother, Chlora (née Bailey), began working several jobs to support her family. During his teen years, Lawrence excelled at boxing. He lived in Maryland, and attended Thomas G. Pullen School of Creative and Performing Arts (Landover, Maryland), Fairmont Heights High School (Fairmount Heights, Maryland), Eleanor Roosevelt High School, and also Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Maryland, becoming a Mid-Atlantic Golden Gloves boxing contender.

In the 1970s, Kid Capri began to attend block parties, starting his DJ career at age 8. His stage name was taken from a girl he used to date who was eventually "murdered by accident." During class one day, she had said to him, "Kid Capri sounds like a good name for a DJ," and he later took her suggestion. He eventually garnered widespread attention at Studio 54 and began selling his sets with his partner at the time, Starchild.
Kid Capri has deejayed for seven seasons of Def Comedy Jam. He has produced tracks for Boogie Down Productions, Heavy D, Big L, Grand Puba. He eventually released an LP on Warner Brothers Records titled The Tape in 1991. He appeared in the 1993 movie Who's the Man?. In 1997, Kid Capri signed with the Track Masters' Columbia Records-distributed label after he appeared on the 1997 Puff Daddy and the Family World Tour. He has subsequently released Soundtrack to the Streets in 1998.

When traveling to southern Italy, one must see is the Island of Capri, a simple 40 minute boat ride from Naples Italy, or Napoli. We hope to show you a quick look at what to expect during your travels. 1. Fly to Naples Italy 2. Take a taxi to the "Porto", but negotiate the rate first or make sure the cab driver doesn't hide the meter, Say "turn on the meter". 3. Once at the port purchase a ticket from "SNAV" to Capri. When traveling to southern Italy, one must see is the Island of Capri, a simple 40 minute boat ride from Naples Italy, or Napoli. We hope to show you a quick look at what to expect during your travels. 1. Fly to Naples Italy 2. Take a taxi to the "Porto", but negotiate the rate first or make sure the cab driver doesn't hide the meter, Say "turn on the meter". 3. Once at the port purchase a ticket from "SNAV" to Capri. It can be hard to find but look for "Capri" on the ticket window then the word SNAV. 4. Once in Capri, give your bags to the "Porter" and tell them what hotel you are at. 5. We recommend "La Minerva" hotel, small, quite and ridiculously good customer service from Antonia, Luigi, and Marco. 6. Then Go the the arch that says "Funiculare"... that's the cable car up to the "Square". 7. Once in the Capri square, walk out of the Funiculare and up the stairs to the main square and go RIGHT, towards the ticket booth labeled "Anacapri". Buy a ticket for the bus which will take you to up to Anacapri... note, if you don't like heights, sit down on the bus and don't look out the Right side of the bus, it's a crazy high cliff and the bus is a bit precarious. 8. Once in Anacapri the bus will drop you at the main area then to get to the Chair lift to the top, look for or ask for the "seggiovia"... then buy a ticket, only a couple Euro. Then that will take you all the way to the top. FYI, bring a jacket in case you hit clouds on the way up, it can get very chilly! But it's awesome. The view of all of Anacapri and Capri can be seen from up on top of Monte Solaro.
